Thank you Nate! Above & beyond - we WILL be back!!!
Jordan was an excellent server
First time going to Cook Hall- the food was delicious but the restaurant was mostly empty and the waitress brought us our check right after serving our entrees- odd because we were literally still eating and planned on ordering more drinks and dessert. They also only split checks 3 ways which makes it difficult for large parties.
Great waygu skirt steak meal. One of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had. Service was great.
Great service always, Nathan is the best and takes care of everyone.
Great atmosphere and even better location. The food and drinks we great!
Terrible service!!!! $5 6 oz ice teas!
The food was good but wasn't worth a five star price. The drinks were okay and the food proportions were way too small.
We came in before the Spurs/Mavs game, we were seated quickly and asked to order a drink as soon as we sat down. That part was nice although when we said we’d need a few to look over the menu, our server made us feel like it was an inconvenience that she had to come back. The food was fine, the chef came out and made his rounds but our server’s lack of hospitality and consistency will be the reason we don’t return.
Outstanding service, great food, fabulous location. Loved the Cher music in the background!
This was a great get-together with friends from out of town. The food and service were excellent.
The duck was magnificent, and the service excellent.
Great food and service
Whole meal was delicious. Service was attentive and accommodating. We did ask to split a couple plates and that didn’t happen but was really not an issue. Would go back.!
Awesome place, highly recommend. We stopped in before a concert and had some great drinks and dinner.
Outstanding host and servers, who met our needs and made us feel valued as customers
We were very happy that they knew what event was happening at AAC & service was prompt & knowledgeable. Enjoyed food, atmosphere, & we will go again.
From the minute we walked into the hotel and asked where Cook Hall was, to the time we left, everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was incredible, the drinks were fairly priced and well made. We were worried that we would be cutting it close to see our show at the AAC, but the food came out quickly and we didn’t have to rush. I am not a grits fan, but I would highly recommend their Shrimp and Grits.
Th service was amazing. The food was good but very pricey for what we got. The Wagyu steak was tough and had grizzles. Drinks were extremely expensive for basic drinks.
Bruschetta bread was stale. Couldn’t even bite with teeth or cut with knife. Pasta was good. Brisket sandwich extremely greasy and soaked bread. FF were just ok.
This is our “go to” before events at the AA Center. Food is always good; the service is better!
It’s was one of the good hotel restaurants for breakfast. Service was awesome. Art is a fantastic server and wish all your servers are trained like him
Great service! Food was a bit underwhelming - expected more flavor
Went here for pre Mavs game dinner. Good food and nice options for the family. Kids meal seemed limited, but had a burger and chicken tenders. Easy environment for the family too. Felt everything was a couple dollars high for what we got, but I chalked that up as a convenience charge. Bottom line, would take the family back again for another pre-event dinner, but would go elsewhere in the neighborhood on date night.
Fun place and great food!
Fun time but getting check was very slow so I was in a hurry when I finally received the check and paid cash to get to the PINK concert on time.. I didn't realize you had already taken tip so I tipped again which made the tip ridiculous amount.
Great breakfast. Fabulous eggs Benedict. The serving would easily satisfy two people!
This place was dead on Saturday night. It is part of the W Hotel but thought it would’ve been more going on. Waitress was super nice and friendly. We ended up only having cocktails then going somewhere a little more lively for Saturday.
The help was under staffed and as a result the service was much slower than usual. We typically eat at Cook Hall before a Dallas Stars game and have plenty of time catch warm ups. That did not happen Saturday night because it took so long at Cook Hall. Not the waitress’ fault, just not enough help.
Food was good, maybe a little on the expensive side. Service was a bit slow but the waitress was very nice & friendly. Good place to eat prior to Mavs game, was not crowded & very close.
Loved the location since we were going to the Mav's game.
food was OK. We had a great waitress!! Beautiful hotel and restaurant.
Out of 2-3 Beers on Tap, Changing Restaurant up not many people in Restaurant. Happy Hour not available during events (Stars&Mavericks) maybe consider having happy hour until updates are completed. Might increase Business
Food was over priced. Service was very slow considering we were one of 3 tables with people at the time. Split up the bill incorrectly. Maybe just a training issue. No frozen drinks
Cook Hall is in the W hotel across from the American Airlines Center. The menu is limited and I would advise looking over it in advance to make sure it works for you. Service was poor. We ordered a bottle of wine (wine list is very limited also) and it was served warm after much delay while the manager tried to find wine glasses. The food was not good and the order was messed up. They kept apologizing but the whole experience was a mess. It is a pretty place with a nice atmosphere.
Biggest worry was parking and making the reservation on time, this ended up being a breeze! This was my first time booking a reservation through open table and it was very simple! The service, food, and restaurant itself were all great.
Busy concert night and restaurant was way, way understaffed and servers were poorly trained.
Great ambience : consistent : well trained team : wonderful menu
Across from American Airlines Center, so very convenient for pre-game/event meal.
The food was great but service was subpar. We started getting meals before we got a drink. After appetizers, we were asked if it’s okay to keep our dirty plates for the meal we’d be sharing. Pretty tough to excuse such an expensive meal for poor service.
