Amazing. Warm. Great food.
An amazing dining experience with superb ambience. Food was excellent. The burrata was incredible.
It feels like you are in Italy! The food is excellent and the menu offers very well thought out creative dishes. My father-in-law is the fussiest eater on earth, but we convinced him to try dishes out of his comfort zone (that he swore he would hate) and he ended up devouring everything. We had a large group and they accommodated us in the lower level and it felt like dining at your Nona's house. You gotta go!
Two of our party of four were late and they were very accommodating. Thanks!
The food was incredible! The staff was amazing and so friendly! This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in a while. Not to mention, being from out of town and seeing Celine Dion at the Barclays Center, it was super close and convenient! Will definitely be back!
Really lovely ambiance. Perfect date spot. Pasta was delicious. No hard liquor, only wine.
The food was delicious, the place is a bit dark and loud but it was Saturday night. Overall a must try spot- great for a date.
Amazing spot in Brooklyn. Staff is warm and discreet at the same time. Food is outstanding. One of my favorite restaurants in New York.
This was our first time at this restaurant … & we were blown away by the food, the service, the ambience. Everything about this place was simply outstanding.
First of all, somehow our 6:00 reservation was cancelled inadvertently. There was a large dinner downstairs so we waited quite a while (almost until ~ 6:45) for a table in the very crowded upstairs. The spinach salad was average, the tagliatelle pasta was salty, no offer of a birthday treat (we would have paid for it) and service was just ok.
Maybe just an off night for them- as the reviews we read prior to booking made this restaurant sound quite impressive!
Incredible and authentic Italian cuisine....BRAVISSIMO!
Food was delicious but music was very very loud and we were seated in a rather uncomfortable end of a very large multi party table with 2 of us on an end where there should have been 1 for a party of 4 despite making our reservation well in advance. 2 couples eating together at the other end of the large table were seated across from each other but they didn't give us the same amount of space. Our server tried to take our food order before drinks and ended up taking it all at the same time which was fine but just seemed like we were an add on for him. I would give it another try but they didn't knock it out of the park for me.
It was great! The food is delicious and well priced. I’ll definitely will be back
Food is ok but over price, service is good but they charge 20% for our two people
Perfect spot in Park slope for every day dining! Specials were on point and our waiter Angel recommend us a great Nebbiolo BY THE GLASS!!!!! . My favorite place from now on. Have Angel help you with your wine and food choices!
Food was pretty good but nothing was truly memorable. Ambiance and decor are the real draw here.
Delicious and unique - curated menu
We had ordered steak for 2 my sister asked for Steak Sauce she was abruptly told they don’t have any and she does not need it Why ???
We always enjoy Convivium. The atmosphere is beautiful and quaint, and the people are friendly. The food is consistently excellent. Great neighborhood place.
Great restaurant; nice atmosphere, quaint, incredible steak - a real nice place to go
We had dinner here on Sunday evening. Everything we ate was delicious. And unique...we are so tired of Italian restaurants with the same appetizers and main dishes at each one of them. Here the menu was exciting for us. The quail appetizer was incredible- the port wine and sausage stuffing made this dish one where we were using bread to clean up the plate to be sure we ate every bit. The fennel salad perfect crunch with a light dressing. Main course - Rabbit. Moist, tender bursting with flavor!
Highly recommend. Quiet comfortable cozy environment. Excellent service. Thank-you for one of the best meals we have had in Brooklyn.
We celebrated my sister 60th Birthday this nice intimate place was so awesome I am glad that google had named this as one of the top 10 Italian restaurants in Brooklyn m. We did not know what to expect they did not disappoint not at all the food here is amazing. The ambiance was excellent I will be back for sure we was happy with everything we ordered I had two of my sisters with me the three of us was impressed to eat some real authentic Italian cuisine you will taste the difference. Excellent glad I find this awesome place. I don’t eat out much because I cook but I know where I will be having a solo lunch soon!!!
I would definitely recommend Convivium. We were seated in the wine cellar which isn't quite as nice as upstairs but it was much quieter. The clams and the rabbit were a little salty but still delicious. I loved the farro salad and the pine nut and honey tart. The wines were reasonably priced and very good. Service was excellent.
Absolutely delightful! Had dinner with my fam on Sunday and was incredible. It was pretty busy but our waiter took the time to take us through the menu and helped us pick the best dishes! They really emphasize in hospitality and customer’ s satisfaction. My ravioli were the best dish I have had in the last 10 years ! I
Smaller than the pictures on Yelp. Food was like warm.
One of my best experiences in Brooklyn. Great selection of wine. Food is delicious, especially the ravioli and rabbit. Service is professional and knowledgeable. Angel made great recommendations for both wine and food. He took care of every single detail that made our dinner perfect and memorable.
Much needed date night with my gorgeous wife. No kids!!! Dinner and Marc Anthony concert right after. We were supposed to come to convivíum years ago when we lived in park slope. Wish we would’ve just went when we lived there. Would’ve went over and over and over. Can’t say one bad thing about this place. First time having quail. Cant wait to have it again. First time having mediterranean sea bass....new favorite fish. Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely European style restaurant . Dependable and consistent.
My husband and I visited Convivium Osteria this past Saturday. The space was cozy and intimate and felt like we were eating a private meal in someone's home. The owner was welcoming and conscious of all aspects of the restaurants. Service was attentive and the food was delicious. We will be back!
Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great experience with friends!
Cozy tuscan ambiance. Delicious food. Gnudi superior!
Love the decor. Creative cuisine but very good portions. Great ambiance.
Service was
The food and wine are impeccable! Our server was attentive to our schedule as we had a concert at Barclays to attend to. Michelle was very understanding and accommodating when we were running late for our reservation. I will be returning again, but this time I'll make sure to be early.
Very nice ambiance and delicious food, we ordered our meal to share in 3 separate course to share but they brought all the dishes at once. They did bring the food back and keep it warm for us.
Nice wine selection, i would highly recommend this restaurant.
A neighborhood gem, which transports the diner into the world of southern Europe in both decor and cuisine.
The overall experience was excellent. Very authentic feel for the food, servers and surroundings. It would be great if they would offer more seafood entree options. My girlfriend and I are pescatarian - having only 1 entree (sea bass) was limiting - but it was excellent. The apps were really wonderful. I would return more often with more entree choices. Providing gluten free pasta options would also give us flexibility.
Wine cellar was a delightful place to have a dinner with friends.
Nice place. Good food. Didn't feel overly welcome.
This place is so legit and so delicious. Great wine list, and the food was wonderful. The staff and owner were so hospitable we felt like we were visiting someone’s home. Recommend this place highly and we will definitely be back.
