We had an awesome dinner at Continental! Our service was perfect and the meal was amazing! The filet was prepared at the perfect temperature! Best of all was dessert- the perfect sundae!
While on our vacation we celebrated a past birthday that couldn’t be celebrated at the time due to the pandemic so I wanted it to be extra special. I couldn’t have asked for more. I loved everything. Our waiter was very attentive and full of great information. The food and wine was delicious. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside and it was just perfect. I’d highly recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing experience! Loved our server, Maria! Great vibe, beautiful! Food & drink - YUM!
It was my boyfriend and I’s two year’s anniversary. We made this trip to Naples to relax and eat some amazing food! And the continental was quite the way to end our trip! Food, service, everything was wonderful! We absolutely love the ambiance outside. They treated us to a complimentary dessert for our special day, we were so grateful. Food cooked to perfection! We will be back!
I have been to this amazing restaurant only two times. It's time to write how I feel. The food, the feeling, the amazing people that work here. Special thanks to Tony "The Greek". To remember me from my first visit and getting to talk about our home towns was simply fantastic. Tony is an above and beyond individual. We will come back again and again.
Consistency is the key to any restaurant and the Continental never fails in being consistently awesome. From the upbeat hostess to the service, the staff is always friendly. The wine list is substantial, The music sets a perfect vibe and the food never disappoints. My personal favorite appetizer is the tomato carpaccio salad. The steaks are great and if your looking for comfort food the meatloaf is better than mom’s!
Outdoor dining is lovely! Outdoor music was awesome.
They were very kind to change our seating from inside a small room with uncomfortably loud acoustics to outdoor seating which was a much nicer experience overall. Food was delicious.
Excellent food and service, recommend the steaks which are of very high quality.
Excellent service by David and food was outstanding. Best Lobster and Steak.
Never disappointed with the Continental. Always a pleasurable experience!
Frequent diner at the restaurant but pretty disappointed in the quality of the food this time around.
Outstanding in all respects. Food was excellent, server (Frankel (sp?)) was knowledgeable, professional and attentive all evening, including effectively dealing with a surprise rain shower. All our guests enjoyed the evening, which reflected favorably on us, the hosts!
Great, service was great!!!!
Our server (Katie) was very knowledgeable of the menu selections including detailed questions I asked about the fine cuts of beef. I’ve previously been to The Continental but this dining experience rated among the very highest of some fine restaurants in Naples.
Menu, service and quality of offerings are all superb - my only reluctance to visit more often is the music choices. No one wants to hear hard rock music at an evening dinner - at a supposedly high end restaurant - save that for a pool hall in NJ. Match your ambiance (music choices) to the setting - everyone will enjoy it much more.
I have friends who will not dine here due to the abrasive/jarring music.
I think The Continental was having a bad night last night. 1st they limited the number of people who could enter the restaurant, but we had a reservation, so we were permitted to enter. However, they didn't seem to want to let us go to the bar to wait for our table. They sent someone to look at the bar who said there was no room for us to even order a drink. We did have to wait 5-10 minutes for our table, but didn't mind. Unfortunately, I think our server was overwhelmed or had too many tables to handle. He stopped by on occasion but not really enough. My petite filet mignon, which was supposed to be medium rare, arrived rare & I returned it. It was returned a 2nd time, still not cooked to medium rare. On the 3RD try, the inside it was finally medium rare, but the outside was cooked to a crisp. It looked like a little square of charcoal on my plate. At $40 I cringed. I had to cut off the outside & just eat the inside. Since it was a petite filet mignon, not much meat without the charred taste. I ordered a stuffed baked potato, which was huge & arrived warm, not hot. I didn't complain. I was hungry. The people (not the server) trying to get my steak right were very apologetic & to our surprise, picked up our entire food bill, my husband's dinner included. It was very nice of them to do that. I would have preferred the perfect steak. Also, the noise level was terrible. There was a guy playing a saxophone for maybe 1 song, while we were there. When he was playing it was impossible to hear the person next to you, with his loud music & the noise level to begin with. I guess when he started playing, anyone who wanted to talk to someone else had to shout to be heard making the noise worse. He played one song & we never heard any more music. We have been to The Continental in the past & had wonderful experiences. I have to say this was the worst experience. We're thankful they picked up most of our check, but it will be a while before we consider going back.
Great Place...a little noisy...but its 3rd street...would recommend..
Awful, we had reservations at 7:30pm and our food arrived 9pm
The food, the service were excellent. Seated in an inside dinning room was extremely noisy and lacked character. Next visit outside or not at all.
The food was amazing but the noise level was so much energetic.
We had to ask many times to lower the music because we could not listen the table conversation.
Amazing!! We love it
David is an outstanding server!! I believe he only works weekends however I’d certainly request him every time! The ambiance is awesome and quite unique, not to be missed! Unfortunately our food was so-so, considering the staggering prices we were shocked. Steaks are far better at Capital Grille and Chops. Two of us ordered the “Snake River Gold” and the “Snake River Silver” filets....both were flavorless, overcooked and under-whelming. The Bronzino was tremendous. The starters, salads and family style carrots, were surprisingly bland although the descriptions & ingredients sounded wonderful. Again....the ambiance is tremendous....as was our server David! Perhaps better to sit at the lively bar, take it all in and enjoy a burger. The 3 of us combined drank 2 cocktails & 2 glasses of wine (1 person drank bottled water) and ate the food described above...with tip, just shy of $500...staggering for the so-so food.
I know this is a steak place but. Hubby had branzino fish. I had swordfish and they were both super fresh and perfectly cooked. Delicious drinks and food. An unparalleled ambiance
Was great dinner have been several times since we moved here but this time seems better service, menu and bar tenders made it go from good to great for our dinner with my brother and his wife
Please upgrade your sound system. The small cheap jBL speakers sound terrible
Beautiful outdoor atmosphere with a good choice of menu items. The service was great and the food was delicious. I would recommend!
We sat at the bar and everything very good especially enjoyed Chelsea. Very engaging
Outstanding restaurant, food and service was amazing
Great food. The lobster salad was the best salad I’ve ever had. Server was very attentive. Nice outdoor atmosphere
Not happy with the 4% hospitality
Great dinner experience!!!
The many different pockets of vibe and ambiance make this restaurant so unique! The steak selection was superb. We started with the Bay Scallop Bourguignon and Steak Tartare, then rounded out our meal with an Australian Wagyu Porterhouse and potato gratin. All fantastic and would order again!
Always an amazing experience!
