Continental Naples Ratings and Reviews
My meal was great, I have soy and dairy allergy and they were awesome about it, our waiter George was awesome, super funny and very informative about the steaks and everything on the menu, as far as my husband goes, he wasn’t too happy, it was our anniversary dinner, his steak came over cooked and his beers were warm, and he wasn’t impressed, they did comp our drinks for the inconvenience, the place is great for people watching, and just a cute place on 5th Avenue, I will definitely go back, not so sure about my better half!
We visited for Naples Restaurant week. The Food was super, and service terrific.. We went for a birthday celebration and it was a really fun night. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a wonderful Naples dining experience. A 5 star experience!!
Celebrated a special birthday with my family.
Set us up with fantastic outdoor seating and wait staff was very attentive.
Menu had fantastic options and restaurant week pricing was a bonus ( not a factor when booking as I didn’t realize it was restaurant week)
Live music provided a nice ambiance without drowning out conversation. Was so good we stayed long after our meal. Fantastic evening overall. Thanks!
As others have noted you must sit at the bar to get happy hour drinks and specials. They do have an early bird special though.
We just went for their fabulous hamburgers so we had to paid full rate for everything.
Not quite a bait and switch but pretty close!
The Portions are a little bit too small but the food was really tasty 😋
We were satisfied because we had the early dining for the reasonable price.
Service was good.
The only complaint we have is about the music! Too loud and for this kind of restaurant a way too 'rocky'.
Some kind of lounge music would match much better .
As part time residents we will give them another try!
Always a treat. A5 Kobe Steak is not to be missed even if you have to save up. Unbelievably tender and no comparison against other Kobe imitators.
Great service from Chastity as always--always impressive when our favorite server and the restaurant know our preferences and have everything arranged.
Also suggest the creamed corn (not really creamed, but very cooked down) and the Octopus is one of the best in Naples.
Not to missed for steak, wine and great bar drinks.
We went for the Early Dining Special and the three of us had the steak and lobster. While the price was enticing ( $29.99 for salad, steak, lobster tail, asparagus and potato gratin) the food was disappointing. Caesar salad had way too much dressing. The steak was small (ok, we get it was lower price) and it was cooked to requested temps but all three were excessively charred on outside. Lobster and sides were ok but nothing special. Service was friendly, attentive and polite. Ambiance was excellent - incredibly beautiful spot to dine on 3rd Street.
Bottom line is I don’t think we’d return as we’d hate to spend twice as much for just a steak and have it taste the same.
It was our first time to go to Continental, which many friends recommended for their excellent steaks. My husband got bronzini, a seafood dish, and loved it.
I ordered a ribeye and the Brussels sprouts and was very disappointed with both. The ribeye was $46 alone and every bite was full of FAT. I kept spitting it into my napkin. The Brussels sprouts were shredded and so covered in some rich sauce that I Couldn’t even taste the Brussels sprouts. Would I go back there for a meal? No. Very overpriced meal and very fatty food. The outdoor courtyard was charming and nice atmosphere though, so I’d go back for a drink only and then go somewhere else for dinner.
We went for date night. The date night menu is a great value. A salad and entrée and an excellent dessert. The waiters were excellent . We had the steak and the meatloaf for entrées. The only disappointment was the steak entrée was just a steak no potatoes no vegetables.
Our night was just wonderful as always! No wait for our outdoor table. Beautiful courtyard setting - live music. Our server , Brittany, was very professional , attentive , knowledgeable about the menu & yet fun & upbeat. And we were not easy as we were seeing friends that we hadn’t seen since last season . So a lot of conversation & catching up was taking priority to ordering. But she was patient & came back mutiple times with a smile on her face & finally we gave her our order ! Great ambiance & food.
