Contigo Latin Kitchen presents an innovative take on Latin cuisine. Located in the Tucson foothills at the Westin La Paloma Resort, the menu features an array of unique dishes from Latin America and Spain using the freshest seasonal products.

When we opened Contigo in 2010, we wanted to create the kind of restaurant that we would like to have in our neighborhood. We included tapas dishes that are perfect for sharing plus amazing Latin dishes, spectacular cocktails and wine. Today, at the Westin La Paloma, Contigo also now features stunning city views, a beautiful and inviting space, great music and a friendly and attentive team dedicated to keeping our customers happy.

    We were disappointed. We had a reservation and were seated more than a half hour late. The noise level was way too loud for any significant conversation. Servers were great. They gave us free drinks for having to wait! And free desserts for our birthdays! Food was OK, not great.

    An absolute favorite in Tucson! We literally dine there almost weekly! A delightful bar area for a pre dinner cocktail and lovely indoor and outdoor dining to enjoy spectacular food and service. Our wait person was Emily and she did a fabulous job!

    We go here often. On this occasion we had requested a patio table, covered, for my birthday celebration with friends. Despite being guaranteed the table when we visited beforehand, it was unavailable because of weather. But the manager responded perfectly, and our night was saved by his grace. The food is always amazing, and the service truly enjoyable. Don't miss this if you are in Tucson.

    Very good paella, fish tacos, and a good variety of tapas. Great deck seating in good weather, a bit noisy inside on busy nights. Attentive service and good mojitos. Reasonable pricing.

    The atmosphere was lovely and the service was ok (we had to wait for a while a few times, and got help from staff other than our waiter due to his absence). The food was ok. The menu offers some of Latin American food staples. The drinks were very authentic and good (caipirinha and mojito). We ordered the calamari frito for appetizer, but thought that the batter was too heavy and greasy. The beet salad had a wonderful dressing, but the beets were overcooked and overtly soft. The moqueca was well made, but lacked salt and a little heat. The flourless chocolate cake was extremely rich and a little too sweet.

    The grouper special was excellent. The fish was served on a bed of cauliflower puree which was delicious. My dining companion had fish tacos and enjoyed them too. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.

    I have been to this restaurant about 6 times. The first was for a catered party and food was excellent. Since then each time has been worse than the one before. This last experience leaves me convinced not to return. The food was mediocre but highly priced. We waited one hour for entrees that were tepid and/or not prepared as requested. Our table wobbled and waitstaff seemed overwhelmed. We watched several tables arrive after us but get their meals before us. You need new management and a revamp of your server training

    As always, the food at Contigo is excellent. High quality ingredients, dishes that are not found in other restaurants, as well as beautiful views from two different patios. The ceviche is especially wonderful, very filling, appropriately spicy and totally delicious. The Pescado Veracruzan is also reliably satisfying. Six people and all of us very pleased with food and table as well as the winelist that includes Tucson's best selection of Spanish and South American wines. The only disappointment this time was the waiter. In our many past visits the waiters have been helpful, welcoming, and knowledgable. This visit, the waiter was quite professional and competent, but not in the least welcoming. Everything he did was very perfunctory. Good service, but no warmth.

    Excellent service and food. The waiters are all really friendly and always around, the chef knows what he’s doing and serve large portions that justify the price. Ambience is rustic and Spanish just as advertised. 10/10 would recommend!

    Six friends (3 couples) gathered recently for dinner on the patio. The heaters kept us very comfortable. Our server was patient knowledgeable and friendly. We all loved our different entrees and wines selections. Another thoroughly enjoyable meal (s). Cant wait to return

    This was our second time dinning here and will defiantly go back. I do have to make two comments though we had the calamari great flavor but overly greasy as were the fry's. We love chimichurri but does lack a little flavor. The Ribeye was wonderful flavor and juicy. We also had the ceviche and beat salad wonderful that would be my go to. Next time will try the another dish.

    We try to go to Contigo whenever we have plans to eat out in Tucson. The quality of the food and the menu choices are excellent. We sat inside when last there, and although I prefer to sit on the patio, it was absolutely lovely. Our server was personable and professional. It made for an excellent evening.

    Some of the worst fish dishes I’ve ever had. I seriously could not determine what type of fish, or maybe it was a combination of chicken, that was served. I was told it was Grouper and Mahi Mahi… maybe in another life it was.

    My husband and I love this restaurant! We decided to take out of town guests here for an amazing experience. Once again it was great! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the sparkle of the city lights! Our guests had the tacos Contigo and the steak. I had the special fish and my husband chose the Tacos Contigo. Everyone raved about their meal. Our server was attentive but a little dramatic and interrupted our conversation often. Overall a very memorable night!

    The Contigo Latin Kitchen is at the Westin Paloma. We were seated outdoors, with an amazing view of Tucson at night. Warm bread (mmmm) and a spicy garlic oil were brought to the table. We started our meal sharing a Ceviche Lima, which was delicious (and spicy). And then moved on to tacos. We ordered two dishes: Tacos Contigo (Braised short rib tacos with grilled tomato salsa, house-made pickled onions, jalapeño, rice, and beans), and Fish Tacos (Baja style - flash fried white fish, with tortillas Lime aioli slaw, pickled onion, rice, and black beans). Note: the beans are made with lard, and we think the rice has a chicken broth base). The tacos were tasty and fresh. Leftovers became lunch the next day. Eating outdoors, the sound level was minimal. I'm not sure how noisy indoor seating would be. The service was excellent and attentive (water refills, checking in to see if everything was to our liking).
