We showed up and they did not honor our reservation. They said they had blocked out the date with open table. The manager seated us quickly. I was very happy how they handled the situation
Great place to grab a drink and meal before a Michigan game! Perfect location and short walk to the stadium. Although, they did not accept our Open Table reservation - someone needs to update this - either you or them. They don't take reservations on game days. Fortunately, we were there early enough in the day that we got a table.
Absolutely the worst service I've had in a restaurant or bar. Brought the app the soup and entrees out at the same time. Then just left them with what am I supposed to do I'm new , really. Manager was a joke I'll buy your beer but I'm going to put your food under heat lamp. What a joke. Never going there again. So disappointing because I used to really enjoy the place.
We were in Michigan for a football game the following day. We went out for dinner and drinks. We made a reservation and were happy to see that in a full restaurant we were still seated right away. The service was ridiculously fast! We never once had to wait to order a drink. The food was delicious and I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for great service and amazing food.
Conor O'Neill's was a great place to eat dinner after a hard day of moving our daughter into her dorm at Umich. Comfort food (Fish and Chips, Chicken Pot Pie) and a variety of menu offerings that appealed to everyone's taste. Priced right. Great location. You can't go wrong.
The food and service were outstanding and the Sunday night Irish music was a great treat
Conner is a great server and good is good, modest and quick
What a wonderful and friendly staff who took time to engage with my son as he was preparing to attend his freshman orientation at UMichigan. Our waitress, a recent Michigan grad was incredibly helpful about sharing her experience.
Great setting for Father's Day, including the etched "Happy Father's Day" Guinness glass. Food was very good, especially as recommended by our server. Added bonus was the traditional Irish music session that started shortly after we sat down. Definitely a favorite place for us. Thanks!
A traditional Irish Pub with all the ambiance and delicious food and beer that entails. Highly recommend if you love Celtic fun and Irish flavor.
The mussel appetizer was incredible.
Excellent fish and chips and chicken pot pie.
Large portions. Waiter was a very nice kid.
We enjoyed Conor O'Neil's very much after a long time staying away. The Fisherman's Pie was marvelous "comfort food" - so yummy! The wait staff was friendly and attentive - adorable!
The food was good and the service was quick. It was very noisy when we got there, but that didn't last too long since it calmed down after the game was done.
We were out for a birthday & Mother's Day dinner. (3) of us ordered wine. To pay $14 for a 5oz glass of house wine (lets get at least an 8oz glass guys) seemed a bit stiff though I know they are more known for their beers - just not what we were looking for.
The Corned Beef was pretty chewy but the cabbage was great. The Fish & Chips was plenty but not much flavor. The Shepherd's Pie was fabulous! We ordered an appetizer (fried Brie was wonderful!) which was almost delivered the same time the meals were.
We wanted a relaxing evening. Our reservation was at 7pm, we got our check at 7:45pm.......way way too fast. We even commented to our waitress when the food was delivered that the food came way too fast. We never got a chance to talk or pause between the courses. Will there be a next time? Not sure.
What an awesome place on Main St. in AA. Very versatile layout allows for a great mix of bar scene with live music as well as restaurant dining for a date or with a family .
The food was great, lots of choices to fit any taste and the traditional Irish choices are both authentic and tasty.
I can't wait to get back again soon!
A must visit whenever we go to Ann Arbor!
Top notch food and service. Can't go wrong with the chicken pot pie and a black & tan. Will definitely go back again in the future.
CrossBow had the entire venue hopping! A lot of patrons clapping along and stomping their feet to high-energy Celtic tunes. Hope to see CrossBow again soon at the pub!
We were seated promptly when we arrived. There was minimal wait for a server to arrive at our table who was very attentive. The food came out quickly and all 3 meals were very hot which we don't find very often. I had the shepherds pie and was very pleased with it. We had an excellent evening and look forward to returning.
Had really good experience at Conor O'Neill's. The server was attentive, the food was excellent and our group of six did not have to shout over any DJ/Jukebox while catching up. I would recommend this place to anyone. Seating is so that just about any size of get together can be accommodated .
Conor O'Neil's is never a disappointment! I always look forward to being able to get a traditional cider from the tap and the food being yummy :)
First time here, loved the look, nice and inviting. Food was average and while the server was nice, he didn't make an effort to check on our table often. We had to flag him down every time we wanted another drink. We will def give this place another try though
Dinner and show were put in an unlively - separate room despite reservation made 30 days in advance. Very disappointed!
Our first time there and we really enjoyed it. Will be back!
Best fish and chips and onion rings anywhere.Great atmosphere traditional Irish Pub.When we are in town we make sure that we stop by for dinner.Great Big House Burger .Meals are always fresh ,hot and delicious.Staff is wonderful .Its a must to stop in.See you again when we are in Ann Arbor.
A fun place to share a few beers and great authentic fish and chips for a birthday dinner. The traditional Irish jam session was nice, too, though not all that audible despite a pretty small crowd.
I booked for a table of 8 and arrived to find out there really was no table ready. We put together two tables for our party.
waiter was good but we ended up bussing our own table. Perhaps they were short-staffed.
but the food was good and it was a nice evening overall
It was a very busy night. Hostess, manager, and servers were very accommodating with a table change request. Food was great.
Excellent fish and chips! Loved the ambiance and food selection.
Excellent food and service. Only complaint is that a family with 5 small children was seated next to us after we had begun our meal. Noise level was terrible and really interfered with our dinner conversation.
Part of our party was running a little late and had time constraints, but the staff was SUPER accomodating and got them in and out in a perfect amount of time! I had the seafood shepherd's pie; I really enjoyed it! Everyone was happy with their selections.
The service was horrible. It took over 15 minutes for our server to come get drink orders and another 20 minutes to get 3 glasses of water and 1 beer, and another 50 minutes for our food to come out & only 2 dishes came out. It took about 10 minutes for the other entrees to come out. The food was cold on top of it.
Food was great! Service not so much. Server not familiar with menu, rushed us to be done and pay . Very comfortable atmosphere.
We always enjoy the place. The food is great. Good comfort food. Older crowd until early evening and then switches at about 9 pm.
They do a great job. Food is good and the prices are also very good.
Great meal for Restaurant week! They were understaffed which caused service to be a bit slow-not typical for this place.
Stopped in for Ann Arbor Restaurant week, and the food was fantastic! Good atmosphere, staff was nice but service was a bit slow, even giving them a break for the business that restaurant week brings in. Overall, a great experience and we're excited to go back and try more of the menu!
I have eaten here often during restaurant week and regularly. This was for RW and found the switch to appetizer and dessert samplers a huge disappointment. It really impacted the quality and appreciation of the two. Doesn't sell you on the food. Better to have one full app and dessert to share and downsize the main entres. The old way would gain you customers, the bites thing is a mess.
The 4 of us were there for Restaurant week because the menu was outstanding! We were expecting meager portions but they were generous! The beer sampler was over the top and included in the fixed price. We were seated right by the fireplace and we love that location. The waitstaff was super and we didn't feel rushed at all. The desert and appetizer were platters of choices; and the main entree selection was extensive. The portions were large! We had macaroni, corn beef, Ruben sandwich, and fish and chips. Everyone of us enjoyed our meals.
Food was great, especially the sampling of appetizers. Only problem was that the service was a little slow - and the restaurant was very noisy with loud talking and laughing.
