Connolly's Pub and Restaurant - 54th

Excellnt restaurant. Had lunch and dinner while in city. Food was beyond delicious . Recommend fish and chips dumplings. Service excellent

Good basic food at a fair price ( for NYC ) Our server was attentive & was aware of our 8pm show time at City Center. Would eat there again if in that vicinity.

Service could not have been more attentive.food well prepared,fairly priced and we sat for 2 hours to catch up after a10 year break in a friendship..rare to find a place that doesn’t RUSH you in midtown.!! Definitely return!

It's a nice, friendly, cozy place to get a good meal at a reasonable price.

A perfect location for our show at the NY City Center-We were greeted by a friendly host who checked in to make sure everything was good. Waiter was attentive. We ordered the classic dishes: fish & chips and Shepard's Pie. Very good and the portions were large. Overall a great experience and would definitely return.

Food was good. They seated us near the stairs downstairs. The noise from the bar was very loud. Service was good and the cost was about average for NYC.

Connolly’s delivers good food and service, consistently, at reasonable prices in a lively setting. I’ve been a satisfied customer while on business and on weekends for years and recommend them to friends and family often.

Good food!!

I only had the mashed potatoes and iced tea. Both very good. My companions had more substantial food and seemed to really like it. Nice vibe to the place. Very personable and efficient staff. Clean enough bathroom. We were there at 5:00 on a Saturday evening and it was quiet, but I imagine it gets noisier later in the evening. The carpet could use changing.

Host, bartender, servers were all incredibly polite. The Irish know how to make you smile and feel at ease!
Food was good - what you’d expect in an Irish bar. No complaints. Very Good happy hour specials (especially for midtown NYC).
Friend ordered a burger rare and actually got it rare - a seemingly difficult thing these days.
Would definitely revisit. Great people working here!

Dinner after a visit to MOMA

Service absolutely wonderful. Pub looked very authentic. Between the charm of the waiter and the ambiance, I felt as though I were in Ireland. The problem for me was that I like to eat low-fat, healthful food and the menu has almost no items that fit that bill. I ordered a Greek salad. I know that this is the wrong thing to order in an Irish pub, but i wanted something healthy. It was very, very mediocre. I ordered the house balsamic vinaigrette instead of the feta vinaigrette that it come with. The dressing was inedible. I tasted a friend's black pudding and it was delicious.

I would recommend Connolly's for the Irish pub experience, but warn those who are watching the calories that this is not the right place.

We enjoyed the place, the people & the food. Everyone was so accommodating. We already highly recommended. Very satisfied, can’t wait to go back.

Great lunch place!

This was my first experience dining at Connolly"s Pub and Restaurant. I was looking for a place close to Studio 54 where I was attending a matinee. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed Connolly's. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed listening to them speak with their Irish brogue. The burgers we ordered were cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were yummy! Connolly's has a nice menu with something for everyone. The pub was quieter than most restaurants that are close to the theater district and we weren't rushed. Service was terrific and our waiter was very attentive. Connolly's has two other restaurants within a 3 mile radius and it's obvious why they are so successful.

Picked Chicken pot pie, dough was undercooked and not edible. A person a couple tables away was a very loud talker and very distruptive. Unlikely will go back.

We love Connolly’s on 54th St. Roanon the host makes us feel welcome immediately - a true Irish host. The food and service are always excellent and although the portions are substantial we always manage to clean our plates. In a neighborhood of easily found tourist traps this is a wonderful home.

This is a very friendly, relaxing and atmospheric place for a pre-theater lunch or dinner. The food portions are very generous; you won't go away hungry.

Wonderful food, great service, all around great place

This is our fourth visit and let me say it never disappoints. The N.Y. strip was fantastic and every time we have been there we have always had a great conversation with the owner. This is. A great place!

We requested seating upstairs, where it was mostly empty and quiet. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was good, but not special. However, I will return and give it a second try.

Come to Connolly’s for a casual business lunch or break in a day of shopping or visiting midtown museums. I’ve eaten here 20+ times and have always left feeling well-treated. The food is good, reasonably priced for midtown and the service is spot on. See you soon!
