Connolly's Pub and Restaurant - 54th Ratings and Reviews
We had tickets to a show at Radio City so I first chose there due to its proximity to Radio City, and then the name. I wanted a real New York Irish restaurant and was not disappointed. Service was excellent, and my Shepard's Pie was perfect. Best of all we never felt rushed to eat, and make room for the next customer. My wife and I only visit the city maybe twice a year, and it was great to sit and relax over our meal. Thanks for a great visit.
We visited Connolly's Pub on a recent visit to NYC. We were headed to Radio City after dinner so it was a perfect location--right around the corner! We have a large family and we were running late for our reservation but they got us seated quickly and even put a rush on our food so we wouldn't be late for the show. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was good, and the food was delicious!
We have eaten here before and the Irish food never disappoints. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate us even though they were busy. The only dissatisfaction we had was with our waiter who must have been having a bad day because he did not smile once and he kept neglecting us. That being said our Bangers and Mash were delicious.
We visit Connolly's each time we are in the city. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. They are always checking to make sure all is ok with not only your table, but your food and service as well. They are super nice to kiddos too! The food is a great value for what you get. Everything is so fresh and delicious. The amount of food will leave you with leftovers too! I highly recommend Connolly's if you are in the city! You will not be sorry!
The waiter was very attentive and went out of his way to accommodate special order requests. The Manager, stopped by on 3 occasions to make sure all was well. The 4th person in our group was late and the Manager was especially clued into that situation. He stood inside the entrance, ready to ensure our 4th member found us easily! I chose Connolly's as we had been there a few years ago and enjoyed it!
1st - We made the reservation thru open table, but when we got there they had no table for 7 people. Ok, at least they had 2 tables for us. 2nd - One bill came back missing a 10 dollars bill. They assume the mistake, gave us back the 10 dollars, and a few "October pink" things to compensate. The good thing was the restaurant is right near to the MoMa entrance.
Good food, nice place .
Only 3 channels on upstairs TV .
The host was fantastic ! He helped with my daughters stroller and getting a high chair . Very nice guy , he also helped us with directions and attractions for the area museums and shopping will return just for him!
Great variety of menu items to choose from. Tasty food at a great price. Cozy. Excellent staff interaction. Waitress was delightful. Manager was interested in our comfort and happiness throughout our stay. You don't see that too much and that was enjoyable.
We had a group of 8, with two 13 year olds, before a Carnegie Hall performance on an early Saturday evening,. Half the group was an hour late and they let us hold the table and didn't seem angry at all. Food was fine - nothing exotic, but tasty and generous portions. We were seated upstairs, and it was cozy. We'll go back.
came here for lunch. We were seated promptly. Waitress insisted on taking our order really quickly "before the kitchen backed up". At first I appreciated her helping us get out in a reasonable amount of time. 45 minutes later our food had still not arrived and I had leave.
