Connolly's Pub and Restaurant - 45th
The fish and chips were delicious. The wait staff were attentive and efficient.
Great Irish Pub and excellent food beyond normal pub fare!
the people serving us were fantastic, courteous as can be. The food was great! My turkey burger fantastic my wife's salad fantastic. My one criticism was that it was too noisy because of the sports TVs. I would rather that the restaurant part had no TV and the TVs were just in the bar.
Love going here after seeing a show. The staff is always so friendly & the food is very good.
Food is consistently good, and the staff is very accommodating to allergies. Great for pre-theater meals. Great value for the money in Times Square. Also has an elevator in case you are on crutches or dining with the disabled/elderly.
Delightful atmosphere and service ... very good pub menu ... great fish and chips!
Went for breakfast. The food was well prepared. The atmosphere was charming.
The service was very helpful and friendly …. and my entrée was delicious as well as our dessert. We both enjoyed the atmosphere and our excellent meal. Would go back again for sure.
It was just the perfect spot for a lunch before the theater. It was not loud and it was dark and cool on a hot, sunny day in NYC. The menu was varied and our choice turned out to be a special - $16. Could not beat that ! Loved it and will return.
We enjoyed our lunch. My salad was especially good.
I'm happy with my choice of Connolly's Pub for our pre show dinner. We had the specials of crab cakes and lobster wraps and were happy with our choices.
WE ARRIVED LATE FOR OUR RESERVATION AND NEEDED TO BE SERVED RAPIDLY IN ORDER TO GET TO THE THEATER ON TIME. THE STAFF WAS VERY COOPERATIVE AND ALL WAS WELL.
Excellent service! Fantastic food great place to meet!!
Incredibly fast service. Quality of food was excellent on some dishes and so so on others. For example, the smoked salmon appetizer was superb and the burger was pretty good and the Cobb salad was exceptional. However the calamari was not so good. Drinks were fine, but a bit overpriced for a pub.
Great food and desserts! Just wish we were in town to experience St. Patrick’s Day .. I bet it is s blast here!
The warm pretzels are the best!!
Good food with GF options. My ribs and fries were delivious
The menu was a nice surprise because there were so many food items to pick from. Our server was extremely attentive and made our lunch experience even more enjoyable.
Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was good and our waitress was so personable!!! They also have a 3rd floor deck where you can eat outside.
Was very upset with our table. The restaurant was crowded and there was only one table available and it was nest the kitchen entrance. We left and went to the competition next door.
Shepherds pie just ok. Would try something else next time.
Great place to stop before or after the theater. The service was great and the fish and chips was excellent. Thanks to Joe for taking care of us.
It was beautiful weather day which made it
perfect for rooftop dining. Service was great and service very good. Only bad thing was elevator was not working to go up so we had to walk the 4 flights. Did work on the way down though.
Great place to go for a good pre-theatre meal: very good food, very reasonable prices for both food and drinks, and very good service!
Friendly staff and we were greeted, seated promptly with our open table reservation. Typical NYC pricing; really delicious and fresh salads! Beautiful wood trim throughout the downstairs. Noisy as you would expect in a pub, but still were able to converse in a normal voice at our table.
Our table was by a window so we could watch the street activity. Food was delicious. Wait staff very pleasant. Would highly recommend as it is close to the theater district
Great food and friendly staff
Lunch on a Saturday for seven ws easily handled by the restaurant. We were seated even though our entire party had not yet arrived. Briona, our waitress was fantastic and very accommodating.
Had a large table right next to us. Way too loud. Food was just ok.
Just decided to stop in for some drinks and appetizers on our way to the Theatre and it was surprisingly good. Will definitely go back.
Touristy. If you want to grab a beer it’s a good place to go with friends. Not meant for serum
We ordered a couple of drinks (beer and cocktail) and the Irish beef stew and shepherd's pie. Everything was great and the food not only came quickly but was piping hot. Love it! The server recommended the chocolate chip lava cake and she was right. It is quite rich but the chocolate lava is to die for. Service was excellent, in fact I felt they checked on us too many times. We were in and out within 50 min. If that's what you're after, before a theater performance maybe, give them a try.
Recommended by a friend but was pretty underwhelming, no real Irish charm, had run out of several of the craft beers early in the evening midweek. I'm sure there are better Irish bars in NYC.
Great place to eat. Reasonable prices.
Didn't feel packed in like sardines which is often the case at NYC pubs.
Quiet restaurant early in the day. Good service and food.
This is one of our must go to restaurants when we go to NYC. We always have a great meal. The service is wonderful.
Great rooftop venue for our family gathering after a College Graduation Ceremony held at Madison Square Garden
Outdoor roof deck was perfect for lunch on a beautiful day before a matinee! Great salads!
Great value and prices were extremely reasonable for the city. Greeted by such a friendly hostess. Burgers were great and place was only 1 block from our show. Service was excellent! Very attentive! Bathroom was very clean too! Would definitely return!
