Con Murphy's Irish Pub
Con Murphy's have created a menu to please all palates from the traditional Shepherds Pie (made with Lamb) & Fish'n'Chips to NY Strip Steaks & the local favorite Philly Cheesesteak. There is always a nice selection of seafood available also. Items such as She Crab Soup, Housemade Hummus, Reuben & Chicken Pot Pie are popular dishes with the locals. Of course an Irish pub isn't authentic without a traditional Irish Breakfast which is available on the breakfast menu that is served 7 days a week along with other morning-time favorites.
Great food, excellent atmosphere! Enjoyed a wonderful meal. Our waitress, LaDonna, was awesome!
Wow the grouper piccata was excellent! My group grew slightly and were easily accommodated upstairs. Noise level low enough to have good conversation. Everyone loved their food.
Just a great place to stop . The service is great, the food is always on target and the prices are reasonable for the city. A bonus is the entertainment
Always great food and drinks. Service was surprisingly a little slow, considering it wasn’t very busy.
The food was very good and the waitress was great. Excellent location near several attractions with cheap parking garage right next door.
The best fish and chips I've had in a long while, and I eat a lot of fish and chips. We sat upstairs and the crowd at the bar was doing shots and taking selfies, which made them even louder than before. Couldn't hear my date talk. Still a great place. Service was great, and the drafts were mainly Irish, which for an Irish pub is a no brainer. We also had a great Bloody Mary earlier in the morning which was lovingly made with jet fuel. Loved it.. It is a good place right off of the Parkway. And a good value.
It's a bar with table service. Cozy and nice place to grab a meal and beer. The waitress was super nice and the food was delicious as well as beer!
Food was average. A great band was playing
Service was great really enjoyed the Godiva Chocolate Creme Brulee
Myself and my husband ordered the "chef's special" of fish and chips. It was horrible. Obviously was frozen and then deep fried. French fries were not crisp and greasy. Overall neither of us finished it because it was not good. And if you're looking for a place to have a conversation, don't go here. It was beyond loud. Basically shouted the entire dinner.
Food and service were great. It was packed since it was St. Patty's Day. The specialty menu of traditional food was a hit with my family
The food was delicious, as always! The live music always makes for a very fun atmosphere!
Good food, good value, great service. A little noisy but overall a great place.
Good spot. A little small on the first floor, but the service and food were great.
The food was good, space is nice, and the service was okay (never got a refill on my water)
First time at an Irish pub. The drinks where amazing but the food is over priced and portioned small. Service was exceptional, the waitress was very nice but took a while to come back to the table. This is an ideal spot for an happy hour
First time at Con Murphy, and pleasantly pleased with the food and restaurant. The apps were delicious and very good entree options.
Dinner before a show. They could use an area for Uber/Lyft/Taxis to pull up to, but it’s a good location.
The place looks beautiful really liked the ambience but the food was not good! Our waitress legit kept forgetting our drinks, she gave us coffee and we had to ask 3x for creamers and more sugar. She came back with them after almost 20mins! She forgot my friends orange juice he got after he ate his meal! She forgot my appetiser and personally I would never go there again. Very disappointed!
A wonderful dinner with the family! The food hit the right notes and the service made for a relaxing experience.
Waitress was very pleasant and food was outstanding
Four diners, four meals, one thought theirs was great (salmon) two were disappointed (burger and beef stew). Three desserts, and two disappointed (cheesecake and Grand Marnier creme brulee). It was a Saturday night, but this was pub food, so... I wouldn't go back.
A neat little Irish Pub. Great parking for $6 as the validate. They have music Thu - Sun. Guinness Stew gets thumbs up.
Service was not very attentive but food was great!
Con Murphy's was the perfect spot for a bite to eat after attending the German Christmas Village. It was close and easy to find. Food was great. They were very accommodating to leave out ingrediants or add an ingrediant to their menu items. Nicely paced meal. Food tasted fantastic. Everything seemed homemade. My fish taco's were very fresh and tasted great! Pierogies were fantastic as were the flatbreads. Would recommend!
Disappointing. I've eaten here in the past and it was much better. How can you screw up nachos? Find out here. The grouper piccata entree had this icky mucus-like glaze over it. Our server was very good and so was the beer. That's it.
Food was delicious. Great beer selection. Great service. There are TVs well placed for most seats to watch a game. It is an awesome Pub atmosphere.
Very noisy . Good service. Tasty Shepherds Pie.
Annoyed that there was a charge for bread. Still can’t believe that an Irish Pub doesn’t serve Irish Soda bread.
This was my first visit. I found it easy to locate. Parking was nearby, but overpriced. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The noise level was a little high but expected. Being upstairs helped a little. I will recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
I am happy to hear you enjoyed your first visit here! Yes, we have parking located just a few steps away, right next door on 17th street in the form of a parking garage. The noise can get a little high, being a relatively small space with a large happy hour and dinner crowd, but the upstairs definitely tends to be a bit quieter. We hope to have you in again Gordon!
Always think of this restaurant as a go to when meeting friends - service and food are always consistent.
Nachos were kinda gross.
Food was good but not great for the pricetag. The service really is what ruined our visit. We barely saw our waitress and when we were able to flag her down she had no personality and seemed be in a rush to be done with our table.
Loaded Nachos were great. Good location. Nice Staff.
It’s called a Pub, but the quality of the food is equivalent to a 4 star restaurant. Choices were abundant and there are many choices for both the carnivore and the vegan. We will be back many times, maybe even tonight!
Great lunch spot or after work for happy hour. A must try if you’ve never been there yet
My wife and I stayed at the Windsor Suites for our anniversary and decided to give Con Murphy's a try. We both were very much delighted by the delicious food and huge portions. We had to take some home despite being very hungry when we came. We also came for breakfast and it was delicious too. My wife highly recommends the Belgian waffle and I had the American breakfast which was very tasty . We both highly recommend the loaded nachos, the chicken tenders and the steak which was fork tender and bursting with flavor. The service was fast and friendly. We definitely will be back.
First time there and if your a beer drinker it’s the place to go.
Made our reservation easily through OpenTable a few days before my visit to the city for work. Super easy! We came 30 minutes early and they were able to seat us immediately. Food was excellent. I knew we were in good hands from the moment I asked our waitress what I should eat off the menu and she immediately started sharing her favorite items from the menu. Prices were reasonable and the amount of food was insane.I typically don't finish a meal especially with these size portions, but the food was so good I found myself needing to finish it. I would highly recommend this place!
Delicious meal! In our group, we had 2 Reuben sandwiches, fish and chips, and Max’s Mac and cheese with spare ribs. Everyone loved their meal. If I lived here in the area, I would definitely eat here again. Very tasty!!
