We’ve been going to committee for a couple years now, and unfortunately just had our first bad experience. Normally food and service are on point! Rocky night started after being placed at a high top, despite having asked not to be (elderly parents in town for the holidays that struggle with getting in/out of high top seats), hosts were pretty unhelpful. Menu has been narrowed pretty considerably, removing a fair number of our favorites and prices have steeply risen. Food that we did order was solid though (Bao are still great)! Wine menus has also been skimmed down, and has any useful descriptions removed (one example is “if a white wine took molly”. Funny, but not really helpful…). I’m guessing that it was busier than they expected or someone called out sick cause service struggled. Didn’t get our wine until we were almost done with dinner, was never able to get the extra pita we requested. All in all a bit of a let down, especially given how great they have been in the past.

I had the lamb chops and eggs and they were okay. Eggs had little to no salt or seasoning on them (healthy if you want that). The lamb wasn’t bad either, a little fatty in areas but what good meat isn’t. Came with home fries that were just sliced potatoes. Also little to no seasoning. Strong pour on the mimosa, which I was a fan of.

It was our first time at Committee and it will not be our last. The place was large with a great layout, large bar and lounge areas, and plenty of seating. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the food was outstanding. We are looking forward to getting back sooner than later.

Visited Committee for a birthday celebration, as I noted on the reservation as well as the confirmation. Food was good. Service was good although a little rushed. However, nothing about the dinner spoke special occasion/celebration/birthday meal. I ordered dessert and while I don’t like a lot of fanfare, I was hoping for a candle or simple “happy birthday” to acknowledge the occasion. Committee should not ask for the occasion when taking the reservation if they do not in any way acknowledge it. Do not go to this restaurant for a birthday, anniversary, or anything other than an expensive meal.

We couldn’t drink any cocktail because we didn’t bring our passports and nobody told us that was needed (we were a group of 30 year olds btw and we have gone to other restaurants where they don’t ask us for a passport to be able to drink)

As one of our party (aged 91) commented, we were probably the only people in the restaurant over aged 50. So, my review should be judged by the fact that we are not the intended audience. That said, the ambience is cool, though the techno music is quite loud. The food was good, but not great. It's nice to see innovative takes on Greek classics, like onion pie, vegetarian mousaka, etc., but they were really not nearly as good as what one gets at a traditional Greek taverna. It was really good to see such a broad selection of Greek wines. Our excellent server had great recommendations. All in all, i would recommend the Committee for younger people into a scene rather than people looking for great Greek food.

Everything we got at Committee was delicious! The halibut and pork chop were cooked perfectly. The onion pie was one of the best dishes I’ve had. The cocktails were also great. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!

Out of town guests. We wanted somewhere fun. Food is very tasty. Cocktails are a very small however. The larger plates (fried chicken and pork chop) are the size of a full entree. Service was wonderful.

This was my second time visiting Committee and my first time trying their highly-praised brunch. Their brunch menu is one of the more unique and exciting in the Boston area, with great Mediterranean-influenced options like a breakfast gyro which my partner loved. Several days later I am still thinking about the spanakopita grilled cheese that I chose. Cocktails were tasty and original. Will definitely be coming back here for the unique cuisine and laid-back vibe!

Amazing food. Our waiter Clay was excellent, made great recommendations and provided fantastic service. The highlights for us were the feta, spanakopita dumplings and the pork chop!
