Fried Green Tomatoes
aioli & hot sauce
Food options were limited and not very good on Mother’s day. The food was ok, but not for $250. I could of gone to Another Broken Egg and received similar food options for half the cost. The service was ok. There were gnats, mosquitoes, and flies everywhere. We eat there often and it’s the First time ever being disappointed at commerce kitchen.
Mother’s Day Brunch the portions were unbelievably small for the price and the service was not good
we love Commerce Kitchen on most days, but this Mother's Day Brunch was a very disappointing experience. Food, service, table, attitude of the hostess i think was in charge was much below their standard. We won't be back there for special days.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, and wonderful service. The only drawback is that the meal portions were a little bit smaller than I was expecting.
Great food and service
I am very grateful that they were able get us in earlier than our expected reservation. Service was a little awkward in that our server made no suggestions and seemed a little unsure of the proper points of service. Our meal was very tasty and came out as we were finishing our appetizers. The seasonal vegetable pasta could have used more vegetables. my guest chose it because he abstains from meat. He was a little disappointed that the only vegetables were just a small portion on top that seemed to be more for garnish than substance. We realize that they probably are more accustomed to guests adding meat. This is one of the instances where a seasoned server would have taken the opportunity to upsell a protein or learn that my friend was a vegetarian and used the opportunity to wow by making sure it had more veggies. The creme brulee and cheesecake were delicious, but the chocolate chip pecan pie was a major let down. Honestly, it tasted like it came from a box in the freezer. We didn't taste the bourbon or the chocolate chips in the pie itself. Having said that, it was still a lovely meal and we will be back. With the current social and work environment brought on by covid19, I am trying to be more gracious when dining out, but overall the experience was not what one would typically expect of a Boyce concept.
Great service, good food. They have discontinued “bread service”—i.e., no bread with your meal. Huh?
We had a delightful evening enjoying Sunday Supper," a limited (but ample) menu of choices with all the fixings. Our waitress Aurielle was great!
Had a reservation and was seated as soon as we arrived. We were seated in the middle of the dining area indoors. Had a very loud table on one side that took away from the ambience of the experience. The food was good but not great.
Great service. Great food. Great location.
Commerce Kitchen is always great food and good variety.
We went to Commerce Kitchen to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Our service was good and the food was pretty good as well.
Great food and professional service! One of my favorite restaurants for several years.
Excellent food! But waitstaff wasn’t very attentive.
Service was great and food was delicious! Only complaint was that the music went off for a bit, when it came back on it was too low which was unfortunate because there were 2 groups of 7 nearby that were super loud! Thanks for a great date night overall!
Red snapper was tough and hardly edible
fabulous! Fried Green Tomatoes were the best ever!
Sunday “family style” dinner was delicious. $35/person includes three appetizers, main dish with three sides and dessert. Everything was incredible. Patio seating with heaters was perfect for a low 60’s evening.
The drinks and food were fabulous! The NY Strip and Pan Seared Red Snapper were both amazing and even better than we expected them to be! We will definitely be back! Forgot to take pictures of the food but everything was plated beautifully and tasted even better than it looked!
Great food and service! The table was ready when I arrived and the hostess was very friendly. Everything was clean and inviting. The wait staff was helpful and pleasant. Everyone was attentive and efficient.
We love Commerce Kitchen, the food is outstanding and the service is wonderful I just wish they served some kind of bread even if we had to pay for it!!!
The food and service was great !
Seating was prompt, privacy of booth was quite accommodating. Service was hospitable and attentive. Food was delicious and the experience was very pleasant.
Wonderful lunch! Since I had not had breakfast, I opted for a he petite filet with a fried egg on top. Nice, juicy and quiet large filet. So flavorful and tender. I will be having that again!!!!
As usual, the experience at Commerce Kitchen was fantastic! I had friends in from out of town. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful evening. Jeremy was an awesome server!! Love him! I loved the Sunday menu as well. My salmon was perfectly cooked and sides were the perfect compliment.
Waited over 20 minutes for someone to ask for our drink order. Steak was blue when we received it and the shrimp was so over-cooked it was rubbery. The waitress might have came into our section three times the entire time we were there. Hoping this experience was just a fluke because our previous experiences at Commerce Kitchen were fantastic.
Had to send my meal back because my filet wasn't prepared how I ordered and so I was the last one eating with out party.
This was my third visit to Commerce Kitchen. Usually the service is great. This time it was terrible. We ordered drinks and apps when we sat down. 15 minutes later the waiter dropped by to take our entree order, after we finished eating the apps. We ran out of drinks and had to flag our server down.
The food was lackluster and my guests actually grumbled about not letting me pick a dinner place in the future. It was their first visit. Crab cakes and Brussel sprouts are not worth the time. The fried green tomatoes were great. Our mac and cheese side came out lukewarm. Steak was over-cooked. The blackened grouper was great, but the sides (fried okra and grits) were meh.
With all the new places opening up, I doubt I will be back to Commerce Kitchen. My other two visits were ok, but didn’t blow me away.
Consistently great food. Nice atmosphere. Good service.
Always amazing. Great food and service.
Went here for Easter Brunch. as a fixed price menu with plenty of selections. I was quite impressed with the entire experience. I had stuffed French toast. Others in my party had Shrimp and Grits and the Eggs Benedict. I will return to sample the rest of the menu.
Easter Brunch Very good great service and was not loud.
First time there, had great expectations since it was highly rated on Trip Advisor. Had reservations at 6:00 PM April 3rd. We were going to the concert at the VBC at 8, got nervous because even at 7:00 we had not received our dinner yet. Something is wrong if in a hours time you can't get a steak and chicken and crab cake appetizers. We ordered two drinks each, way overpriced for the wine and the domestic beer was high too. Nothing special about the food, have had better crabcakes at almost every restaurant i have ever eaten at.
Excellent food and great service.
We ate outside & it was great!
1st visit and the service was very attentive and polite. The quantity of the main dish was smaller than expected but good.
Steak was over cooked.
It had been a while since we dined here...so glad we returned!
We WILL be back much sooner!
Fabulous in every way!
