Always a great experience with well prepared food and fine service.
Everything was excellent. The only issue we had was a salad was not brought out before the main meal. But the waiter compensated with a free dessert
This was our first time to Commerce Kitchen for brunch, although we have been there many times for dinner. There are several creative selections on the brunch menu and everything we ordered was quite good. I would highly recommend this place for brunch or dinner.
Desserts wanting ordered cheese cake Factory made served frozen first time that has ever happened even McDonald's does not allow that
We had reservations for 5:30. Everything was going ok until they ask us to leave because we had been there 2 hours. First of all our waiter didn’t come back to our table for twenty minutes or so. We wanted to order dessert and had to ask the guy who was filling our water up for dessert menus. And then our waiter showed up. We could have been gone long before then. My husband and i won’t be eating there again. And the food wasn’t that great.👎🏾😞
We started off with the Cornmeal Crusted Gulf Oysters. The outside had just the right amount of crispness and the oysters were was perfectly cooked inside. Suggest requesting some extra remoulade sauce on the side. Our entrees were the Fried Goat Cheese and Sesame Seared Ahi-Tuna salads - both were light and refreshing.
Those shrimp & grits!! 👍🏽
The food was good and the service was great. We recommend going for a special occasion.
Wonderful dining experience for breakfast / lunch / brunch. We enjoyed our visit and the food was delicious.
As always, great food and good service at Commerce Kitchen. Would recommend it; however, beware that during peak times, it can get a little loud (for those who are hard of hearing).
Great food and service. Enjoyed appetizers and deserts!!!
Maggie, the server was wonderful. Food was spot on. It was not as expensive as I would have thought for 4 people with drinks etc. I will go again!
A great dining experience! Full menu selections with a nice variety of options, good service and great atmosphere!
We loved Commerce Kitchen! Super delicious, reasonably priced, great service, modern but not too modern. Perfection.
However, if you want a quiet dinner, this is not the place. The noise level was our only drawback.
No one acknowledge entry into restaurant. Had to wait before hostess helped seat party. Very poor first impression.
Waitress and food were excellent.
I had the lobster bisque, which was very delicious and the wedge salad. Can't go wrong with those. The shrimp & grits or any variation of fried chicken they offer is also amazing.
Wonderful Sunday brunch! You must try the stuffed french toast. Everything was perfect from start to finish!
Wonderful dinner. Highly recommend.
The food was divine! Our table ordered the steak, the trout, and a pork chop. Everyone one was delighted. We were fortunate to have a booth which made it easier to converse. I couldn't imagine sitting down "the middle isle" to have a conversation.
Ate in bar area. Last minute reservation. Good and service excellent. Drinks weighted towards cocktails and wine. Beers limited.
Delicious as always! We brought friends from out-of-town. They loved it as well.
Everything was good except the tiny table we were put at that was right next to the combination stairway entrance and server workstation. Constant traffic just inches from my back.
Great night catching up with Army buddies. Food and service were great as well
Amazing as always
Always a lovely dinner at the Commerce. Great service & love a comfie private booth with my hubs or girlies after a long day. I also love the oysters & Parmesan fried green tomatoes. More like, I crave them!
Food was great. It was incredibly loud, couldn’t hear the person sitting across from you. Not the place for a romantic date. Way to many tables, and not enough space. Heard every word of the neighboring tables conversation. Prime rib was awesome. Drink choices included water or beer.
It was very cold the night we went and they had the air conditioner on in the restaurant. Their explanation was that it got really hot in the kitchen. I told the waiter that it made it uncomfortable and hard to enjoy the meal when your teeth were chattering. Tim was a great waiter and the food was delicious as always but the atmosphere was awful. The manager came to our table and apologized but by then our meal was done and we wanted our ticket and out of there quick. Not sure we will be back if they can’t keep the dining area comfortable without a coat while you eat.
Have been to this restaurant several times before, each time has been consistently good. The only criticism I provide is the lighting is too bright.
Service was basic couldn't get drinks refilled and they skipped one person for filling water 3 times. Food was good but not remarkable for some of the prices. Would go again for lunch maybe not dinner seemed tables for 2 got a lot more attention that large table of 6.
The food was excellent and the service was very good, thanks for all your efforts to help make our business dinner memorable, thanks
Our experience was disappointing and embarrassing. We were there with a group on our recommendation and felt responsible that the entire group was unimpressed. Steaks were overcooked, noise level was excessive, dessert was underwhelming. An $80 dinner for two should be exceptional. Commerce Kitchen failed to deliver an experience worthy of our dollars and our recommendation.
We came to celebrate our mom’s birthday. I even made a note of it when the reservation was made and mentioned it when we arrived. Not one person on the staff even came over and said Happy Birthday to her. Kinda disappointed.
Great service and delicious food! I will definitely come back if I travel to Huntsville again. I would recommend Commerce Kitchen to any of my friends and colleagues traveling to Huntsville as well.
Fantastic food and service.
Well worth driving over an hour to enjoy The Commerce Kitchen.
Always good food and great service.
Celebrating birthday and really wanted the fish tacos. They were only serving brunch menu. The fish tacos are only available Monday through Friday for lunch when most people are working. Disappointing...
This was the first time we ate here. The service was outstanding along with the meal.
This eatery in a renovated downtown storefront is great for a casual lunch or dinner or for drinks. The food is unusual and excellent. The service is informal, friendly and fast. Reservations recommended for lunch as well as for dinner.
Nice atmosphere. Good variety of lunch items.
