We ordered an appetizer and drinks, which arrived fairly quickly, but the rest of our meal took over an hour (beyond the time we already waited for appetizers). The server was knowledgeable and friendly but the amount of time we waited, and the price of the food, was what prompted the lower rating. We have no problem paying good money for good food, but nothing we ordered seems worth the price.
Enjoyable place to meet with a couple of friends. The waitstaff were very patient as we wanted to chat a lot. We were fortunate that there were always open tables.
Great happy hour spot. Very quiet so to restrictions. Awesome food and drinks for a low happy hour cost.

Excellent food! We had the spicy chicken sandwich and kale salad and was surprised by how delicious everything was. Great service but a little loud.
Wait staff seemed to forget about us, and no one really seemed like they wanted to be working (including the hostess...not all that friendly when she sat us). Usually a solid place for lunch, but today wasn’t so great.
This is our 2nd time at Columbus Tap since staying at the Swissotel annually. It’s actually located in the Fairmont Hotel, however, it’s convenient since it’s just a short walk through the pedway. The menu changed with very limited selection and a high price point for what it was. Some of the apps were good, but nothing spectacular. The entree selection didn’t offer a wide variety. My friends ordered the steak and was disappointed that the description wasn’t clear on the exact preparation. I had the salmon salad and the dressing was underwhelming, and the salmon was dry. I was told by a hotel employee that they are remodeling, hence the limited menu. Hoping they turn around the menu since the service and location are decent.
I think they had a bad day. I've been to Columbus tap many times and the food is always good and service is adequate, but this week was the exception. Our server literally did not care about us or anything. On top of that it took over an hour for our food to arrive and even with those issues the service never got better. the manager ended up talking to us and he was nice but that had no impact on the level of care and attention we got from our server! -- I'll go back because I know this was not a common experience and the food is very good.
The falafel bowl was fabulous.

Over priced —$36 dollars for a glass of wine!
Over priced beyond compare. The food overall was poor, soup was actually inedible and sent back by the guy who will literally eat anything. The best item was the grilled cheese from the kids menu, which isn’t a problem...but a $25 burger better be a $25 burger and not dry and tasteless and puck-like, while the bun was wet with condiments and couldn’t hold together. Won’t go back even if someone else is paying.

We came in after the Lights Festival for a bite to eat and it was nice and quiet and warm. The turkey plate special was really good.

The food options have improved - however, the service at this place is routinely horrific (really, really, really bad waiter this past visit; didn't understand the menu, barely spoke English, and forgot to bring out several items that were requested at time of ordering). This one was so bad that I would literally get up and leave this establishment if I was seated in his section again.
I come here reasonably often. This time the food was a bit slow. Fries were cold. The burger was expensive for what it was. Couldn’t find the server when it was time to leave. Not awful. But not good. If it was my first time I probably wouldn’t come back. As it is, I’ll give it another chance.

It took way too long to get three salads during a lunch rush. Otherwise everything was god
We felt the food was good, but overpriced, even in comparison to nearby restaurants. We won’t be returning. Service also was slow.
I chose the salmon salad which way overlooked. Elizabeth, our waitress, quickly and graciously replaced it with the delicious chicken and quinoa salad. I never send anything back, don’t like to cause problems, but she went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience. Thank you Elizabeth!

No cheeseburger is worth $24! Just way too expensive for mediocre bar food.

An underwhelming experience as we expected better having been to other fairmont hotels. No one to greet us when we arrived, place was nearly empty, food took a long time and. An apology was given for the delay. Disappointing really.

Wasn't sure what to expect. It is attached to the Fairmont hotel. We basically sampled the bar food. the wings were dry coated so meat was a bit dry. had the crab cake appetizer that was excellent.

A hostess sat us down, our server stopped at our table to take orders once food was delivered we did not see our server again. We sat and waited for 30 minutes after finishing our meals and drinks only to have to flag down a bus boy to get our checks.

This place is pretty good, however, given that it is in a Fairmont Hotel, I would say the food is just okay. The service is quite good, and the staff was very accommodating (we made a reservation for 7 people at the last minute), but I would say the food was uninspired, though to be fair is is a Tap Room/Bistro and not a full-out dining room. Bottomline, this is a great place for a good beer and a nosh if you are in the neighborhood, but not a foodie place.
Perfect for a business lunch or if you’re staying at the Fairmont hotel.
