Columbia Ybor City is the oldest and largest and BEST Spanish restaurant in Florida. It has been in business since 1905 with the same family ownership. The food, atmosphere and service are more than worth the the trip from any corner of Florida. It is difficult to describe how wonderful the food at this restaurant is. You can choose anything on the menu and be sure that it is the best version you have ever tasted.
We usually go at least once per year, and I can hardly wait for the next time we visit.
Magnificent, historic building, interesting, tasty food.
Terrific experience. Crowded entrance...confusion to leave name with greeter. Area not clear for handicapped, wheelchair. But...beautifully appointed restaurant, food outstanding, service impeccable. Leslie our sever, was magnificant, on time, professional and friendly.
I’ve been to other Columbia Restaurants before and really enjoyed my dining experience but never to the original in Ybor city. This building should be on the National Historic Registrt and they have their own parking lot that is free. Incredible dining experience!!!
Always a special treat. Lots of delicious choices and the service was outstanding!
The restaurant is in a historic building in a landmark district. The tile work and decor is quite beautiful. The food and drinks were great. The waiter was helpful with explanations on various Cuban delicacies. We did the dinner show for a small upcharge per person, I personally didn’t think the show was worth it , others in the group liked it. Between us we had chicken dishes, grouper dishes, steak and paella. Everyone loved their meals !
Excellent dining experience. The food is amazing best Spanish food ever! Can't wait to go back
Wonderful food, ambiance and service. It's worth going to Ybor just to eat here.
Celebrating Valentine's Day. Amazing service from Alberto! A fantastic tour of their original cafe, an old speakeasy, many private rooms, the 5000 square ft. kitchen, and 113 years of history to go with it provided by Christian, on a restaurant tour. We indulged: a salad and sangria made table side, recipes from year 1905. We also had a trio tower of tapas including mussels with chorizo, scallops, and empanadas. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
One of my favorite restaurants! We went twice in 4 days. Get the 1905 salad for sure and the champagne sangria is awesome!
The experience was very interesting and unique. Great food, friendly prompt service. The metallic ceiling reverberates the background noise, but it’s a small price to pay for such a wonderful meal.
Food was wonderful , large menu to choose from. And service was excellent they got us
out in time for our show.
We drive 85 miles to eat here. Best restaurant in Tampa
This is a wonderful old restaurant, in business since 1905. The food is spectacular especially the 1905 salad & gazpacho.
