   We dined Early about 5pm for my sons 5th grade graduation. Service was great but all my sons food was cold. My chicken was dry. I love Columbia abs never had bad meal or experience until yesterday. We had plans so in hurry to leave other wise I would have complained but we didn’t have the time to wait for all our meals but one to be remade.

   We came here for our anniversary and were treated like special guests. They wished us a “happy anniversary” upon arrival. Then escorted us to a table where a card had been signed by all the staff. We even received a complimentary anniversary flan, which was by far THE BEST flan I’ve ever eaten. Would definitely come here again for a special occasion because the ambiance is amazing.    We enjoyed celebrating a birthday with Red Sangria & Cava Sangria plus great entrees. Mylee , our waitress, was very personable and knowledgeable. A great asset to the restaurant. We were a party of 7 with each person enjoying a different delicious entree with beef, mahi mahi, chicken, pork, & Cuban sandwich alongside the 1905 salads. Love our special visits to the Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City.

   Our waiter Ernesto was phenomenal😊 food was Delicious as usual. I’m from Massachusetts and every time I come to Tampa I go to your restaurant. Love love it!

   Absolutely wonderful restaurant. You are immersed in the history of hispanic culinary arts as well as the culture. Architecture is beautiful, servers are polite and prompt, ambiance is second to none. Food is fantastic. Highly recommend. Now one of my favorite places.

    The main dining rooms look nice. Good atmosphere, although loud. But can appreciate the culture and vibe of those main dining rooms. But, we were encouraged to try the dinner and dance show instead. Poor choice. Room was more like a large banquet hall. Our server was great- very professional. I will get credit where credit is due on that aspect. The food- ehh- and very overpriced for what it was. The show… cringe is the best words for it. Zero chance I would go back or encourage others to go. The city alone is at best, scary. Very rough. I appreciate the history of the restaurant and all it stands for, I just cannot say the price or the quality of food is worth visiting for that history.

    A true dining experience. The Columbia Restaurant is a must if you are in the Tampa area. Great food, service and ambiance. One Problem: The toilet in the men's room does not flush properly and need to be replace.

    Excellent service; friendly restaurant. Great Cuban sandwich! Best Cuban sandwich that I have had in years. House salad is very original and tasty. Good food overall; side dishes could be better. Some sides taste like they are not made fresh in-house. Restaurant has a strange smell. Overall it is a good experience to go to this historic restaurant.

    2nd visit to Columbia with terrible service. The last time I was there the server left in the middle of his shift despite having multiple tables. Long wait times for food. Food cold when it finally arrived and made mistakes with order and didn’t bring foos for one of the guests in our party. I love this restaurant and go to all of its locations often—lately is has been terrible and inconsistent. They need to train the people they are hiring.

    As always, Columbia offered an excellent dining experience. The 1905 Salad, empanadas, crab cakes, and Cuban sandwiches were enjoyed along with their melt-in-your-mouth Cuban bread made fresh for every table. Make a reservation a day in advance if you want a table at your preferred time.

    We can’t say enough about a Columbia Restaurant! The meal was delicious, and that includes the coffee and Keylime pie. Our waiter, Austin, did a fabulous job. He was professional, yet friendly. The tiles inside and outside of the restaurant are stunning and the decorations are beautiful. We are looking forward to our next trip to the area and will definitely be eating here again.

    Anniversary dinner and our first visit to Tampa and Columbia. It was really wonderful. We were congratulated on our anniversary upon checking in. We were seated within 5 minutes. Our sever was great—busy, but still attentive. The food and table side sangria were all delicious. We had the salad, 3 entrees, pitcher of sangria, and key lime pie. The platanos sides were the hit, along with the empanadas. Salmon aurora, Cubano plate, and shredded beef did not disappoint. I have a hunch it doesn’t matter what you order; everything would be great.

    This place is incredible. Not only is the food phenomenal but the service is even better. After our meal my wife asked where she was allowed to walk around and take pictures (place is huge and has tons of history) and our server offered to give us a tour of the place! Anyways if you are in the area it’s a must visit.

    We made a reservation for 8 of us to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived we were seated immediately and our waitress was at the table quite quickly. I like that we didn’t feel rushed to order or eat. The food and drinks are always amazing at the Columbia. We also saw the show. They were beautiful and amazing dancers. It was a great experience. I would recommend everyone do it at least once but it would also be great to take visitors from out of town.

    We went to celebrate my birthday and watch the flamenco dancers. The food and the show were wonderful!! The server was ok. He bumped into our table several times during our dinner. A few of the times quite roughly. Would be surprised if he wasn’t bruised. He forgot my foam but did return with it when reminded. He did not tell us about the specials. I was going to order the fish special but couldn’t remember the name snd was unsure if it was still available. All in all a good experience

    Delicious! Everyone loved their food from the Eggplant Riojana, the Crab Cakes and 1905 house salad, the Shrimp and Crab Alcachofas to the White Chocolate Pudding. Service was just great!!

    Anytime we’re close to Tampa we have to go! The food, drinks and service is all spectacular! Try the 1905 salad and white chocolate bread pudding, you will be thinking about that salad for weeks to come!! The little store next to restaurant is super cute and has lots of fun stuff to add to your kitchen 🙂

    Traditional restaurant service with a very attentive server. The 1905 salad was delicious and dressed next to our table. The black bean soup, Cuban bread, deviled crab croquettes, Cuban sandwich and churros were excellent. Wonderful experience with beautiful Spanish/Cuban ambiance. We loved it.

    Every year we come to Tampa the Columbia is a must for dinner. I will say this is the first time in several years that the food just wasn’t consistent. 1905 salad was great as usual so we’re the mojitos. Hopefully it was just an off night. Will be back next year.

    Enjoyed a Friday evening at the Columbia restaurant entertaining a friend. Albeit a noisy Friday, the hostess offered a table upstairs, but we declined in favor of a downstairs option for medical reasons. The server came to our table promptly and explained the beverages available, answered menu questions and gave some prudent recommendations when asked. The evening was superb. The seafood, Red Snapper was superior and accompanied by wonderful vegetables, etc. All at our table decided on Key Lime pie for dessert. I can honestly say we fully enjoyed the evening and have nothing but praise for the staff that made us so comfortable. Well done, Columbia. Thank you.

    The customer service at Columbia is top notch. There was an issue with my meal and they instantly took care of it and apologized profusely for the mix up. The food is amazing! The flamenco show is great! Love going here for a special occasion. This was our third time coming and we will continue to take friends and family! Huge shout out to Katie, the manager, for her care and personal attention for my food issue.
