   Sat at the bar as we arrived a bit early. Absolutely amazing food. Highly recommend the paella if you have time. And the 1905 salad was amazing. Great experience with awesome bartenders. Will come back for sure. My new go to in Ybor.

   This is the first terrible experience I've had at any Columbia location. Unfortunately, it will be memorable for me and my first-time-to-Columbia guests. The best part of any Columbia meal is the salad. I had been looking forward to it for days and I raved about it to my guests. We ordered salads & entrees and we waited what seemed like forever. Finally, we were served our entrees. No salad. They forgot our salads! Our server, Austin, didn't serve the entrees, he was nowhere to be found, so we started eating - no one wanted to make a fuss by sending the entrees back. To make matters worse, my entree of Palomilla steak with rice was stone cold. When Austin checked on us 10 minutes later I said we never got our salads. Instead of apologizing, he thought it would be a good idea to insult me with "Oh, that was my fault, I guess I was watching your calories for you." WHAT? Everyone's jaw dropped and it embarrassed me. A simple "I'm sorry" would have sufficed! I thought about asking for the salad to take home, but not after that comment. Plus, we were going to order dessert, but again, not after that comment. We paid our check & went down the street for ice cream. I love Columbia but I won't be back to that location & my new-to-town guests won't ever go back to one after that experience. Again, I've never had a bad experience at any location, but this one will stick.

    The food here is outstanding, at reasonable prices. They go over and above with their service. We had a person in a wheelchair in our group and they were very helpful and efficient in making his experience an outstanding one.

    Our meal was delicious. Our server, Nicole, was amazing. She gave us exceptional service and also gave us the history on the beginning of the restaurant and the building. We enjoyed her information. We highly recommend the Columbia Restaurant. You won’t leave disappointed.

    Food was not good in terms of quality and the service was really bad. The waiter didn't get the bill right and questioned it. Unbelievable!!! The food was cold and not done properly. Most of the employees had a bad attitude

    We were sat in the new wing but the decor was congruent with the rest of the building so it wasn’t noticeable. The music was a little too loud and made conversation at the table difficult and it was hard to hear the waitress even with her at my shoulder. The food was excellent as always.

    We sat in the original 1905 corner dinning room and marveled at the decor. Our entrees were perfectly cooked, hot when arrived, and delicious. A perfect dinning experience. Job well done.

    Had the Pampano Fish. Outstanding. Filet Mignon fantastic The other two dishes I can’t remember but all of us loved our food and drinks. This Columbia is the best of all.

    Delicious Cuban sandwich & 1905 Salad. The 3 Amigos Churros served with caramel, chocolate & guava sauce was outstanding. Best Sangria‼️ Excellent service & wonderful ambiance, rich with history, made for a memorable lunch.

    My friends from WI totally enjoyed their experience as I k ew they would. Food was delicious. They both tried dishes they’ never had before! We watched the Flamenco Dancing which was fabulous. Of course you can’t have conversation during that time but when you only come to Tampa once it is a must have experience! Thank you Columbia for helping me show off my favorite local restaurant!

    Great restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service by John first class. We never felt rushed throughout the meal and the timing of the courses was perfect. We will definitely be back to sample more dishes.

    Our svc was great, Yarek. Sampler plate meat was all completely dry and not enjoyable. Portion was small. Salad was small compared to previous salads. Sadly we brought people from out of town and dissatisfied

    Reservation doesn't mean that you will have a table upon arrival. One entry was overcooked to the point were it was not eatable and the manager did not apologized nor offered to make it up. Another entry was extra salty. location of the table was 2 steps from the door bathroom and one step from the restaurant exit door. Service was lousy.

    The magnificent attention, the excellent food, I don't like to drink alcoholic beverages, but I recommend the Sangria, it's exquisite, in short, of course I would return, my husband and I went for our 27th anniversary and we had a very pleasant time, I recommend them

    The restaurant is loosing its ambiance of a elegant place to dine. It’s more about doing quantity instead of quality. The paella was ok, it was missing taste and Safran. The shrimp criollo had too much paprikas and not enough Spanish flavor. It felt like nice fast food restaurant.

    The signature salad was a bit of a joke. He came to the table he put the dressing on and then painted it that was about all he said it was really no pudding added ingredients. He didn’t even ask us if he wanted a pepper on top of the salad after it was plated.

    For starters reservations are highly recommended for this location. Columbia is very busy. Although we showed up a little early for our reservation and were seated right away. The staff was amazing. We travel with an ADA scooter, and they made sure we got in seated and out with little effort. Our waiter did an amazing job with the number of tables he had. He was very professional and explained the menu and food to us. The food was great and authentic. The atmosphere and history makes this a wonderful place to visit. If you are in Tampa this should be on your list of places to eat at.
