Family-owned and operated for more than 112 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Food was outstanding, our server went above and beyond, everything was perfect for our anniversary lunch!! Loved our dining experience and eating on the third floor reminded us of being in Spain!!

Obviously a "tourist" oriented restuarant. Very disappointing for someone who had their pre-wedding dinner at the original Columbia in Ybor City.

We drive from Jacksonville every other month for the 1/2 1905 Salad and 1/2 Cuban sandwich combination. Delicious and filling!

As usual, food was outstanding and fun watching the 1905 salad being made table side. Service good despite the crowded restaurant. Definitely recommend if you are in or near Saint Augustine.

Food was good but I wasn’t blown away. The service was EXTREMELY slow- we were there for almost 2 hrs.
The place is beautiful but I probably wouldn’t go there again.

Other than the signature items- sangria and the 1905 salad, the food was not very good. The service was less than friendly and the experience was pretty disappointing.

The stuffed mushrooms were soggy and sitting in a puddle of moisture. "Stuffed" means a few chunks of smoked sausage- nothing binding it together. Very little effort was evident in the presentation.

We waited forty minutes for appetizers. We then placed our order. I ordered a 1905 salad before my meal. I waited 20 minutes before a waiter other than ours came over to fill our water glasses to tell her I was still waiting on my salad. The new waitress quickly got the salad and refilled our meals. We then waited another 20 minutes for our main course. I ordered the most expensive item on the menu, the Bambino steak. It was flavorless. On top of that, it’s aused great stomach discomfort for the rest of the evening. My wife’s PAlamina was also flavorless. Our entire visit was 1 hour and 55 minutes. While I received and extremely large discount on my meal, it did not make up for the poor dining experience. We love Columbia when it was in St. Petersburg and in Celebration. We will not be going back to the St. Augustine location

My friend and I came for a quick bite prior to attending a concert at the amphitheater. My friend had never been there before. We both thoroughly enjoyed our tapas and our ability to have a conversation. The fresh warm Cuban bread with butter was amazing.

I have always heard great things about this place, so I booked it for a special occasion. I was extremely disappointed in the food (took over 30 minutes and everyone’s meal came out cold). Our server was ok, but they had dirty trays out the whole time behind us while we were there and just kept adding to them but no one was bussing them. A glass broke at another table and was on the ground for over 30 minutes which was in a pathway to the restroom. Two employees walked by it 4 times and never once cleaned it up. Once we were leaving we saw employees rolling silverware and filling salt and pepper shakers at a table in the middle of customers eating. I have worked at a restaurant before and that is just not something you do in front of customers. Basically it seemed like no one even cared that there were customers there and like no one wanted to work that day. I really hope that this is not how it is all the time because if it is I do not know how they have made it as long as they have and that customers are accepting to this behavior.

We made reservations and were seating promptly. The waitress was great and cheery too. She was very helpful with all of the changes people in our group wanted. The food was delicious. We all ordered something different. The sangria was amazing. We loved the 1905 salad. Also the mussels with chorizo was incredible! We always have a wonderful meal here. They have so much variety. I love trying a different meal every time I come.

It was my first disappointing meal at this or any of the Columbia Restaurant locations. The Flank steak special I ordered was a bit burnt. Because it took so long for us to get our meals, I had no desire to wait for them to redo it right, so I ate it anyway. Everything else was great as usual. Normally I always give them 5 out of 5 stars - but this time they fell short of perfection. Everyone else in party enjoyed their meals with no complaints. Other than the meals taking a while, the service was great as usual. I still recommend going there and I personally will go back again.

Three years ago this restaurant was recommended to me by a volunteer at Ft. Augustine. We enjoyed it so much then, so on a return trip this month we had lunch there again. We enjoyed every bite, service was great and I love the architecture of the building. I’m sure we will return another time when we travel to Florida.

First impressions say it all! Had reservation and we still had to wait. Hostess had a major attitude, no smiling, she just was just aggravated and miserable. Originally requested quite corner, they sat us in the middle of the dinning area. Abigail our waitress was phenomenal! She was kind, knowledgeable and explained all the dishes to us. Food was pricey, but it was tasty. The restaurant needs to have a friendlier hostess who can accommodate seating requests with a SMILE.

We went to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was highly recommended. It was not what we were expecting. The hostess was rude and not very friendly. The atmosphere was loud and tables close together. The server was very busy and not friendly. She did not go over any of the menu or recommend anything. It was our first time there. The food we ordered was just ok. But we did not know what to try because the server was not helpful. It was an overall terrible experience.

We were seated in the bar and asked for another table. They moved us to another table in the bar 2 tables from the first. We said "no". They then moved us to a table next to 2 women with a cranky 2 year old in a highchair, "no". 4th table was small with straight back wrought iron chair comfortable for 1 hour max. My cup of soup arrived 25 minutes after ordering. I was told the kitchen ran out of soup, it was 5:30, the start of the dinner rush. My wife ordered the veal cutlet, topped with crab, accompanied with grilled asparagus and brown rice. It was very good. I ordered the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The breading was not crisp, the bacon raw and very salty and the shrimp pre-boiled, rubbery and tasteless. The wine list is filled with non-descript Spanish reds. This is why sangria was invented. The service was average, very noisy atmosphere and consistency of the food poor! If you take a chance, have the veal and white wine. We are locals and will not be back. The best part of dinner was gelato at Café de Hidalgo across the street.
