Columbia es un restaurante de propiedad y gestión familiar que lleva funcionando más de 110 años, es famoso por su encanto del viejo mundo y ha sido galardonado por su gastronomía española/cubana. My wife and I went for dinner and it seemed like we weren’t that important to our server. We waited 30 min a time before she made trips back to the table. I ordered the ribeye medium and the steak comes out raw in the middle. Overall a bad experience. We have had good experience here but it must have been an off night

We have lived in Florida for like 15+ years. The Columbia house is awesome. We’ve been to many of their locations. Saint Augustine is the closest one. We’re in town for a wedding this weekend. Had to stop by for lunch. Service was great as always.

Our favorite restaurant in St Augustine! Their sangria is the best! The shrimp and crabmeat alcachofas tapa was delicious! The red snapper Alicante and Adelita styles was amazing and the Fideua de Mariscos was outstanding! We always look forward to the Cuban bread as well. Our server Marisia and her staff were very professional and accommodating.

This is our fourth experience at Columbia restaurant; we’ve eaten in Clearwater, Celebration, Siesta Key/Sarasota and now St. Augustine. The lowest level to the right of the check in stand is the most beautiful room, followed by “PR” which is up a half a level overlooking both the bar and the lower room, and the center of the other room downstairs, by the statue under the large domed skylight. We sat upstairs in a corner, and while it was lovely, it certainly wasn’t comparable to the other areas I mentioned. This location is huge, and I think larger than any of the others we’ve been to. We will definitely visit the original in Ybor next. As always, the calamari and pitchers of Mojitos were top notch, as was their signature salad. We added shrimp this time, and it’s definitely my favorite way to enjoy this incomparable salad. It’s a must. The Grouper dinner was a huge disappointment; all four of us tried it, and none of us enjoyed the preparation — mind you the fish was very fresh, and the sides were delicious. My husband enjoyed the Chinese inspired beef dish, but not nearly as much as our server suggested; it was his favorite dish on the menu. Speaking of our server — Shane was who made our experience top notch. He was an exceptional server in every manner. It’s not often that I would write about the server, but he deserves the praise. A+ service. While it wasn’t our most favorite Columbia meal, the overall experience didn’t disappoint, and the free parking downtown is a huge bonus too! We love Columbia Restaurants!
