We always come here whether we are in St. Augustine or Tampa. The 1905 salad is always fresh and delicious. The sangria is always good too. The Cuban bread is warm and yummy. We tried a ham and cheese daily special and were a little disappointed but it wont stop us from returning.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with an extensive menu. The food I had as well as my companion's was fantastic. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Despite its "touristic" appearance, it is a great dining experience. Food is delicious, sangria yummy and a lovely evening out.

This place is great! We went twice and both times the food and service was excellent. The feel of the restaurant ties in with the old world feel of St. Agustine well and it is a definite stop for us when we are there. We really love the 1905 salad and highly recommend it! Sangria was excellent as well and both are made tableside for some fun flare.

All of our food came to the table barely warm so all was quite cold when finished dining. Included soup, tapas, and main mahi & rice course. Food was tasty however. Empty coffee cups piled up and left on table after new coffee cups served. Messy.

Our waitress, Kelsey, took at least seven to eight minutes before she even greeted our table to take drink orders. I asked for no lemon in my tea, and she came back with lemon in it. Since it took so long to get the drinks, to begin with, I didn't even bother to ask to get a replacement. It looks like she only had three tables in her section which were two four tops, and our two top. Don't really know what the hold up was.
Although the food was good, it wasn't as good as our usual Sand Key location or Ybor. The palomilla was too tenderized so it tasted drier than usual. At least the Good Rice was exceptional, so that made up for the dry steak.
We've had our anniversary at a Columbia Restaurant since 2009, and this is the first year we've ever been disappointed by the service and quality of food. I guess that's what happens when you mix things up and go to a different location.

We truly enjoyed our server, Jessica, who went out of her way to suggest sites to see and places to visit after lunch while we were in town for the weekend. The food was amazing and service was even better. Can't wait to visit again!

Delicious food! I recommend the Sangria, Spanish Bean soup and 1905 salad. Steak Salteado is also very good. Never had a bad meal here. Reservations are best otherwise the wait can be long.

Enjoyed the atmosphere at the Columbia. Our waitress worked super hard to allow us to have a nice meal. The wait time for our dinner was a little long. But it was great other than that.

We had a reservation, and were seated promptly. We then waited 15 minutes before a waitress ever came to the table. She took our drink orders and then was obviously annoyed when one member of our party(never ate at this restaurant before, and unfamiliar with the dishes) took longer to decide what he wanted . After placing our order, it took exactly another hour before we received our food. We never complained, nor did we receive an apology for it taking so long. We ordered two grouper, one pallamillo steak and a Cuban-none of which take a hour to prepare. The grouper was over cooked, but we did not complain. We ordered one flan , when asked if we wanted dessert. We had just paid our tab and were preparing to leave when the waitress approached our table and very rudely said"We need you to leave now, we have a big group that needs this table".!!
We have frequented your restaurant over the past five years, as our daughter was attending Flagler. We will not be back. Never, in all of our travels have we ever been treated with so much rudeness in a restaurant.

Overall just a Fantastic Lunch.
Our server was polite and attentive and knew the menu very well.
We decided on Tappas and our server had some really good recommendations and explained the various items like she had made them herself. We decided on shrimp and lobster and mussels as our dishes to share. All three were expertly prepared and presented.
We loved all three and only wished we could eat more. After a short Rest . we split the Vanilla Bread Pudding with coffee. EXCELLENT MEAL !!

As ALWAY, our meal was delicious. Don't mood the 1905 salad which is tossed tableside. My wife LOVED the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and my chicken, coveted in Catalan based tomato sauce and Spanish cheese was great. The broccoli with onions an mushrooms was fresh and tasty. And the the yellow rice with veggies was good. Great atmosphere. Don't miss the experience.

As usual the Columbia does not disappoint. We come from Tampa and when we are vacationing at mayport always drive to the Columbia at least once during the vacation. We meet my brother and sister in law for great food and great conversation on special occasions. Was slightly disappointed in the thanksgiving meal this year , we are looking forward to the Easter meal there every year. We recommend the Columbia to all our friends

First time to Columbia and I had high expectations from community reviews. Dinner was for my anniversary. Food was nothing special for flavor or plating. Service was sparse and infrequent, but I'm chalking that up to also being new years eve and busy. Overall, not worth the value for money. Unsure if I will return.

AMAZING MEAL!! Our family trip was made by this dinner. Sangria, yes! 1905 salad a MUST! The rice is beyond fab... I was stealing this saffron gold off of others plates. Cuban sandwich dipped in 1905 salad dressing... oh my. Everything about this place was perfection...including the service! Would give higher rating than five stars if I could... we WILL GO BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!

Great food, great ambiance, great service, good value. This is what every customer is looking for in a restaurant. May be this is why they are so successful and been around for over 100 years. Keep it going for another 100 years.
