Family-owned and operated for more than 112 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Filet Mignon "Columbia," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

We had the perfect dining experience. Our waitress was exceptional. We decided to have the paella which required 25 minutes preparation. In the meantime we had a lobster flatbread that was wonderful with a couple of glasses of sangria. The paella was worth every minute of the wait. It was loaded with seafood and served at the table. We had a churro dessert with chocolate, carmel and fruit dipping sauces. The whole experience could not have been better.

I have been to the Columbia in Celebration, FL and was trying this location for the first time. Every bit as enjoyable. The service was first rate and the food was spectacular.

When a restaurant engages on Open Table it sets an expectation; Columbia did not meet the bar. My husband wanted to make our anniversary dinner extra special and he put specific info in the reservation booking. Columbia ignored the comments. When we arrived at reservation time, we were given the typical pager and told to hangout...why make a reservation? Then when the pager went off, we were taken to a table set for six????Huh??? Oh, wrong table....hostess didn’t know her tables, hangout and let her go check....one table over a table for four should work...I really don’t get why we made reservations, it really didn’t mean the restaurant would prepare for us, it just let them know they would have customers, maybe? The waiter quickly seemed apologetic for pricing and was more concerned with the best deal. Despite all that the kitchen saved this special night...with an amazing tapas appetizer, the Sangria and the paella....most nights would end with dessert but waiter didn’t even offer the dessert menu....last disappointment!

The Columbia is one of my favorite restaurants! I try to go there every time I visit St. Augustine. The food and atmosphere are great for any kind of occasion. The 1905 Salad and Black Bean Soup are what I usually get but everything I have tried on the menu is amazing! The service was also fast, friendly and knowledgeable.

very disappointed in the chicken and rice. It was very dry. The salad lettuce was welted and overall not that good. In the past I had had much better quality of food at the Columbia both in Ybor City and St. Agustin. I guess that the tourist trade is dictating the quality of the ingredients that you are serving at the present. Good Luck that is all I have to say.

Having living in Spain, I was very happy to eat there.. :) My only gripe was watching one of the personnel setting up the table for the next patrons, accidentally dropped a pepper shaker on the floor , picking it up and putting the pepper shaker on the table without wiping it off or putting a different one on the table..

Our Waitress name was Audrey. She was very informative of the menu with our few questions we had. Very friendly, very nice all around. She gave me & my fiancé a very quiet dining experience. I would love to her wait on us again and again. I can the passion & professionalism she has. The food was like a art painting, priceless and very delightful

Great restaurant. We had the pollo manchego and the pallomilla steak, both phenomenal. We also shared the queso fundido and sangria which were a huge hit! Would return.

This restaurant was very good and had great food, it is accurately priced for the quality of the food and service, can't beat being in downtown St. Augustine as well. Would recommend to anyone.
