Let me 1st say I love the Columbia House... 1905 salad and black bean soup is great. Service is outstanding. My issue- cold main course. The waitress was great she took it back right away and said she will have this fixed and I will have them put fresh white rice. Well it came out with it hot... but it was the same rice and the plate was hot.. hum was it microwaved ? Disappointing... the kitchen manager needs to do a better job especially when they have a re-order. But don’t be disheartened one person not doing their job does not make this great restaurant not worth going.

Very good Cuban/Spain Food, I had the Snapper Adelita and it was delicious and my wife had the Shrimp w. Yellow rice which was also very good and tasty. We enjoyed our food with couple of glasses of Sangria, just to stay in the Latin zone. Always a great place to get out of the routine.

We enjoyed a birthday dinner at Columbia. We order the tapas trio as appetizer and split 2 entrees with 3 people. Service was ok for a Thursday evening but could have been better. Perhaps it was a busy December evening.

This was a repeat visit for me, but my husband had never been to Columbia. We both ordered Paella dishes and they were wonderful! The service was excellent, and we both agreed this was a definite “do-over”!

Had reservations and first seated by the door to the kitchen. Asked to be moved and then was seated at the first table by the bathroom upstairs. Why? There were so many empty tables available.

The food is good and authentic. But the drink, especially the sangria is expensive, I believe $24 a carafe.

The service was not good. A table next to us who sat down 10-15 minutes later than us were served bread and beverages before we even had a waiter come by.

Overall the only thing I found nice was the atmosphere.

Wonderful early Christmas lunch with my son. Restaurant was recommended by colleagues. Did not disappoint. Definitely will return to try other items on the menu and to enjoy the lovely St. Augustine area.

Wonderful restaurant! The food was fabulous! Beautiful setting in downtown St. Augustine. My filet mignon was cooked just right, and my husband loved his stuffed grouper. We were both stuffed, but decided to share a dessert. We shared the bread pudding and it was very delicious. The wait staff was very polite and helpful.

4 of us dining, 2 couples. Food was institutional in nature.
Asked for very well done, did not happen. Server could not even split the tab correctly. Began serving dessert before we were all finished with entrees. Very strange.
Overpriced for the experience.

When we visit St Augustine, Tampa (Ybor), and Clearwater, we always make it a point to dine at Columbia. Never disappointed. Their special sangria and salad are a must. The Columbia in St Augustine is situated in the prime central location.

We had our Staff Christmas Luncheon at Columbia because we enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and it is within walking distance of the church. Our server, (unfortunately, I do not recall her name) was very attentive and polite. The overall experience was quite delightful! We will do this again! The reservation process was very quick and easy. We were not an extremely large group (nine people) but sometimes this can make it more difficult to seat. There were no problems whatsoever!

I always eat at Columbia, this was a poor visit. Drinks were not the way it was supposed to be. Steak was average at best. Paella was salty. Ordered paella for 2 only got for 1. Disappointed that i recommended for a long time to my client this restaurant...

We absolutely loved Shauna, our server. She was fun and made us feel so welcome and at home. The food was awesome and we loved all the dishes we had. Of course, we love the 1904 salad! Most of us had paella and loved all of the dishes! Thank you for a memorable and enjoyable evening.

Columbia Restaurant was a fun evening for a family gathering to celebrate family birthdays and the Christmas season. Convenient to stroll afterward and enjoy St. Augustine's Nights of Lights. Columbia confirmed reservation the morning of event. We were seated promptly. Service was excellent and the food spoke of its Spanish heritage. Our table overlooked a historic St. Augustine strolling street with many local shops drawing lots of foot traffic. Tied with the Nationally renowned Nights of Lights Christmas decorations in nearby square as well as historic buildings and local shops, it was a wonderful way to spend an evening with family. Even the 3 year old was enjoyed the food and evening.

The food was excellent, the service was good.. the atmosphere was terrible. I asked the hostess for a special spot since it was an Anniversary dinner. We were apparently placed on a path to the back stairs leading to the kitchen downstairs. Every service person passing us was practically running to attend to their duties. The servers carrying large trays would holler "CORNER!" as they approached the stairs. I wouldn't recommend going there for a romantic setting. Too frenetic for our taste. There was actually other seating available and we were disappointed with our arrangement.

We went to The Columbia for my Daughter's graduation from Flagler College. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the service and back again, everything was perfect. Everything was absolutely delicious and I must say that the Flan was the best that I have ever had, including my Grandma's secret recipe....

The table side 1905 salad is a must have when you visit. I had the Filet Steak Salteado and my companion had the Grouper Jimmy. Both meals were cooked to perfection and the portions were large. We ended our meal with Flan and I must admit, I have not had better flan anywhere.

I've been coming here for years. One of my favorites. Any one who comes i. Town i bring them here for the signature salads and cuban sandwiches. Never disappointed only one time with service, but you always have that one time, and one waiter that is having a off day. I suggest this as a place to eat while in town.

We were excited to reserve space at Columbia for our Business end of year holiday luncheon. However we were disappointed that we placed a reservation for 8 people a week and a half in advance and were placed in very tight sitting space, using only 2 tables pushed together (of uneven heights), there was not enough room for three people to sit along the sides and 2 at the head with the size of dining ware and number of plates, glasses, etc delivered to the table. Only 7 out of 8 meals arrived at our table initially 4 of them were cold. When the last meal finally arrived, everyone else was already done with their meals. Also the dish was served different from how it has always been served in the past, it seemed like a complete rush to just "throw" something on a plate and finally get it to the table. Our server seemed chaotic and scrambling to remember what was ordered and who requested what dish. At multiple times during our lunch there was a debate and question to members of our party as to what was supposed to be provided with / without the meal requested. This said, our experience fell a bit flat.

Overpriced tourist fare at best. At least the servers could pronounce the Spanish words correctly after being established for more than 100 years? Avoid the Cuban. It’s over cooked beyond recognition.

The good was good, but our server Rebecca was having a horrible shift and was letting all the tables know about it. We watched one table leave after an hour without their food, heard her apologizing to another table about her mistake with their order, then forgot to ring in our appetizer. After the other tables left and we had the section to ourselves, our server and a hostess stood right behind us gossiping for about ten minutes. It felt like we were eating in a break room. The food was delicous, but the service was so unprofessional it ruined the experience.
