Spanish
Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Join us for century-old family recipes like Paella "a la Valenciana," Roast Pork "a la Cubana," and fresh seafood specialties.

Don’t miss Columbia’s Original “1905” Salad®, prepared tableside with our delicious, freshly-made dressing, a 100-year-old family recipe of fresh garlic, oregano, wine vinegar and Spanish extra virgin olive oil.

Be sure to sample a fine Spanish wine like Montecillo or Campillo. Relax in our courtyard or Mediterranean-style dining rooms, filled with hundreds of hand-painted tiles and Spanish-style fountains.

We are a sister to the Columbia in Tampa's Ybor City, founded in 1905. Children's menu available. Open 365-days a year, including all holidays.

Food and service were great as always. Not the place to go if you're looking to have a converstion without speaking quite loudly to overcome the other guests. Lots of tile surfaces to reflect the sound.

The Columbia Restaurants are always consistently excellent with their food , service and ambiance. They have learned the creativity of turning a chain restaurant into the feeling of individuality. The prices are low to moderate, with affordability for almost everyone, and family friendly.

I come here Everytime I come home to visit, it's worth the trip to old town, however I do recommend making a reservation otherwise you'll be waiting a while. I typically make them several days in advance.

We came to this restaurant 3 years ago and had a wonderful experience, Covid changed all that. The staff is friendly, the ambience is still attracting but the food/wine was just not worth the bill. The wine menu is limited and they did not have some of the items presented. The Food is what suffered the most… The $48 ribeye was thin and dry, the rice seemed like it had been cooked for hours. The magi Mahi was dry and chewy, the beef tips were hard to chew. Overall the prices did not reflect the quality of the food. If I am going to spend $260 for four people, I expect for the quality to be excellent, this was not the case. Disappointing, overall…

The service was horrible. Took a long time for waiter to take our order, then an hour wait for our food to come out after the order was placed and the main meals were salads and a sandwiches. Very highly price with lousy service and mediocre food. Will not return.

Have dined several times at Ybor City location and find it better than St. Augustine. For party of seven, our food came out in three deliveries causing those served first to wait. Food temperature was lukewarm anyway, so they got cold dinners. Was not that crowded. Server was attentive and professional, but frankly felt like kitchen was putting out banquet food vs. made-to-order plates. Food wasn’t bad (other than temp), just nothing special for the price.

The $36 “fresh” grouper was literally hard. I’ve never hd grouper that was so overcooked. For what it was, it was way overpriced and wouldn’t go there again.

We enjoyed our visit overall. Food was good but it wasn’t anything we’d go back for. Ambiance was great. Our waitress was okay but not too friendly, although at the end when she brought our bill she became suddenly cheerful. She never brought my husband the iced tea he ordered and we were charged for it. Crab croquettes could have used a sauce. They were good but dry. Entrees were good and we enjoyed the 1905 salad. Sangria was good, not too sweet. Margarita was $16. Although we had a nice meal we felt the price of it didn’t justify our experience.

Our food was all delicious! My husband and I got the Cubana Completa sampler and key lime pie for dessert. Our server was kind and thoughtful. He made us a pitcher of mojitos that are worth writing about. My kids loved the steak, chicken nuggets and fries followed by scrumptious churros and guava sauce. This is a top notch restaurant that should not be skipped when visiting St Augustine

We had a great experience at the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine . Our server was awesome . She took care of as well as several other small tables along with a huge table . And never missed a beat. Our food was absolutely delicious, as it always is at any Columbia restaurant we’ve visited. We had a pitcher of Sangria, empanadas , abs a chicken dish with sun dried tomatoes. It was all amazing. I would highly recommend!

First off, this is our favorite restaurant. We make reservations here for every occasion and make sure whenever we have relatives from out of state visit, that they make it a point to eat here. Last night was the worst experience we have ever had and are disappointed it happened. The waitress, Katya, was awesome however the cook served us rancid, spoiled steak. Little did we know the table next to us could smell it however we were enjoying our time and didn’t think anything of it until we ate a couple pieces and immediately got sick. Our meal was comped, however we had to practically beg for that to be taken care of. Very poor business in my opinion. It ruined our night and we would have just appreciated a little more care for such loyal customers.

Having reservations for dinner, we were seated as soon as we checked in. Our server, Sean, was friendly, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive. We each had a cocktail; both were balanced and delicious. The empanada appetizer was the best we have ever had! Our dinners were shrimp and yellow rice, and paella….to die for!! Although the meals were more than sufficient portions, we could not pass up desert. The Churros were amazing! This was such a perfect experience. When we return to St. Augustine, we will definitely be dining at the Columbia again!
