9/8/24. The food was good. The service wasn’t. Our waitress gave us the impression that she was in a hurry. Our waitress brought the entrees and salad at the same. She handed us the entrees first and then the 1905 salad immediately after. We sat our entrees to the side so we could eat the salad first. We asked for ice twice and another lady finally brought it. I spoke with the manager on duty about our service. He didn’t seem too concerned and offered to take our food back to the kitchen to stay warm so we could eat the salad. We declined and decided to make the best of the situation. We are locals and have been eating at Columbia since 1989. We have never experienced anything like this before.

First time here. We made a reservation for a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant is really beautifully and tastefully decorated. Our server Gina was wonderful . She was very attentive, but not overly so and gave us good recommendations for things to try. We had cocktails, split 2 tapas, I also had soup, 2 entrees and split 2 desserts. The cuban bread is heavenly. All were outstanding, very flavorful and large portions. We had enough to take home another meal for each of us. Will definitely go back next time we are in St. Augustine so we can try more items on the menu. Overall excellent experience and reasonably priced!

Very underwhelmed on the last visit in St Aug. Cuban bread was overdone and meat in sandwich was cold. The dish my wife had was ok (chicken with rice) and thought the rice was well seasoned but all other sides had to be ordered separately. I did get the Spanish soup which was the food highlight for the meal to me, great flavor and a good value when you pair it with the whole Cuban. Our service was very solid though but with no lunch menu the meal was higher priced than the quality of the offering and I get better Cubans at some other places for half the price. I will say the parking option offered there is a plus as historic area parking is very costly so a planned stop there to eat dis help in that regard but not sure I’ll be back.

We had Thomas as our server, and although we have been here many times before, he was so informational about the food quality and service that they try to maintain. He made the meal very enjoyable and made you feel that anything you were paying was well worth the price, without coming out and saying that.

We visit The Columbia Restaurant for our Anniversary every year and they Never Disappoint. The Food is so tasty and delicious. The service is always friendly and prompt.
