   The chicken croquet's were not like any I ever had. The tiny size of a small hush-puppy, with very wet soggy inside. The bread excellent and the cocktails. Sliced pork was disappointment, not real tender and not much garlic taste to it more lemon taste. The rest was as expected. High prices for mid grade food. I love Chart House in Daytona and the food stands up to prices always very delicious.

   We went out for a date night away from the children. The server was extremely nice and attentive. The food was average. The fish was well cooked and tasty but the rice and the sides were warmed and did not taste fresh. the food came very quickly. We paid 150 for two cocktails, two entrees and 1 appetizer. I would recommend this place for a quick tasty dinner, but the food was not nearly as high-quality as a comparable restaurant where we ate the previous evening. 3 stars for overpriced for the food you get.

   Sangria tasted like water, server said it’s made out of a sangria powdered mix (which they sell in the gift shop)… “Queso” was watered down tomato paste with barely any cheese… we asked the server if the paella was shareable which she replied “yes”, paella took an hour and was NOT shareable . Beyond that, it was good. The place is very pretty !

   We made reservations for 6 PM and we were promptly seated. Our server, Marcia, was excellent, and the food came in a timely manner. Our hors d’oeuvres were fantastic, the mussels and empanadas perfect. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

   We loved having the pitcher of mojitos made at out table. Mojito and food were delicious. Big restaurant with a fun atmosphere. We will be going back!

    As always the food was excellent but it seems that what is becoming normal is absolutely terrible service. I ordered an entree and a small 1905 salad an I did not get my salad until I already had my main dish and it goes without saying the salad should have been served first. Looking at the restaurant and all the empty tables it is evident that they can not have enough waiters and the ones they do have are poorly trained. When I recommend the restaurant I always caution anybody I recommend it to that the service will probably terrible

    Started off with the 1905 salad and warm buttered bread, then we had Ropa Viejo and Brioche. It was all delicious. Service was very friendly and on top of everything!

    Outstanding, just like the original Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. 👍 We had a Palomilla Cuban steak sandwich along with empanadas, and of course, the always delicious 1905 salad.....the best salad ever made! 👏 All in a great location right on George Street in the historic district of Old St. Augustine...

    Ordered paella. ..no seafood just chicken. Waited 40 minutes received a tureen with a chicken dish. . .refused. . .requested paella. ...waited 30 more minutes & got the same food in a paella pan. . .my waiter was kind and as confused as I was over inability to serve paella with chicken. . .I walked out.

    I had the paella, and I felt that it was not very good at all. Others at the table had steak. There were six of us. One person had a chicken dish that she felt was good. Everybody else felt their dinner was substandard. The place looks good and the service was great. The price was fair, but I think the quality of the food justified the cost.

    3rd trip to St A. 1st time at Columbia. 6:30 reservation on a Monday. Server seemed apathetic to making recommendations...really made us feel like it didn't matter if we had a good experience or not. Mojitos were over-sugared and weak. Both tapas were good but had to substitute one entree...Lobster Cannolini...for crabmeat stuffed shrimp. The Pollo Manchego was good but not great. Overall? Not impressed considering the price. Passed on desert. Overall, an underwhelming experience.

    Cafeteria food is the only way I can describe the mushy overcooked broccolini, tough rib eye, so-so crab cakes and watery stuffed mushrooms. The only flavor in the crab cakes came from what little sauce was around it. The steak was medium rare as ordered but was a tough cut of meat. Even the rice was blah. For our 6:00 reservation, we asked for a quiet table, if possible. They seated us at 6:10 at a small bistro table next to a party of 12 and towards the middle. We couldn’t carry on a conversation…after another 10 minute wait, they seated us in the bar area, that oddly was quieter. Neither the hostess, or server brought a special menu that was brought to some other tables. We had already ordered. They were out of their Pinot Grigio “Family wine”. The server suggested a nice alternative for just $1 more. I felt like cattle being herded through their process. It’s all about volume and there is no pretending that it was a nice experience.

    This restaurant is beautiful and fit the bill for the special night out I had planned. My roasted pork was so tender that I could cut it with my fork. Beans and rice were good. The side of plantains was delicious but the side of yuca was so salty I only took one bite. I'm not familiar with yuca but that didn't seem right to me. My husband ordered the lobster cannaloni. Wasn't exactly as expected. Totally smothered in sauce and cheese. Almost looked like a bowl of soup. Biggest disappointment were our cocktails. We ordered the Fresa Gimlet. Vodka, strawberry, fresh basil and lime. So much ice that the drink was 3 sips at best. Disappointing for a $12 drink. Overall satisfied but would have expected a little more for the price.

    Please go here with family went to visit Saint Augustine here to be short in the kitchen. Took a good while to get food out and service was slower than usual white stuff very nice.

    First time to eat at The Colombian. We chose this place on recommendation of a friend. My husband and I were there for our 46th wedding anniversary. I had actually put that when I made the reservation. There was no acknowledgment of it by our waiter or host. We were seated in a tight table setting when I saw much better seating. No problem. We ordered our food and a shrimp appetizer. We both had ice water to drink. Our water glasses were empty, but our waiter was very busy so we didn’t press. The bread and butter were delicious. The appetizer was also very good. I got a salmon dish and my husband ordered a shredded pork dish. There was a lot going on in my salmon. I would probably order something else if we go again. It was good and I wouldn’t discourage anyone from trying it. We didn’t order dessert, as the portions were quite ample. We did bother our waiter for a picture and he was very obliging. All in all a good experience.

    First time to the St Augustine area and this Columbia restaurant. The food was only good/ok, but the noise level was excessive. Had a large wedding group that should have been in a separate room. Our server overall did a good job. We’ve visited the Columbia in the Sarasota area several times and always had an excellent meal, but this location was disappointing.

    We were, unfortunately, seated next to a VERY LARGE AND VERY LOUD party! Then, the party of 3 seated on the other side opted to enjoy THEIR meal with someone via Face Time (and due to their phone volume, we got to be privy to THAT conversation)! Management could have easily stepped to the plate and politely asked the over zealous party to take it down a few notches! And the over-loud cell phone visit?!? I have no words!!! Our $200+ meal for 2 was monumentally disappointing.

    The 1905 salad and shrimp starter were excellent. However the queso de fundido was 3/4 tomato sauce with a patch of cheese. The mahi-mahi entree was over cooked and dry. And all of its components were lukewarm. It seemed that the fish and plantains had been precooked. Warm, juicy food was expected.
