   Excellent food at a reasonable price. Our server, Alonzo, was outstanding!! One of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota.

   Columbia restaurant is always very good. There was a little difficulty with your air conditioning because the condensation was dripping from the ceiling and it dripped on my arm so we asked to move the table which we moved about a foot over from where it was at. it’s really not their fault just being up and running after hurricane is amazing. I asked if there was a crab shrimp rellano that they could do and they did, but it did not come with tortillas so it was more like a soup however it was delicious and the chef made an excellent attempt so I appreciated that. The salad as always way out of this world.

   It was a very busy Mother’s Day and everything went smoothly. My first impression was that the wait staff, including at the bar are all trained in a certain style. They are all pleasant, and move to the side when a customer walks by. Our waiter was very friendly, was familiar with all the dishes we asked about. The food presentation was excellent. Each of us chose different dishes and they were loved by everyone. I like the outside area as it is a little quieter.

   This is where my mom wanted to go on Mother’s Day. It was really crowded and there were a lot of families with small children that were not well behaved not the restaurants fault, but it was loud. The service was impacted by the amount of people. The food is great all as always, staff is working very hard and diligent. Just long lines for Mother’s Day.

   We sat outside because the weather was nice and enjoyable, but the music from the adjacent restaurant was a little loud. We were still able to hold a conversation. The tapas trio was delicious. We always come to the Columbia restaurant for the black bean soup and the 1905 salad. Thank you for a wonderful experience on Mothers Day.

   This was our 2nd year going for Mothers day and had a wonderful time!! Our server Paige was very accommodating and attentive thank you for a wonderful Mothers Day!!

   We had wonderful service and a lovely sidewalk side table. The food was excellent and the special Mother’s Day menu items were very good.

   The food was delicious as always. I was a little disappointed that they didn’t offer the salad/sandwich combo as I didn’t see it on the menu. Unless it was due to today being Mother’s Day.

   Our small table was next to the bar and restroom. Needless to say we couldn’t carry on a conversation, and probably would have had less traffic in the middle of I-75. We have dined here many times and had great experiences. However, this time was the pits. We complained about the location but nothing happened.

    Always fantastic. Much better to get a reservation and even with one, expect a crowd getting seated. It was a lovely Mother’s Day brunch for us - everything was off the menu including a couple of specials for the holiday.
