Columbia Restaurant - SandKey

Food was average. One meal was somewhat cold; the second was slightly overcooked. The waiter never checked on us so we had no opportunity to ask for a re-do. Eventually, we ate half. The Key Lime pie was bland, neither tart nor sweet...just bland. Espresso was hot and nicely done.

E LLP verything was Good until my wife went to the bathroom. No TP and barrels over flowing.

It was very busy and it took over and hour and half to get our food. The food is very very good so it was worth the wait.

Best experience ever! Carlos, our server was amazing! Can’t wait to go back!

It was perfect. Beautiful setting, great service, nice and clean, great table side presentations for drinks and salad. I ate until I thought I was going to puke And still had food to take home. Definite recommendation.

Food was okay. Service was a little rushed. We found it to be unremarkable.

We used OpenTable to get a reservation, which was at 845pm. When we were seated, the waiter promptly let us know they close at 9pm. It definitely set the tone for an awkward meal. Otherwise everything else seemed pretty average.

Love going here. When ever we are in Florida we have lunch or dinner at this restaurant. Love the black bean soup and the famous 1905 salad. I always get those.

Excellent food!! Really enjoyed dinner. A reservation is a must or you probably won’t be seated.

I don’t know happened as we typically get a good meal at the Columbia. But unfortunately the chicken was under done and the yellow rice was not good. I hope this is a fluke!

Louis was our server...he was incredible. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to take care of us. Food was perfect ! Great environment and atmosphere

The food was expensive for what we got. My fried plantains were so refried that they were impossible to eat, I asked to change it for boiled yuca and it was ok but it was swimming in fried garlic and that is usually served with onions. Mine did not have one single onion. I just had one small piece. Could not eat it.
We also ordered a paella for two and it came divided in two plates that were pretty much empty, it looked like a child’s portion.
The stuffed grouper was very dry and no flavor. Our bill was very high $300, and when I added the prices (once I got home) it was not the same amount it should of been, it was way much higher.
I took my family that came out of town and raved about the place, but after that meal, I was embarrassed that it was not good at all.

Delicious food, the restaurant is very beautiful and Chelsea, who took care of our table, was amazing! Highly recommended!

Our expectations were fairly high as my wife and I had both been to the Columbia restaurant in Ebor City. We missed the ambiance as we were seated in a small room off of the main entrance and the couple next to us was allowed to facetime their friends for 15 mins at full volume. The wait staff waited on the table multiple times during this conversation but said nothing. The food was poor...I have a very strong stomach but just in case had taken a strong probiotic before the meal. It was over 24 hours before our stomachs felt well again. Extremely atypical for me to have an upset stomach but we both had extremely upset stomachs so there was something wrong with the food. It was not expensive but not inexpensive either however considering the quality of the food, lack of ambiance, the poor drinks and atmosphere it was disappointing. Definitely not worth the money or time. We will not return. The one piece of positivity was our waitress who did a great job. Sorry...we will never be back to this restaurant.

This is our third Columbia Restaurant that we have had the privilege to eat at. My goal is to keep going back until I've tasted everything on the menu.
Great tasting, perfectly flavored food that always comes to the table hot.
Everyone on the staff are professionals.

Great Spanish cuisine and service. Consistent quality and great location. Try the table made sangria and 1905 salad. Been there dozens of times and will go back again.

As always the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. Service was fast, orders came out right, and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Reservation at 8. They didn’t seat us until 8:40 and drinks were out after 9. Worst seat in the house- in a tiny room that used to be the store- with the kitchen door swinging into us every five seconds. 👎 Make sure you don’t get that afterthought of a room- ask for main dining or outside.

Great restaurant. Go there every time we’re in town... which is about 10 times a year.

Food and service was great. The menu has been pared down some, but the good ones are still there. The nighty specials are really good

Always a great dinner, food and service were excellent. Disappointed an outside table wasn’t available. Was informed a party had been there for five hours, which disrupted later reservations!
People need to be considerate of others! Always try to have a dinner there when in town.

This is one of my favorite restaurants when we visit Indian Rocks Beach in the spring. I love the custom sangria and the Snapper De Rusa is my favorite fish dish, and the yellow rice is fabulous . My husband loved the Black Beans and Rice and we always have the plantains . The servers are exceptional and the deck is lovely on the water. Try any of the Spanish dishes, you will love it !!

Chris was an amazing server! She made our experience so much better and the table side sangria and 1905 salad just added a lot to our night and we will definitely be back!
