Consistently good food. They were extremely busy while we were there so the service suffered some. I love the atmosphere and the huge amount of choices on the menu.
The food was absolutely amazing. We had monitors which were very delicious. Our server was fantastic. Dessert was delicious. The decor and ambiance was great. I would definitely recommend. It is a must!
Food was good as always, not our first time dining in the restaurant. Nice place
Service was good. Food was good not sure what the vegetables where? If it was asparagus I only got the stems and broccoli pieces!
Mine was very hot ! My sons and husbands where not that hot.
Have been going to the Columbia for many Here’s but this was the first time I have been to the one in celebration. It was every bit as good as I remembered and the service was excellent! The 1905 salad is a must have! Loved being able to sit outside. Highly recommend.
The grouper tasted like cod. We enjoyed the quality at the Clearwater location much better
The cooking has progressively gotten worse over the passed few year. It is like the overcooking is now the normal.
One of our favorites. Excellent spot. Never been disappointed.
My husband and I love to go the Columbia Restaurant in Celebration any time we are in the area. It has become our favorite place for authentic cuisine and wonderful atmosphere. We have never had a bad experience in the last three years of dining here. Looking forward to our next trip already.
Columbia was recommended to us by friends back home in NJ. We were anxious to try it. Make a reservation online for 7:45PM but arrived about 20 minutes early and we were seated immediately. Service was good. Food was good but not great. Servings were plentiful. Value was OK for a restaurant this popular. All in all it was good.
Attractive restaurant with a very complete menu for all tastes. The food was delicious and the service was attentive, yet not intrusive. We had plenty of time to chat and were never rushed in any way. Great location in Celebration with easy parking. Plan to return (actually did the next day for lunch - also excellent) the next time we're in Orlando.
EXCELLENT LOCATION IN CELEBRATION FL. NEAR DISNEY SET ACROSS FROM THE LAKE ON FRONT STREET . WE ATE OUTSIDE 4PM 2 PEOPLE ! WENT BACK NEXT NIGHT W/FRIENDS , THEY LOVED IT TOO !
The Columbia is a classic Tampa style Cuban restaurant. They have been around since 1905 & for good reason.
The food is consistent, that salad is a must have, and if you haven't ever tried Cuban food or Florida Style Cuban, this is a great spot to try and get your feet wet.
Everything was great, except the parking! I expected to see valet parking given the location in the center of the Celebration business hub. My spouse has mobility issues. Attempting to find a space within easy walking distance for him was time consuming and frustrating. We were able to drop off one member of our party near the door to let the restaurant know that we were coming - eventually.
We had dinner outside on the porch, which is always nice. My wife had their famous salad and it was delicious. I had the grouper covered with crab meat, unfortunately both were a bit overcooked and dry. Our waiter was courteous but not very engaging.
Had a 4:00 reservation, and upon arrival we were seated promptly. Our waiter was well versed on the menu, attentive, and courteous. We ordered crab cakes for an appetizer, and they were quite good. Not exactly like Maryland crab cakes, but tasty. They had some jump meat but mostly claw. My wife ordered the Salmon Sant Yago, and I ordered the Grouper Jimmy. Both meals were exceptional. We also had the Tango Mango cocktail which was just ok. For desert I had the key lime pie that was also just ok, nothing to shout about, I wouldn’t order it again.Overall our dining experience was pretty good. I will definitely go back when we return to the area.
Love this restaurant!!! Celebration is a charming little town with great restaurants and Columbia is #1 on my list!!
Our service was excellent with service provided by Effrain (sp?) one of us had a fish sandwich not to her satisfaction and was quickly replaced with a full fish dinner at no extra cost. I had crab cakes with saffron rice that was delicious. Others had Cuban sandwiches that were very good. Columbia restaurants have a history from the 1930’s originally in Tampa. Was told by the manager (very nice man) the restaurant in Tampa has several dining rooms and entertains with flamingo dancing. Celebration is a village worth visiting for the ambience.
We are never disappointed when we dine at the Columbia Restaurant. The Sangria is a must have! The dinners are very flavorful.
Great food and service on a very crowded Sunday night. They were very busy and yet maintained a level of service that was admirable!
Overall great we were there to celebrate a birthday.. atmosphere and service was great. Food was good and I would go back
We adore this Spanish Restaurant. Always visit for the authenticity and atmosphere. Online reservations accepted.
This was our second visit to Columbia after an awesome experience the first time. This time, however, the food was just good, not great as it was last time. Maybe it was what we ordered or maybe our expectation was just too high this time around, but it just wasn't the same. Don't get me wrong it was still a good dinner (service was great like always) but the food wasn't spectacular.
First time there, been to the Columbia in St.Armands Circle and the quality and service is once again outstanding. The standards are very high at each of the restaurants and in Celebration it has proved once again to be well worth the visit.
Worth the drive! Celebration is such a beautiful setting! Waitress was phenomenal, friendly, attentive, passionate about her job and the business! We told her we always travel to Sarasota. She told us about the Tampa destination and the flamenco show! Definitely on our list to go there! Thank you for making us feel special Everytime we visit the Colmbia!! Kudos!!
We were seated promptly and promptly ignored for at least 20 min. Server finally came to table and we waited another 15 min for water and wine. Orders taken and again the wait game. Took us forever to eventually get served and they never did honor the birthday celebration we requested. Felt like we were an afterthought and inconvenience to the restaurant. Too bad, their food is great.
Spanish flair! The famous 1905 salad Very hard to beat. Sangria was amazing Every time I'm in Florida I make it a point to get here
We had a wonderful dinner at the Columbia restaurant. The Sangria was perfect. The 1905 salad is always my favorite. Each one of us had a different entrée and all of them very very good. Lori was a fantastic waitress.
Columbia is a favorite go to restaurant. It’s always busy so reservations help. Our table of four were all pleased with the meal and service.
Lovely restaurant with such a varied menu-lots of choices, something for everyone! Whenever we come to the area, we’re sure to get to the Columbia!!
1905 salad and white sangria are outstanding. Tapas are too rich and not best thing on menu. Service was rushed.
Good food always and the best sangria . Always make a reservation since it is a popular spot
Wonderful place in Celebration! Interesting and excellent food. Number one go to place for overall experience.
Enjoyable! We ordered Tapas and all were delicious. Great outdoor space.
Our server Carol was fantastic. I have had Carol as a waitress on prior visit and I am very happy with her service and professionalism.
A pleasure as usual. This is a very special restaurant for us, as we have nothing like this in the Cleveland area.
Our friends were celebrating their anniversary and picked this restaurant. Funny, we did the same thing 2 years ago . I believe we sat one table different this time.
Fantastic like always, I strongly recommend.
We were so happy to find one of our West Coast Florida favorited in Orlando!
The evening and dining was overall excellent, with the exception of one of my guests order. She had a chicken with yellow rice dish and one piece of chicken was not cooked enough.
Always a treat, Columbia never disappoints. Our server was attentive, but not pushy; the food was delicious; and the table by the French door was delightful. Our 8-year old devoured his Cuban sandwich and proclaimed it "the best ever". My husband's ropa vieja was exactly what he was hoping for in flavor and texture. I had the salteado with beef, and while the flavors were delicious, the dish was a little too oily and the beef bordering on tough. Bottom line: Would we go back? Absolutely!
