Service was so good. Really made the night feel special.
The food was great as always but the service was subpar. We were sat at 8:33, finally got a waiter about 10 minutes later, took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. The. We ordered our food which was two appetizers and two salads. At 9:30 we still didn’t have food and our server was nowhere in sight. A couple was sat at about 9:15 and they received their appetizers and salads before we did. Ironically they had the same exact food that we ordered which was crab cakes and crab croquette and salad. Our server finally brought our food at about 9:40 but minus the crab cakes. I inquired as to why we hadn’t received our food and the couple next to us hadn’t been there 30 minutes and managed to get theirs first. He told me that the kitchen was slammed and they pull tickets in whatever order. Again, the food was great, the service could have been better
Always yummy food. Mariachi band is so awesome!
We’ve been here several times. Service is usually fabulous, but last night our server was preoccupied by friends or regulars visiting the restaurant. We’d have to get him from their table to help. Drinks that we ordered never came, but they were on the bill. (So we know he ordered them)
Also, Sangria tasted different. It tasted carbonated. We typically love it, but not so much this visit.
We will be back though. First time we’ve had any issues at all.
Loved the food & drinks so much we’re going back next week. Server seemed a little overtasked.
Great place to eat one of our favorite restaurants
One of the best seafood dishes I ever had
Great restaurant! The food was great and the service was terrific- We will definitely be back.
We eat out 3-4 times weekly and I have dined at most of Columbia’s locations. I use to eat at the Celebration location all the time years ago when I lived in that town.
The atmosphere was definitely electric and vibrant. The food was phenomenal and our server was attentive and immediate. The view whether your inside or out is spectacular. I would definitely return there with any family members that are visiting to impress them.
Wonderful place have to go to whenever we are in Orlando
Great service and the food was out of this world delicious. The art and ambience is so wonderful! I’m so glad we went and will definitely be back!
Don't miss out on this place! Great food, great staff!
It’s was great!!
We really enjoyed our dinner Omar provided excellent service! We hope to have him as a server again! We will be back with our whole family next week. The food is delicious!
Food is always good and the service is also. I had a combination platter with beef, pork and an empanada and my wife had a fish dish and both were great. The bread is also unbelievable. We didn't have the salad this time but it is a must have.
If you are gluten free or celiac, they had a lot to choose from and were very knowledgeable.
Avoid if you have any special needs at all. After a long Covid-induced separation I was finally able to meet up with my brother when he visited Orlando for work. I’ve been a happy customer of the Ybor City and St. Pete’s locations since at least 2008, so I insisted we go to the Columbia in Celebration. Big mistake. The decor is reminiscent of the other locations, but the comparison ends there. The place was understaffed, so everything was slow, but the worst part was the food. I have a food sensitivity which the server—to her credit—tried to accommodate. However, since everything apparently arrived at the restaurant pre-packaged and pre-seasoned, the kitchen could not even mange WHITE RICE without having onion powder in it. Any competent chef or sous chef could have managed it, making me wonder what the kitchen staff is actually doing. The only things I could safely have, according to our server, were shrimp or fish grilled without seasoning mix or the 1905 salad. I love the 1905 salad, so I ordered that, as well as some sautéed shrimp. Apparently they couldn’t even manage to find garlic, salt, or pepper, because my shrimp arrived in a pool of oil and nothing else—not even salt and pepper. I know those basics are available because they were on our table and are used for the 1905 salad dressing, but our server’s suggestion that we add them after the food is served is not the same as having them used in the cooking process. The salad was another disappointment. The iceberg lettuce was wilted and limp, as if it has been frozen. It was terrible.
If you have no special needs, the prepackaged food they serve is tasty (my brother enjoyed his meal), and our drinks were fine. The bread is still good (hard to screw that up?). But before you go to the Columbia, you have to wonder if your dining dollars would be better spent supporting a local chef who actually creates the meals you enjoy rather than having some industrial kitchen warm up pre-seasoned meals.
Ambiance is good and food is delicious!!!
Always a favorite while in the Orlando areaz
We were there to celebrate a new job opportunity for my daughter. The menu is not comparable to what it used to be, the food overall was disappointing. Both my daughter and I ordered the filet , it was thin and over cooked for medium. The server was good but over tasked with tables so are wait was not the usual. This was the second time we have had this kitchen bd of experience. It will be a long time before we return.
We had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent.
We definitely will be back soon.
Great food as always. Love the Columbia.
One of our favorite restaurants! We have been many times and have never been disappointed.
Great food, outside patio is great
Food & drinks were awesome ! Waiter did not come back to ask if we wanted our checks or dessert for about 20+ minutes after we finished. We had to ask for our checks from another waiter.
This was my 1st visit to Columbia since 2016. I was there with my wife, brother & sister in law. We were in Kissimmee for a work event and I wanted to take them to someplace special. What better place than Columbia. Nothing has changed, for the good. The service was fantastic and the food, oh my, the food. We started with a pitcher of Mojito's. Yum! The bread was just I remembered it from my 1st visit to Ybor City in the 80's.
I had the black bean soup, a favorite of mine. Columbia's was definitely in my top 5. For entrees I had the Roast Pork “a la Cubana, and my wife had the Shrimp Salteado. Just wonderful. The brother in law had the ribeye and said it was one of the best he had ever had. As a true carnivore, this is a high compliment. My sister in law had the Cannelloni de Langosta and loved every bite. We were so full we had to pass on dessert.
All in all, a wonderful meal and experience. The perfect getaway from the Disney empire (although Celebration was built by Disney in 1996).
We dined to celebrate a High school graduate. It was some of the best food we’ve ever had. Fantastic
Great restaurant. Marlon was great. We would recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Celebration. All in our party loved their meal. We plan on going back before our vacation is over.
Great restaurant, good food, excelent service.
Cornel our waitress ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The town is beautiful!
Our reservation was 5/30 at 8:45pm. If you can't accommodate diners at that hour, then don't accept reservations that late. Our Server was Maria G. #591, a Little Ray of Sunshine (NOT). Our appetizers, entrees, and salads all arrived AT THE SAME TIME. I am not a Karen, but even I mentioned it to Maria. She said, "The kitchen is closing." When we asked if one of the entrees could sit under a hot lamp so it did not get cold while we were enjoying our apps and salads, at first she just stared at us, then whisked it away in a huff. Less than eight minutes later a gentleman brought the plate back to us, (still before we were ready, but we took it as we were afraid if we didn't we would never see it again). The salads were missing the garlic and the Worcestershire Sauce. When we asked for dessert, they said the kitchen is closed. IF YOU CAN'T ACCOMMODATE A DINER FROM BEGINNING TO END, DON'T ACCEPT AN 8:45pm RESERVATION. My 73-year old husband is not the healthiest, so going out is a rare treat. He honestly was talking about the bread pudding all day, the one that he didn't get to order. I even asked if I could have it to go and was told no. My heart broke for my husband who was looking forward to this out and was not met with friendliness. I will never go back and I have been going here since 2000 when we moved to Florida.
Loved the ambiance. Restaurant was busy and running a bit behind on reservations. Our waiter was very helpful and made recommendations. Our appetizers/tapas were okay, though. Ordered the scallops and their shrimp (Gambas Al Ajillo) and honestly could’ve done without them. The shrimp was juicy but flavor was pretty bland. Scallops were good but nothing special. Now on to the main entrees. Husband and I both got grouper dishes, the Grouper Jimmy & Baked Stuffed Grouper. The portions were quite big and we both received very generous portions of the grouper. Both dishes, the dishes was cooked perfectly: juicy & flaky. The “Jimmy” came in a lighter, lemon butter sauce. Blue crab meat was fresh. Ideal fish dish for those that like the freshness of seafood. My dish, the baked stuffed grouper, is definitely a bit more savory & rich. That tropical passionfruit butter sauce was so good and creamy. Not too tart nor sweet. Good balance. If you like creamy sauces, this is your dish. Overall, great service & ambiance. Our grouper dishes were the stars of the evening for sure.
Food and ambiance were great! Service was average. Our waitress was not able to handle her section in a way to keep a good flow. Salad and bread were brought out to the table and sat on a tray next to our table for 10 minutes before it was served to us. Which made it so when our main course came out we were still in the middle of eating our salads. Management walked by several times during this occurrence and never looked twice or offered to pick up the slack of the waitress. Overall Columbia is a consistently great place to dine, just an unfortunate situation for us on this visit.
Food and service were superb as always
A go to place for good food, good service, good ambiance
Lovely experience. Would certainly go out of my way to return here. Hostesses were accommodating and Tatiana provided brilliant service. Quality of food spoke for itself. Thanks!
Food was delicious, Seemed a little under staff, however, Over all pleasant dining experience.
If you’re looking for a relaxed grown-up dining experience away from the hustle & bustle of the amusement parks, come to the Columbia restaurant in Celebration. It’s only 15 min from the parks, but it’s located in serene Celebration.
I’ve been to other Columbia restaurant locations, and the Celebration location is elegant & calm - dark wood, high ceilings. The service here was excellent - not rushed. Specialities are sangria, gazpacho & 1907 salad. Do not skip the 1907 salad! Shared the mushroom-spinach tapas, shrimp tapas and Grouper ‘Jimmy’ entree.
