Family-owned and operated for more than 116 years, Columbia has earned acclaim for its old-world charm and award-winning Spanish/Cuban cuisine.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the dining room.

Our server was attentive and provided good information on our menu choices. We had our 6 &8 year old grandchildren with us. She was especially gods with them.

We do not visit this area without eating at the Colombia Restaurant. It is my favorite spot! Don’t forget to buy some coffee to take home with you! My friends now have me bringing it home for them it’s so good!!

We have always enjoyed dining at Columbia and have been to several of their locations. Our waiter Terry was exceptional, talkative and informative. The food, especially the 1905 salad, was excellent. It was our anniversary and we were presented with a complimentary dessert(flan)! So good! This will always be one of our favorite places to dine.❤️

Very disappointed. Have dined at the St. Augustine location and always had a great experience. Sadly, this location has some work to do. My scallop tapas dish was swimming in so much butter I couldn’t taste anything else and the breadcrumbs, of which there was too much, had a sweet flavor that was not pleasant Certainly not worth $24. My husband’s snapper was cut incorrectly, was overcooked and the rice was mushy, probably because it was sitting in the liquid from the snapper.

This is one of my favorite restaurants whenever I stay at our timeshare. There is something about the ambiance and decor of the restaurant that I love. The artifacts and artwork from Spain and Cuba makes it feel like I have taken a step away from America. The food is excellent. We had the Empanadas de Picadillo which are chock full of tasty meat filling. The story of these empanadas is that the founders' mother and grandmother, Adela Hernandez Gonzmart, always had her empanadas ready when they visited her. The empanadas start with her recipe for picadillo, made with spiced ground beef, garlic, tomato, onions, raisins and olives, wrapped in two pastry turnovers. We shared Columbia's legendary salad tossed tableside. Crisp iceberg lettuce with julienne of baked ham, natural Swiss cheese, tomato, olives, grated Romano cheese, Lea & Perrins ® Worcestershire sauce and our famous garlic dressing. The award-winning salad won honors from USA Today as "One of 10 Great Places to Make a Meal Out of a Salad." The signature salad, named for the year the restaurant was founded in Tampa's Latin district of Ybor City, was inspired by immigrants to the Cigar City: Romano cheese from the Sicilians and the famous garlic dressing used by Cubans to marinate fresh roast pork, plus Florida tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, julienne of baked ham and Swiss cheese. Our main dishes were the Grouper Jimmy (Boneless fillet of fresh grouper, seasoned, grilled and topped with fresh blue crab meat, drizzled with lemon butter sauce. Served with yellow rice and asparagus) and El Combo de Cuba which is a sample of the flavors of Cuba which is a feast of roast pork, boliche, empanada de picadillo, platanos, black beans, yuca and yellow rice. I had a Mojito which was tall, refreshing and delicious. Since the Columbia opened its doors, people have enjoyed this flavorful and refreshing beverage made with Bacardi Superior Rum, muddled hierabuena (mint), lime juice and sparkling water. We went for my birthday luncheon and everything was fabulous, as always. Our server Jay was warm, inviting, and helpful. Our meal and libations were excellent! Jay even brought me out a special dessert and he and his fellow servers presented it with a song. Highly recommend!

I had a great time with 6 family members. Andrew as our server- and we tend to dine here once a month- he seemed new at the place. he was very personable and attentive to our special dietary needs. The food was always fabulous, that is why we return often. We live 45 minutes away - so this is a special place for us to return to. We have enjoyed dining at all the locations for The Columbia. The host stand always has very attentive hostesses and hosts. We enjoy dining outside-which was hot at 5pm in Orlando. My regards to the chef and his staff. The food is why we return!! 1905 salad is always my favorite! Every plate is spectacular
