The food overall was very good. However my husband got the appetizer with the wings and ribs and the ribs were so charred he could not eat them. He, of course, did not bring this to the attention of our server or chef. I got the small prime rib and it was very good. The shrimp tacos I can highly recommend!

Three of us were first time diners. Had happy hour drinks at bar first as we arrived early.
We were seated on time. Our server was attentive. Both of our appetizers, stuffed mushrooms and fried green tomatoes were good. Two of us had the prime rib which was cooked as ordered and was juicy and tender with minimal fat. The pasta entree with shrimp was also good.

For excellent steaks and what I consider the best French Onion Soup where they make their own beef broth, Colorado's Prime Steak is the restaurant to dine at. Casual atmosphere with top quality food, you will not be disappointed.

We loved the prime rib it was perfectly prepared and super tender. Be sure to try the Aspen freeze for dessert!

Arrived at the restaurant only to be told that they couldn’t find our reservation. Even though we have a reservation we had to sit and wait for a table when there was plenty of open tables. The food was mediocre and overpriced.

We were celebrating my sons birthday he made me promise not to complain, but our steaks weren't good at all! I had a ribeye it was very thin and tough, my sons steak looked like a pork chop! Our reservation wasn't with the host we were able to be sat right away though it was not busy

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was. We knew we were going to the Sanford airport to pick up family and looked nearby ~ so glad we did. Jenne was our server and was very attentive. I had the smoked prime rib and thought it was the best I had ever had. Really enjoyed it. Husband has a rib eye and enjoyed as well. Service was wonderful and un-rushed. Food was wonderful. Ask for the rattlesnake bread - it was yummy.

When I walked in I was concerned about the ambiance being somewhat dated but when our dinners were served the steaks were outstanding !!!!! The filet melted in my mouth.

Perfect for family get together. Good food, service and atmosphere.

No-frills, charming and personable. Food is not a perfect 10 but it sure does come darn close. Many have hailed Colorado's as the Best Restaurant in Sanford and while that might be hyperbolic, it darn well deserves consideration. Not sure why it took me so long to eat there, but I certainly will be returning.

Your food is always GREAT! The service is usually Great. Our waitress this time was superb and listened to my requests and delivered exactly what I wanted. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Best kept secret in Sanford. I was shocked that I never had dinner here. It was GREAT!! and the service was wonderful. I'll be back in the near future.

Server not at the top of her game

Very easy to make reservations, table ready on time, food very good. I asked for extra napkins, the waitress brought me one small paper napkin, did not bring my partner any. Did not ask if that was OK or if I needed additional napkins, just laid it down and walked off. She did keep my tea glass filled, that was good. Waitresses running around like crazy but the two at the front desk just stood there and talked to each other for at least 30 minutes. One of them finally cleaned off a table in front of where we were sitting. I am a manager and my motto is "If you have time to lean, you have time to clean." I have been to your restaurant several times, love it and will continue to choose it for dinner when I want a great steak. dh

We are long-time customers of Colorado's and go there when we can. Food is always excellent and the service as well. The prices for quality food are reasonable comparatively speaking. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is my new favorite place to go my only regret is it took me 20 years to go and fine out how great the food and service is. Portions are huge and every thing we tried was outstanding. I traveled the country for work for 19 years eating out 3 to 5 days a week and have favorite places across the country this is central Florida's pick.

We always come there for our Saturday night dinner after a full day at the softball fields . Enjoy the atmosphere, waitstaff, food and have never been disappointed. Thank you everyone.

Best food in the area by far. Everything is fresh and the portions are large.

Colorado's Prime Steak's menu includes homemade food. Their soups, salad dressings and appetizers are made fresh - nothing from the freezer. Service is friendly, the food is good and it's the perfect place to go with the family or a group of friends. The restaurant is old but cozy.

Colorados Has great Prime Rib and I have recommended this place to everyone I know

Best steak, prime rib, and filet values in Seminole County. Excellent quality for the money. The aged prime rib end cut is a must. We go once a month and have never had a bad meal.

I had a great birthday party dinner with almost 30 people. We only had two servers, but they did an awesome job. Thank you for setting up my balloons, decorations, and serving the cake!!! My guests who had not dined here before were impressed. This place "rocks" in Sanford. Congratulations on 25 years of great service!

The food was good, service was great. The decor is dated but clean. Menu has many great options. The salad was fresh and dressing was good. Our steaks were a little dry and sides were good. Nothing fancy, very 80s decor but good food and service. I would recommend it.

Outstanding food...best prime rib ever. The salad dressings home made are delicious. Been several times and always an excellent dinner at a reasonable price. Personable and friendly service... Favorite neighborhood gem.

Steaks were over cooked and not the way they were ordered. Second visit for a birthday dinner and it was not as good as our first a few months ago. Chef must be different or not consistent.
