Colombo's Italian Steakhouse & Jazz Club
From the valet who parked my car to the lady that served us (Bri) it was an excellent evening and the food was very good. We can hardly wait to go back.
We had a birthday dinner celebration that was outstanding with the great food, music, and service. Thanks!!
Great food. Loud Blues/jazz, but we expect that!
Got there early, had a few drinks, ordered some appetizers. Our service was good. The food was good.
Over all, the evening was enjoyable.
Lovely, charming ambiance. Food and drinks were good. The service really put a damper on things.
Wilted lettuce. Watery shrimp scampi. Old tasting filet mignon
Love love love columbos! Everything about it... From the service to the music to the food it's just our go-to place
It's kind of an old dive place. The bread was a disappointment, the linguini and clams was ok, as was the scampi. Just not enough flavor (garlic) or otherwise. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great!
It was a very pleasant experience. The musician on the piano was very good. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was in the funky-old-dark restaurant style, but it was what we wanted. Sometimes you just need that. :-)
Breakfast is great. The service couldn’t be better. The build your own omelette is presented perfectly. The coffee is strong. There is no rush. You enter into a windowless roadhouse where time stops and the only thing that matters is for you to enjoy yourself.
Alana was a gem of a server. So beautiful, smart, kind and considerate. There was nothing she didn't do for us when we asked.
The food was SUPERIOR! Prices REALLY FAIR. QUALITY...really Italian! The Scream Room the BEST!
Heard your ad on 870. Finally made reservations and went. WE WILL BE BACK with our friends!
Thank you for having us! My husband is a full blooded Italian and loved the place. His name is Bill Capone!
A great old local gem with classic Italian food and tasteful live music.
we go here often .. love the food, staff especially Bree and Mariah , and we love the live music... have never been disappointed...
Good service, food very good and nice music!
Delicious food, tasty garlic bread and the drinks were perfect. Live music was not to loud and the ambiance was nice.
i found the entrees to be only fair. the calamari appetizer was excellent, slight breading, nicely hot, obviously very fresh. the shrimp cocktail was also very good. my meatballs and spaghetti was fair. disappointed in the size, number, and taste of the meatballs. the wine list needs a lot of help as there was nothing that appealed to us so we each had a mixed drink. service was very good. prices fair. music was ok but loud making it difficult to carry on a conversation
Service was slow when we arrived; it seemed like here was only one server. Then she got some help from busser and hostess. After that it was better, however, the food, Calamari and Bruchetta was very salty.
Loved it! Always have a Fabulous time!
I was pleasantly pleased that this restaurant was just the thing we needed. The lights were muted but not dark. The menu had fabulous fattening stuff but things for less starving people. Our salads were fresh and our entrees seasoned just right. It was OK we were there too early for the jazz but maybe another time that would really round out the evening.
Excellent service and great food and entertainment !
As usual, our Thursday date night was perfect. We were expecting our favorite trio "Trifecta" to play but instead a substitute band played and we were quite impressed. The piano player was awesome. Thank you Colombo's for a yet another fantastic evening.
It is a good neighborhood restaurant and Jazz club. The noise level is due to the live music, which has been good jazz so far. Every neighborhood should have a restaurant like this where you can go when you do not feel like cooking at home. It is a no-nonsense old fashion place , very pleasant and you do not feel they overcharge you.
Great overall experience I will definitely be back.
We had a great birthday party! As the birthday girl I was disappointed I couldn't have the lobster because it would hold up our table and we had people behind us so boo hoo no lobster for me. But I got a complimentary glass of wine, so there you go! I'll go back for lobster! Hubby raved about his porterhouse steak, and all other food delicious! We'll be back!
Music a little loud for table conversation
We visited for our first time on a Saturday night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and our server was awesome in making sure we had everything we needed with a party of 7. We had a GREAT first experience and will definitely be coming back soon!
such a delightful meal!! The food was fantastic, wine was good and Piano was awesome!
The food was absolutely delicious! I would definitely come again.
Which it is closer. Great area easy to find much better then the advertised radio commercials
Not really sure I would recommend your restaurant. The noise level was tolerable because I asked for
the quieter room. But we were the only ones dining there and people kept coming in and out, bringing
instruments, yelling and disrupting our conversation. It was our first time at Colombo's. The garlic
toast was quite greasy, but the flavor was tasty. My vegetable lasagna tasted VERY dry and looked
liked it had been prepared for lunch and just reheated (not very hot) for my order. My daughter's steak
was soooo tiny, she literally, finished in about 5 bites. I realize a lot of fancy places offer side dishes at
extra cost, but one could go to the Olive Garden and get more food for less money. I usually don't ever
write reviews because I know every place has a night where things don't go the best. But with so many
problems, it was not a very enjoyable dining experience. But our waitress was quite good and very nice.
Very pleasant. Music was great and the food was delicious!
Great food and service. Reminded me of New York!!!
Columbo’s looks retro-cool when you walk in, but the live music is so loud, you don’t want to be in the front dining room. Since we were with friends and wanted to have a conversation, we were seated in the back dining room which is bright lights and no ambiance. The acoustics were so bad it was only a little quieter back there (but it was better when a couple of loudmouths left). The food was average and I think the salad dressings were from bottles. I know the croutons were from a package. The owners of this restaurant, which has been around since 1954, need to gut the place and remodel so guests can all enjoy the live music, close to the band or in the back, and share the same atmosphere.
We always have a wonderful experience dining at our favorite restaurant. Thursday's our date night so the jazz band Trifecta was a real treat!
Music it too loud. Otherwise it continues to be one of my favorite spots.
I can’t stand going to this place. The only reason we went is because we didn’t want to wait for Casa Bianca’s and our son can listen to the piano player.
The best part about dinner was the garlic bread. The food is bland and is made for people 60 years old and up. We ordered mac and cheese for my son and it was like cheese soup with macaroni. My wife’s pasta had so much garlic that she stopped eating it. I had a chicken Caesar that was at least a chicken Caesar (it was a safe choice.)
Great service, delicious food, great drinks, nice decor & ambiance & fantastic entertainment
As an Italian I thought it would have a quiet dark ambiance but it was crazy loud I could even here the live jazz music which is why I went. If you want a crazy loud atmosphere it's cool but if your looking for dark quiet and romantic this is not the place
Always an enjoyable evening of dining and entertainment.
