Colombo's Italian Steakhouse & Jazz Club
This might be my new favorite spot. Delicious Italian favorites, good drinks, and great atmosphere. Warm service, beautiful red leather booths and great Wednesday night jazz.
Definitely enjoyed the live music and entertainment. We wanted to sit in a booth but apparently they were reserved according to the hostess. Monday nights are usually regulars with the booths but it did seem like they were giving booths to particular guests. We did attempt to sit in a booth but they plugged is in next to the live entertainment. We have an 8 year old and 5 year old, which was way too close to the stage and the sounds were blasting.
Next time we will reserve a booth that looked cozy and comfortable. We settled with a table that was close to the entrance. The food was good and the service after the hostess was outstanding. As first timers, we appreciated the regulars as they spoke to us and admired how our kids were in tune with the music. We will be back to try other things on the menu. I do appreciate their kids menu. The Mrs enjoyed the Linguine with clams, while my steak pasta was decent.
Come for the food, stay for the music!
Loved the food. The room was a little cold so some left their coats/sweaters on. The wait staff was very good and caring.
Can't go wrong with this place, it's our date night go to!
Enjoyable experience as always. Good food and good music.
We arrived very late at night (11pm) yet the food and ambiance was great, as usual. Sadly, the service was very poor. The waitress never checked up on us. We had to get her attention for a refill on our drinks. We sat there for a while before our dishes could be picked up. We had to ask the busboy for our check. It was very disappointing.
I love this restaurant, the waitress was polite, the jazz band was amazing and the people around us eating, were calm Food was delicious
A perfect place for good food, and a "catching up" luncheon with one or a few friends. Columbos is my go to place most of the time when I like to impress people.
Highly recommended for good food, service and music
Food is so so, music is nice not great. Service is good.
We had a very enjoyable time at Colombo's last Saturday evening. The food was delicious and a good value. Our server was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the dining room is special.
Love this place...great food cozy and romantic and live music
Classic Italian vibe, great ravioli, and awesome live music!
Like a dinner with Sinatra in the neighborhood
Went with a group of friends and my wife. It was the 1st time any of us have been there. I hear thier commercial on the radio all day long. Finely made it. We were ALL pleased with everything, especially the chicken parmesan.
This is simply a wonderful restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. The live music added to the quaint ambiance of the place. Make sure to get a table in the main dining room for the best experience. I would recommend this place particularly for a special occasion.
Colombo's is a great, old time, Italian neighborhood restaurant. Lots of regulars. Good bar. Great live music. Friendly staff and wait people. The food is very good, although we always order the same things: Sam's hand rolled lasagna. The house wine is pretty good for the price. the only negative is parking, very small lot, but they now have free valet parking on many nights. Can't go wrong here.
Loved this place! Old School Italian restaurant, reminded me of an East Coast restaurant.
Good food, service and ambiance. The Jazz trio added to the ambiance.
This is a good old fashioned neighborhood Italian restaurant, the price is reasonable and the food and service very good plus there is a Jazz band most nights and Sunday lunch time.
Poor service, food just ok. Waitress kept disappearing. Not likely to return.
This was my second time at Columbo's. I would highly recommend it. My waitress forgot a few things, but in the end they were not that big of a deal and I would come back for sure.
The ambience was nice, including the live music, a pleasant and fun but far from flawless piano player. However, the food was simply awful, with the small exception of the free garlic bread which was pretty decent. My chicken marsala was dry and tasteless, my wife's Steak Diane was a very small step above a hamburger steak, and our sides were bad too. I even looked around and nothing anyone else was eating even looked appetizing. Do NOT come here for the food or you will be sorely disappointed.
Always enjoy the dining experience and will continue our weekly dinners. Music volume could be lowered a bit. It seems to be getting louder and having a conversation across the table is difficult. Perhaps the Jazz Club volume can be saved for after 9pm.
The food was really good. We had creamy chicken Marsala (best I've ever tasted), baked mostachoilli with mozzarella and an extra side of fresh meatballs--delicious and enough that food for two meals, and the ribeye with a simple baked potato. And, can't forget the desserts: chocolate ganache cake is to die for and the spumoni ice cream is a thing of beauty (looks like a triple layer cede cake) and was fabulous. You can pass on the mango mousse cake.
The jazz was good, but loud. The hostess was nice enough to move us to the back room where we could talk and the music played in the distance.
Went for aunt & uncles 25th wedding anniversary. They loved the old time vibe and kitsch factor. And the live music was terrific. Excellent steaks.
Very poor service. Waitress took 120 minutes from taking our order to bringing our dinner. Other diners were having similar problems. Never again.
We enjoyed our double-birthday celebration with the family. Had great meals and a great time. They were kind enough to present us birthday boys with spumoni 'on the house' that we could share.
Great food and service. They never disappoint us! Good entertainment. Mariah our server is the best!
Seems like the staff has been there a while. I always find that to be a catch 22 - need motivated new staff to push the veterans but too many newbies can kill the restaurant. Would like to see the busser receive a little more training, he brought our waters, 2 in each hand, pinching them together by the inside rim. Also he lost a piece of bread when delivering and just left it there in the middle of the aisle. Overall - good food, good atmosphere, great ambiance - I would go back and hope for better service.
As always, good food and entertaining show for a Sunday evening!
Long time diner here.
The special was not particularly special.
But everything else was great. Next time I will stick to ravioli Bolognese.
Great food with very nice live music. Classic Italian dishes with great steak and lobster.
band was fun
Great music.. great food
Everyone was beyond helpful at Colombo's. We got there just a little early to decorate the table with balloons. The jazz combo was awesome and took requests. The staff was so attentive and managed our party of 10 (and the birthday boy's expectations) swimmingly. The bill was infinitely reasonable. What a neighborhood gem!
Fantastic food and service. Sunday Jazz night is awesome.
We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The piano player on Tuesday was very talented and funny. He helped make the evening most enjoyable. We’ll be back!
Especially pleased with our server Jesus (Jessie). Very professional and personable. Would ask for him specifically on future visits.
Very nice dining experience with friends. Food is very good and the ambiance is old school. It’s our kind of place where we can relax and enjoy the music, cocktails and the food.
