We do not accept reservations for Brunch.
We had the Hot Chicken and it was amazing! This was such an unexpected, pleasant surprise! We happened upon this restaurant after not being able to get reservations at our first choice and I’m so glad it happened the way that it did. We will be back!
Very good!! Although a little loud and the host was rude to us
The Collins Quarter always provides a combination of excellent food and customer service. Amir, Joey, and Liz provide awesome customer service, while Nick creates amazing drinks, and Cameron creates incredible dishes in the kitchen. The Collins Quarter is one of our favorite Savannah restaurants because of the people, the setting, and the wonderful food and drink!
VERY dark. I could barely see my food. Excellent cocktails.
While the food was really good the restaurant seemed extremely cramped. This would be ok for normal dining but not ideal for a dinner date. It felt like I was eating dinner with the people sitting next to us. Also when the server was helping another table is butt would be in my partners face.
Beautiful place, excellent service, delicious food, great drinks
Wine list for red was not good. Need a better selection per glass. Purchased a bottle & was not happy with it either . Food was very good !
We went there for dinner and liked it so much we went back the next day for brunch! It was really great, creative cuisine in a beautiful environment with friendly and personable waitstaff! (Eli was especially entertaining!)
Impeccable service and great food! We will be back!
Service & food was excellent.
Great dinner menu, Collins board with cheese and meats was delicious. Hamburger was Devine beet salad was soso. Overall loved the cozy place.
Wonderful experience . The hot chicken is to die for. The only negative thing is our table was extremely close to the next table, like so close we felt like we were awkwardly part of their first date.
Great little spot and I can’t say enough about the food and wine. Service was on point and I will go back. If you looking for a local place, this is your spot.
Beet salad, shepherd’s pie, old fashioned. 😍 amazing.
Very early NYE dinner music was so loud couldn’t hear table conversation
Amir was awesome! His knowledge of wine so immense! Food was also outstanding; we will be back
I ordered steak. It was not hot. The waiter, Joey from New Jersey, took it back and replaced it. Delicious!
Very disappointed got sat in the back rather then the front kinda felt like a basement. There was all big parties back there and one 2 top which we were and so especially felt out of place. Food was ok, nothing special or different. Shepherds pie was dry and salty. My husband was surprised I picked this restaurant cause I'm a big foodie and I travel around to eat, however I did my research and read their reviews and they were all great so it was worth a shot....needless to say we won't be back nor would we recommend this place.
We were pleasantly surprised the first time we went. Everything was so good that we came back two days later. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Wonderful meal! My Husband said it was the best chicken he has ever had.
Food was great! The hostess tried to put us in the back room which was highly lit and had no atmosphere. The front was not yet full so we asked to move to the more romantic front area. The food was very good and the waitress was very good. I can see why they hired the hostess as she was extremely attractive but she messed up with us. Too bad. A place where the food is this good doesn't need to depend on eye candy. They should let her go and get a real professional.
Wonderful meal, freat service (and suggestions). The seafood and dessert were incredible.
Great food, great service. Loved the wine, Shepherd’s Pie was divine.
We had a great experience there. The scallops were the best scallops I have had since fresh from the Gulf. The combinations of flavors were unique and more than I could imagine. We sat next to the bar, although we had a reservation, so the foot traffic around our table was honestly the only thing to complain about. Great service and experience overall. My favorite for brunch and now dinner as well!
Four of us had dinner at Collins Quarter for the first time on Dec 23rd -- appetizers, salads, entrees and dessert. Everyone enjoyed every dish that was served. We returned on Dec 26th for lunch for outstanding salad and burger. Will definitely dine there again next time in Savannah.
Great place for a date night!
Great food and service!
Great food, great service, cool atmosphere. Very few people there on a Thursday night, and we too
Had dinner this past Tuesday. The restaurant has very poor lighting with a small candle providing the only lighting. I understand that they are trying to set an intimate mood but I feel it was too dark. I didn’t want to use the light from my phone to read menu or view our dishes when it came out but really had no choice. The server was good but when I asked for a house Cabernet when I was waiting for my friend, she said sure but it’s $15. I was kind of shocked when she said that and didn’t know if she was saying that because I couldn’t afford it or what. As far as the menu is concerned, they had 8 entrees and they were out of the seasonal fish and the vegetarian option, which means they were out of 25% of menu. When my friend wanted to order the barramundi, the server stated they were out of that but was replaced by rainbow trout. My thing is if you had rainbow trout, why not use that as your catch and prepare it differently?
My friend had the steak tartare, hot chicken and I had the wagyu NY Strip. They were all very, very good and would definitely recommend these two entrees. The dessert, the Oreo pot de creme, was ok but nothing to rave about.
Great food and service! We were visiting Savannah and a friend recommended the restaurant for a casual meal. The burger is excellent as was the beet salad and spicy chicken.
Picked this restaurant from reviews. Great pick, I was a single for pre-theatre dinner, greeted with a smile, well taken care of by waiter and other staff members. Suggestions made and questions answered. It's lively small venue and I thinks would be a great place to go on a regular if I lived in Savannah. Thank you for great dinner with really good glass of wine. I'm always impressed when a restaurant is attentive to a single guest (especially older lady) as much couple or larger group! Thank you!!
A little too noisy for dinner conversation. We should probably eat downstairs. The food and wine were terrific!
Best meal we had in Savannah! Love the food and the space. Good service, local produce appreciated.
We went there for Thanksgiving dinner. We had dinner reservations and were seated immediately. Service was good. The waiter and manager were friendly and attentive. The steak and turkey that we ordered were flavorful and portions were generous.
We dressed for dinner even though the restaurant states that attire is casual. Everyone else there was definitely dressed casual. The restaurant was cramped and noisy. The music was loud. I was expecting a more festive, holiday environment. I do not recommend the restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner, but it seemed like a great place for gathering with friends for a good casual lunch or dinner.
Thanksgiving meal was ok not great
Wonderful cuisine, service and location. Easy stroll from historic Savannah hotels. Highly recommend!
I am extremely disappointed in my experience at Collins Quarter. My girlfriends and I were visiting Savannah for the weekend and read in multiple places that Collins Quarter was a "must". We were not able to grab a brunch reservation so opted for dinner instead. Immediately when we got there, the hostess stated that they overbooked and may not have a table for us. The hostess asked if we wanted to sit outside. It was 40 degrees; we said no. They did end up finding us an inside table, but from there it only got worse.
Our waiter had a snotty air about him. After being there for 45 minutes and still not receiving our cheeseboard, we politely asked him about it. He gave us such an attitude starting that they carving it and preparing it, etc., rather than just apologizing for the delay. How long does it take to put charcuterie and cheese on a board?! The cheese board was fine, but nothing great, and the entrees were a total disappointment. My shepherds pie was very good, but my friend's scallops smelled and tasted fishy and my other friend's burger was basically inedible. We were still hungry so asked for dessert and opted for the chocolate chip skillet cookie. The dessert was the best part of the meal, however, it was not chocolate chip, but rather peanut butter white chocolate chip. I love peanut butter so it was perfect for me, but what if one of us had a peanut allergy?! Aside from the fact that this is not what the waiter said. Meanwhile, the entire night the table next to us was treated to the royal service, e.g., multiple shots, drinks, desserts. Overall, it seemed like they catered to locals while were not welcoming to visitors. I would not recommend this restaurant to others.
I went here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. I’ve come here before for brunch but never dinner and the food was SO GOOD. Our waiter Amir was so sweet and when he learned it was my birthday he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was wonderful.
This restaurant has really warm, attentive service and a very appealing atmosphere. It has a very limited menu though, and when we arrived at 7 pm two of the menu items weren’t even available. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie board and a salad. The salad was fine. The cheese board was supposed to include three kinds of cheese, two kinds of meat, pickles, honeycomb etc. It came with only two kinds of cheese: Swiss and Parmesan, both uninteresting and of the grocery store variety, some cornichons from a jar (I know because I have the same jar) and some run-of-the-mill prosciutto and salami. No honeycomb, though there was a good smoky-tasting jam. For $20, it was kind of depressing; a better cheese board can be assembled from Costco! Anyway, a nice place, cheese board could definitely use some attention.
