Food and service were good. However, disappointed that I could not get a coffee as the Barista was off at 7:45 at night. Really!? Why offer an extensive coffee menu and not be able to serve same! Disappointing
My husband and I celebrated our last night (first timers here at the restaurant and in Savannah) and it was amazing. We shared the house salad, hot chicken, down under chicken sandwich added fried egg and bacon and avocado creme brûlée!
Delicious food. Try the fried green tomatoes!
Great food - but WAY too noisy upstairs. Clocked it at an average of 92 decibels with Soundprint. That level means it will cause hearing loss with extended exposure - and means its impossible to have a conversation with more than 2 people. Downstairs we were able to have a great conversation with 5 people. Same great food and service - but the room is dingy in comparison to the high style of upstairs.
Collins Quarter is my favorite restaurant in Savannah for a casual everyday meal....especially brunch. I love the consistence in both great food and friendly service. When the weather permits their pet friendly patio is one of the best. Collins Quarter also has a walk up window for coffee and drinks making it super convenient when on the go.
Food, drink and service were excellent as always. Best duck I've ever had!
Charming ambiance, amazing food, and great service. My wife and I have enjoyed dinner at Collin’s Quarter several times and have never been disappointed. This has become our favorite restaurant.
Loved it so much
Excellent service and ambiance. Maybe a little sound paneling is needed to calm the din, but I’d go back in a heartbeat.
Started with breakfast, stopped again for a mid day drink and ended up having dinner as well. All 3 times were great....food and drinks; breakfast and dinner. So good, going back tomorrow.
Another enjoyable experience
Food was great but took too long to be served.
Thought it was good, but expected more.
very interesting atmosphere with an unique ambiance
Wonderful manager, wonderful staff. We had a little delay in our drink order that was handled by going above and beyond to see to it that the rest of our experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant because in addition to good food you get a professional staff that is full of energy.
We were recently in Savannah on a girls trip and chose Collins Quarter for dinner. Our food was outstanding, great service and our drinks were the best on the entire trip. We were late for our reservation and they were very accommodating. I want to come back and do brunch! I would recommend to anyone!
The presentation is great with really good portions! We shared an appetizer, a salad and an entree and felt really full. If you like duck you should totally try theirs! It was done to perfection.
The food and service are both excellent. The restaurant was quite busy when we arrived early for our reservation but we were greeted by the very friendly and efficient hostess and were able to find seating near the bar for a pre-dinner glass of wine. We always enjoy eating at Collins Quarter.
Service was very slow!
I went to the Collins Quarter with 3 other friends for a meal ahead of a concert at the Savannah Music Festival. Overall, our dining experience was mixed. The food was average to above average. The service and table were awful. The Sea Bass and Fish & Chips were above average. The Shepherds Pie was disappointing (mostly meat, very few vegetables, not very tasty). The orange upside down cake was excellent. The strawberry cheese cake, not so much. Both the service and our table were poor. Our server started out well but then proved to be slow and inattentive for excessively long periods of time. He also failed to deliver our coffees and went totally MIA toward the end of the meal. In the end, we had to waylay another server just to get the check. I don't understand servers who get worse the closer it is time to decide on a tip. With regard to the seat, we asked for a booth in the reservation but were given a high top table too close to the bar. The result was that a man sitting at the bar kept banging into our table every time he decided to stand up and nearly turned over a glass of wine. We have been to the Collins Quarter for lunch and breakfast before and had better food and service. Not sure if dinner is their thing.
Nice vibe and cool hangout. Food is good and drinks even better. Nice relaxing feel. Food menu is not extensive but solid nevertheless. Service is friendly but was a bit slow when place was full.
Always a great meal at Collin’s
Beautiful surroundings and excellent creative food
We loved it! Fun evening! Great food! Great ambiance and location! And great cocktails!
Food was good.
I ordered a decent wine but it was to young. The sommelier should have known that and not included the wine on the list.
I have eaten at Collins Quarters about 6 times. We w generally like the food. Lat night we went for dinner with my parents, and 2 of us had the duck and 2 the branzino. We all enjoyed our food, as well as the appetizers we shared (shrimp, hummus, cheese plate) and the avocado creme brulee.
Along with this I have to say that, while the waiter was attentive, the service was exceptionally slow. 30 min to bring out the appetizers, 45 minutes later the entrees. We asked for the check with desert, so didnt linger at all and it took 3 hours to dine. The restaurant was about 1/2 full. What's up doc?
This has been our consistent experience at Collins quarters, even when the restaurant is 1/2 full or less. the food is good, the service the slowest I know. Great place to go if you have all the time in the world. My opinion is there must not be nearly enough kitchen staff to handle their tables. We will go back again, but only when we have time to wait 50% longer than we would anywhere else. I wish this could be fixed or I would increase my rating and we would goto Collins Quarters more often.
Have passed this restaurant many times and never gone in...what a mistake!! From the moment we walked in and were warmly greeted by hostess Dayne, promptly seated and greeted by multiple serving staff, we had a wonderful evening. We were looking for a quick dinner pre-theatre. This fit the bill...you could, however, linger for longer easily....and we will next time. Before we left, we made reservations for dinner for two future nights with friends. Food was creative and delicious. Portions were normal size...not gourmand. Funghi tacos (vegan) were fantastic...and my husband loved his chicken dish.
Exceptional restaurant and perfectly located to enjoy the charms of Savannah.
Food, drinks and service were amazing. Felt like we found a hidden gem.
I loved Collins Corner! The drinks were delicious and food was great. The branzino was fabulous. The best meal I have had in a long time. Wish there was more of a dessert selection. Otherwise, terrific experience!
Poor service. They need to hire more wait staff. Food marginal.
Lively restaurant with delicious food, fair sized portions and great atmosphere.
Supposedly a great brunch place, but they are still working out their dinner.
Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable wait staff.
The food is wonderful and the service was great. One of my favorites in town.
Duck was excellent!
This was the best food we have had in Savannah! The peas and goat cheese was amazing as well as the bourbon coffee sour cocktail. The entire staff was courteous and attentive. Would definitely recommend this to everyone!
Love this place! We come every time we are in Savannah and they never disappoint. Great food, great service. See you next time!
Fun cocktail list (lemon and lavender martini was delicious)! Aussie burger was very good, as well as the dill pickle hummus, and the fries. Very pretty location, and really enjoyed our evening!
