About

Welcome to Colletti's, a family tradition since 1946. For 70 years and four generations Colletti's has provided great food and genuine hospitality to this pristine northwest Chicago community. Primarily known for their Award Winning Baby Back Ribs and Famous Thin Crust Pizza, Colletti's menu also showcases hand selected steaks, chops, fresh seafood and of course great southern Italian cuisine with many of the recipes passed down through the ages. A fine selection of wines from around the globe, specialty cocktails, and 12 tap handles featuring Craft,IPA,and Traditional brews grace the beverage menu. With the recent addition of the patio and outdoor bar, (which many claim to be the best in the city), this place has many elements to entertain it's guests. a recent renovation provides an indoor spacious 28 seat contemporary bar with multiple televisions, and feel good sound, a formal dining room with a warm and cozy linear fireplace, and private party rooms to facilitate any event.

Overall positive but our waitress pushed us to order more quickly than we appreciated. The main course came out before we finished our salad/soup course.

We brought friends here for the first time tonight, and they loved it as much as we always do. And the highlight during the summer is moving out to the patio after dinner, after the weather cools down a bit. This has become my favorite neighborhood hangout, both for the excellent food and the after-dinner ambiance.

We came at the time of our reservation and the only outdoor seating they had was a hightop. So we decided to have drinks at an outdoor seating area and told we would get the next available table, but to tell the hostess when one opened up as she might not notice otherwise. So one opened up and another group was seated there. We were told they had a reservation, but so did we! Fortunately, another table opened up in five minutes and we were seated there. For the inconvenience the waitress comped our drinks. The portions were large and the meal was fine. Very traditional food. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and far enough from the street that you do not hear the traffic. Might go back to eat outside again.

Our group of 4 were celebrating a birthday and enjoying a fine dinner. Our entrees included cheese ravioli, lasagna, eggplant parmigiana and veal parmigiana. Each was delicious and our server took very good care of us.

Staff very friendly and attentive. Live in the neighborhood and have patroned the restaurant for over 10 years. Has progressed with time, food good, small portions for price. Will continue to be one of my top go to places.

One of our favorite restaurants in Chicago. Our family, has been coming here for years.
We always have great food at service. The steak sandwiches and Bloody Mary's are the best.

I chose Colletti's for my birthday dinner this year -- It's close to home, one of my favorite restaurants, and since there's a lovely outside patio and it was a perfect evening weather-wise, I figured we could hang out there afterward. I wasn't disappointed!

I ordered the veal scallopine (how have I missed this on previous visits?) and it was excellent. We always enjoy the fresh-baked bread, served with garlic and herb -infused oil. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom, which was delicious. For my side I chose angel hair pasta, with olive oil and no sauce, and I added it to my veal dish since the veal is served only in its broth without any accompanying pasta.

For my drink I chose a dirty vodka martini with bleu cheese olives. It came a little less dirty than usual, which our server noticed as she was delivering it, so she offered to bring some more olive juice from the bar (an ample supply, enough to supplement my second cocktail, too).

There wasn't live entertainment on the patio that night, a weeknight, but there was wonderful piped-in music, so we much enjoyed our extra hour or so when we moved out there after dinner.

An added plus was the ease with which we moved from the dining room to the patio -- When I mentioned to the server that this was our plan, she told me she was serving out there too, so we could just take our drinks and go out there when we were ready, and she'd bring our check to us out there.

All in all, it was a perfect place to celebrate, and a lovely evening.

Met long time friends and had a marvelous time. Good food, drinks, service & free parking. Some ribs, some had pasta, and other meat entrees. Everyone had a great time catching up, eating, and of course, we also enjoyed the drinks. Mrs. Q says: She tried the scallops, "a special for the day", was not impressed. Never had scallops that are heavily breaded- I'll pass.

Next time I will have to go the carnivorous route- fried chicken. They have delicious chicken.

Food was great, it was a set back due to the time it took to be greated by our waitress. It took 15 minutes to be greated, followed by a 30 minute wait for our drinks. It didn't seem too crowded, there were plenty of empty tables. Aside from that, I enjoyed my meal.

The occasion was family Easter dinner. It was very comfortable, and the service was good. I had the Italian pot roast special, and it was tasty. They have a good children's menu, too.

Menu has something great for everyone. This is our third time in 7 months we have been there and we are going back again next week. Have not had even a meal that I would call good there, every meal has been excellent.

We had a delicious lunch at Collettti's. Very fresh salad, warm, fresh bread, Chicken Angeline is delicious as was the trout. Attentive service. Only thing is that they need to update their listing on Open Table because they did not open for lunch until 1 PM so we drove away and did a few errands (our reservation had been for noon) and came back for 1 PM.

We've been coming to Colletti's since I was a child, originally for their pizza, but in more recent years for their dependable menu of pizza and Italian classics. Service is always good, and the recent dining room makeover brought it more current and engaging.

On this visit I had the chicken marsala (delicious, with a side of angel hair) and my husband had one of the daily specials, short ribs. Both were excellent, as was my dirty vodka martini with bleu cheese olives. (Plus it was filled to the rim, which is a must as far as I'm concerned. If you don't want to fill the glass, get smaller glasses!)

Last minute decision to get a good meal away from the conference. The food was great, the service was friendly and the environment was cozy and warm. The only complaint was that the lighting was so dim we had to use our cell phones to see our menus :). We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was fabulous! Best restaurant in Springfield!

I would give an overall outstanding review, but the wait staff awkwardly asked and removed items from my booth a few different times. He continued to visit at odd times, and he seemed to have difficulty removing the items from the table. He did not say anything offensive, but it did stop my conversation with my father the few times he did that.

This is a very nice restaurant on the north edge of Jefferson Park, a neighborhood favorite for over 30 years or more. It's been remodeled in the past couple years and is very comfortable. Our food was fresh and tasty. Oysters on the half shell very meaty and delicious. Highly recommend.

We have been going to Colletti's for many years. We love the food--very neighborhood Italian with a few surprises. The restaurant is moderately priced for all. Great pizza and sandwiches and their selection of pastas, meat, chicken, veal and fish dishes are always good. Their ribs are delicious. We never had a bad meal. The wait staff is great--there to please everyone at the table. The patio which is open late spring thru the summer is great and they offer a variety of musical entertainment. We have invited friends and family to join us and they have all enjoyed the restaurant. This is also a great place to celebrate milestone occasions as they have private rooms.
