Collage Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
My mother and I dined at Collage on a Sunday evening. The place was very busy, but the service was relaxed, attentive and friendly. The food was superb. I had the black grouper with beurre blanc sauce, and my mother had the seafood mixed grill. She also had a salad. For dessert, we had the coffee cake and donuts. Though the little chocolate cake seemed a bit on the dry side, the tiny donuts were perfect, the whipped mousse light, and the chocolate crunch on top of which sat the vanilla ice cream was a perfect touch. We devoured it.
This was my first visit to Collage. It was a first date with a very nice lady who I wanted to impress, and it worked.
You MUST have reservations. This was a very cold night in St. Augustine but the restaurant was packed. I had reservations for 8:30 pm and my plans changed so I wanted to advance our meal time to 7:00 pm but by 6:00 pm, Collage was booked for the night.
The service was very good. The waiter was attentive without hovering and he was very knowledgeable about the menu.
I had the 8 oz. beef tenderloin. It was tasty and prepared medium rare, just as I ordered it. My date had the shrimp and scallops and she loved it. She said the sauce tasted very rich and it was a very filling dish for her.
The prices are not outrageous but this is not a restaurant for everyday dining, but I would not hesitate to come back to the Collage when I want to impress my guest.
Always consistently great service and food. This time I chose the pork tenderloin with the Asian slaw done perfectly. My husband had the shrimp and scallops over linguini he ate every morsel the Caesar salads were excellent as well as the Tuscan bread with the roasted garlic and olive oli. We chose a bottle of prosecco to compliment our meal. Our server Theresa was very pleasant and helpful.. Can't wait to go back again.
We enjoyed meeting Chef Matthew Brown. The entire service crew made us feel special and celebrated. The personal desserts prepped by Chef Brown were 5-Star. This was the perfect restaurant for our 2nd Wedding Anniversary and a most memorable experience. We will recommend and return.
Simply an outstanding meal.
We had waited 6 weeks to get a reservation and the wait was certainly worth it.
Scott our server provided fantastic attentive service. His recommendations were spot on and our evening spent at Collage was very memorable.
Fantastic wine list, great appetizers, delightful beet and apple salad and the Magnifico entree for the both of us made a meal we soon won’t forget.
Can’t wait to return.
This is a great restaurant! It has a great layout and outstanding food. The portions are appropriate and the variety is excellent. Lisa was our main server and was absolutely great. The best restaurant in St. Augustine in my view.
One of the top restaurants in St. Augustine. We loved the "Lobster Gnocchi" appetizer, would like to see an entree-sized version of this on the menu. The main courses (Veal Orleans and New Zealand Lamb Duo) were very good but seemed to lack the punch of the appetizer. Excellent service from Megan. Be aware that they have only a wine/beer licence. The wine list is expansive and has some rarer finds though.
