the best menu, service and value this side of New York...
We had a great experience here for our anniversary dinner. I had the special for the day, which was monkfish poached in butter with a sun dried tomato aioli sauce. It was on a bed of seasonal vegetables that included two additional sauces next to each other (but not touching). The end result was a mouthwatering combination, where I could have any sauce or all three in any combination. My wife had the beef tenderloin crusted in Asiago cheese, and we both agreed that our dishes were delicious. Our appetizer was the barbecue shrimp with cornbread pudding, which was also wonderful. Our server Scott even surprised us with a creme brûlée for our anniversary. The servers were attentive without being intrusive. We will definitely be returning.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Food selection was wonderful. Service professional and very friendly. Great wine selection althoigh would have been good to have more wine options by the glass. Had a great evening at Collage.
We always plan an evening at Collage when we are here. The food is fresh and delicious, service prompt and friendly, waitress knowledgeable and helpful with suggestions.

Great dinner the food was amazing. Would have been perfect but we had a very embarrassing moment with the staff. I ordered a glass of champagne to celebrate my girlfriends birthday in secret. Upon delivery of the glass I was accused of possibly ordering for her because she was underage (which she was not). As if I were trying to pull one over on them. After the accusation we showed ID and were then left alone but we both felt very embarrassed. Just seemed like an unprofessional thing to do, especially when I eat there often. The food however was unprecedented! Every portion better then the last.
One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time!
We would have rated the food at an excellent if it had not been for the ravioli. The ravioli was very doughy and not delicate as it should be. The lobster filling was fine and the lobster tail that topped the dish was cooked perfectly. My wife's gnocchi dish was excellent. Bread serving very nice. Salad also very nice. We shared an excellent Crème Brule. Sorry but the pasta for the ravioli needs a major rework.
Amazing. Great meal.
We were on vacation and this restaurant was a real fine. Everything was outstanding, food , service, wine , the manager came and spoke to us and it was really a treat to eat there - wish it were closer to Southwest Fla.
My new favorite restaurant. We went there for our 40th Anniversary. The food was wonderful; service superb. Reasonably quiet. We could not ask for better.
Beautiful food! The wine list is extensive. The server was wonderful. Ano overall wonderful evening!
Lovely, quaint restaurant w/ delicious food & five-star service.
This is a fabulous place. Wonderful service and food.
We spend three months a year in St. Augustine and dine at Collage almost every week. Megan since becoming the manager has done a great job. The food and service never disappoint, the chef is very creative also. We are looking forward to returning next year to one of the best restaurants on the east coast.
The entire experience of Collage is unique Emily was excellent as our waitress and Nick is the consummate host at both here and Blackfly Resturant.
A great dining establishment. We are from Miami but live here in St Augustine now and the Collage is as good as any resturant in South Florida.
What a special meal. We were greeted warmly like old friends. The menu is very creative and even a bit adventurous. Not something that my husband is known for. When we expressed this to our waitress, Jessica, she immediately offered to substitute items with the tenderloin medallions that was a special for the evening. The house salad was plenty for us to split—the plating was unique. My husband kept raving about the dressing, something he never does. My main course was the lobster ravioli with the accompanying lobster tail. Oh my, it was so wonderful. The tenderloin medallions was soooo flavorful—just excellent beef. And the ravioli was silken with a refreshing pesto sauce that totally disappeared. The warm bread with the basil-laced olive oil was yummy, too. Wine by the glass was a good pour. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert. Jessica was outstanding in every way—a natural in making you feel at home and pampered. The price point for the evening was more than reasonable for the quality of what we enjoyed.
Our table was ready 30 min before our reservation time and they called us to let us know and that we could come anytime.
Perfect! At one point it did get a bit noisy but it didn’t last long. No better restaurant in St. Augustine!
This is absolutely one of the best restaurants we've been to. Wonderful ambiance, wonderful food, terrific service, there's not one thing they could improve. We each had several appetizers instead of a main course so that we could taste several dishes. One thing was better than the other. Highly recommend the barbecued shrimp with corn pudding, the lobster gnocchi, the beef tenderloin bruschetta, and the chicken liver mousse. The creme brulee is also delicious. Love this place and if you're thinking of trying it, make reservations immediately :)
We had the tenderloin with Vadalia onion and gorgonzola sauce and a flounder/chorizo special. Both were very good and beautifully served. Both were delicious and filling.
This was our second meal here and was better than the first....if that is even possible. Worth every penny. Classy and very special place. If you get the chance go for it.
Collage is a charming restaurant in St Augustine. Service was excellent. The Salads were tasty. Unfortunately, out meals were over cooked.
Man... First let me say that Collage had been phenomenal our four previous visits. The food was always remarkable. Which really made this past visit such a letdown.
It started with the lobster/gnocchi appetizer. The flavor was delicious, except multiple bites contained lobster shell pieces. Definitely a deal breaker. Wife ordered medium+ filet w/foie gras topping. Filet came out well done, and the foie gras was the most bitter she had ever had. It tasted worse than strong chicken liver. I had the fresh catch (striped bass w/skin). The first bite yielded a very very strong fishy (fatty) taste. It didn’t really get much better after that.
Again, my wife and I don’t know what happened. It was demoralizing to have this experience at what we considered the culinary gem of St. Augustine. Maybe an off night ? Who knows... And the $140 bill (w/tip) was salt in the wound.
We’ve been patrons for years and we are never disappointed with food and service.
Excellent service and very knowledgeable wait staff. Delicious seafood dinners were had by all of us! We topped it off with wonderful desserts and port.
Lamb was wonderful, Cesear Salad was very bland. Service was wonderful, tabled to close together for privacy.
One of my favorites places in town to eat. We had the Lobster Ravioli, best I've ever had loaded with lobster and served with a lobster tail and 2 jumbo shrimp. The diver scallops in the buttered popcorn puree, well we wanted to lick the plate it was so good. Dessert was homemade doughnuts with ice cream and espresso chocolate goodness. Service is always great! Call ahead for a reservation worth the effort everytime.
good food; excellent service;pricey;ambiance- comfortable; very accommodating;strive to please-would recommend for that special date
Food and service were both outstanding. Highly recommend Collage if you haven't tried it yet.
Outstanding! From the appetizers through dessert a truly great choice. The seafood Mahi special was superb and the beef tenderloin was “melt in your mouth” delcious. You must try the signature dessert, which after the entrees, was shared by two. All in all a treat for the palate!
This place is a little hidden gem.
One of the absolute best restaurants in St. Augustine. We went for our anniversary and loved it. Great food, great service, great wine. Try it!
Not only tasty food but imaginative menu. Great wine selections. Service superb
Fabulous food and impeccable service, make this a family birthday must for us. The quality remains year after year, can't wait to go again!
Always fabulous! Our go-to restaurant with out of town guests and local friends!
The food was excellent, as was the service. We were a group of six, and from appetizers to desert (delicious creme brûlée) we were all happy with our meals. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Being a local this place was one of the best I have found in St Augustine
Service was excellent, food very flavorful, romantic ambience
The Black Grouper was excellent with lots of sided. This restaurant is the place to go if you are in northern Florida. The Carrot Pepper soup is unique.
