   The starter, salad, entry and desert were unique and flavorful. One of the best restaurants we have encountered including NYC, Geneva and London. Spectacular in every way. We loved our server Harmony. Thank you

   Celebrated our anniversary dinner at Collage last night and was very disappointed. We had been looking forward to it for months. The place is very cute. We ordered an appetizer, salad and entree off of the chef's special (CS) menu and another appetizer and entree off of the regular menu. They were out of my husband's first entree choice (at 715 on a Saturday) and didn't mention it until after he had spent a few minutes deciding. It was odd that the waitress didn't mention right away. The wine by the glass list was standard (and a bit uninspired) with many names that I recognized. The bread with roasted garlic was excellent but the pesto oil that came with it pretty flavorless. The share plates they dropped off were dirty with something bright yellow caked on to both. They brought us replacements that were clean quickly. The regular appetizer, escargot, was really undersalted. And I was genuinely confused because I've never had to use the table salt in a nice restaurant before. Also, the phyllo puff it came with was soggy. The CS appetizer, short rib stuffed ravioli, was fine but also underseasoned. When the waitress came to clear the plates of the table beside us, I heard them complaining of bland, underseasoned food. I mentioned to our waitress that we had the same experience and she nodded and said that they were training someone new in the kitchen as an explanation. The CS salad came (something with unripe cantaloupe) and it tasted like water with a scant smattering of bacon bits haha. Everything was cleared quickly and the entrees came out fast. I got the CS shrimp and scallop pasta. The scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. The shrimp and pasta were both overcooked and underseasoned and my pasta had an offputting sweet taste. I think it was the marsala cream sauce - it did not complement the seafood flavors at all. My husband had the veal and he said it tasted like cubed beef with a very soggy breading that was also unappetizing. He did like the artichok

   Very disappointed with the food no flavor at all. We have been going to restaurant for at least 10 years. Never again we need to find a new place. We don’t know if the place was sold or a new chef but definitely not the same.

   Shavano (hope I spelled that right) was a wonderful server! She was there whenever we needed her with great suggestions and conversation. The whole wait staff and the manager worked together with Shavano to attend anything at the table that needed attention. The atmosphere was intimate and quiet enough to converse and be heard, and decor charming. The chef conjured something beautiful for me that was off-menu because I was vegan. My boyfriend enjoyed the menu selections and had a very pleasant meal - he really like the homemade pasta with a delicious sauce and perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp . And, Shavano brought a dessert out for us because it was my boyfriend’s birthday. We were seated at the corner table in the main dining room, which we felt was the best seat. Lovely experience all around - thank you!

   Food was excellent, requested corner table did not get two weeks in advance, service was mediocre, after ordering a bottle of wine, never came back to report, spoke by looking at her pad, rather than looking at us regarding specials and descriptions of different dishes. Filet was priced reasonably. But adding a lobster that was less than 3 ounces for $30 was outrageous.

    This is my second visit to the Collage restaurant. My first visit was outstanding and all categories, however, this time was quite disappointing pointing. My spouse's duck was excellent and of an adequate portion. I had the lamb shank it was very small dried out and basically had no flavor. The garlic served at the beginning of the meal to be served with toast seemed either old or over done/burnt. Our waiter had a sullen personality, offer no suggestions for dinner, didn't ask if we liked our dinner and had no real personality. It was is if we were wasting his time. No one asked if our visit was for a special occasion as it was our 36th anniversary. The hostess was also unhelpful and seem confused. If this was any other ordinary restaurant I would say this review would be to as expected, however, this is normally a very nice restaurant with very very good food. I will not be going back anytime soon. I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend or anyone else, obviously this restaurant is inconsistent.

    Collage is definitely a special occasion restaurant as the entrees are pricey. But we were celebrating our daughters high school graduation so it was fun to have a “fine dining” experience where sorbet is served in between courses. Food was delicious - steaks are cooked perfectly and don’t miss the turtle cheesecake for dessert!

    Great experience and service overall. Black grouper entree and surf and turf seasonal dish were both exceptional. Great bread pre-meal and thought the sorbet between app/entree was a nice touch. Only a few minor complaints. There was no liquor service but in a small place with limited seats it's probably for the best so you can turn tables faster. However, we brought our own wine and there was no offer to decant it on our behalf which for a wine centric menu I was surprised at. We were charged for getting extra bread too although I have to admit the bread was fresh, warm and awesome. It may be one of the first leftover eating experiences where the leftover eating experience I had rivaled the in dining one. The flavor compliments were superb! I will definitely be back and hopefully soon!

    Food and service was excellent. Also appreciate there notice on the door about it not being an appropriate restaurant for kids. You just don’t see enough of that around there. Entree portion for lamb duo was questionable but glad I got appetizer and dessert. We will go back to try other entrees.

    Our entire experience from the moment we walked in was fabulous. Service and food was exceptional. Our waiter was Louis friendly and professional. Beautiful smile. We had the Beef Tartare, black grouper and veal with shrimp. Superb. Can’t wait to return. We live in St Augustine. I feel we are so blessed to live in this beautiful ancient city.

    The ambiance was great, the food was delicious, and the service was phenomenal. The food was pricey, but I think worth it. Harmony, Hannah, and Luis made the experience that much better. We’ll definitely be back!
