My wife and I frequent pelican Hill for dinners and breakfast.
This time I decided to do the breakfast buffet while my wife ordered off the menu.
I was onto my 2nd plate and it took over 25 minutes for my wife’s small omelette to be brought to our table.
It was so so.

My family and I love dining here. The atmosphere is relaxed with a beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. The food and service is consistently great and reasonably priced. It’s a wonderful place for family gatherings.

The view at the Coliseum Pool & Grill is Spectacular. It overlooks the expansive round pool with the sunset in the background. It is breathtaking. We all had a wonderful evening. The service was excellent and the food was good. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely venue with gorgeous ocean view. Food was good. When you have to ask the waitress for water with your meal on a really hot day I found that poor service. All other restaurants bring water to your table without even asking. Small detail but it’s noticed!!

It was a 40th birthday breakfast for which i had asked for a pastry to be delivered to the table.

The scenery was very nice and the food was very good. The service was very slow. Most likely understaffed with nobody to clean off empty buffet plates. Sub par service for a buffet that cost $130 for 2 people (not including tip).

Service was terrible. They recently went through a menu change and price increase. It’s a nice restaurant don’t get me wrong but $32 for a Mediterranean salad with salmon seems a bit much.

I've been to Pelican Grill a few years back. My memory of your restaurant was still good, but I was very disappointed about the food. I had the Pizza which was terrible a real insult. My friend had the Cobb Salad and stopped eating after a few bites. A real waste of money.
I was told that you"ll give the guest of honor a Birthday Cake She turned 70 years old.
All she got was a glass of champagne with a Strawberry & candle no cake. She doesn't drink,nobody asked...
The Service was good, but our waiter way too busy to -pay more attention to us.
You used to have an excellent reputation, but you are not good anymore.
We were All disappointed Sorry to say .
We had such great expectations & we were hoping to make it a SPECIAL 70th Birthday Celebration!
It was a great downer.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and it was the best hospitality experience. Everything was perfect, valet, hostess, and sunset. Our waitress was amazing, so detailed and alert. Loved it, and will be coming again.

Even though we had a reservation they weren’t able to accommodate us to seat outside. They said there would be a one hour wait. The overall service was good except that our waitress brought the check before even asking if we wanted any deserts.

Your lovely restaurant with as fabulous view unfortunately has become a 'bring your noisy children and do not quiet them" place.

The Coliseum Pool and Grill has been my go to if you want to impress friends and colleagues from out of town. I have also recommended it to people visiting. You cant beat the ambience of the resort and valet parking at no charge is a real plus.
They have unfortunately changed the menu and raised the pricing to over double the costs of food and drink previously.
The food and drink selections are just not worth the higher prices, so I will be revising my time spent here. Their pricing is now equal to or more then some of the higher end restaurants that are closer to the coast.

We were all disappointed. The service was so slow that our husbands were unable to order in a timely manner. They had to leave without any breakfast at all to head to their tee time. Those of us who remained suffered inconsistent Bloody Mary’s, some far too spicy to even enjoy them. The waitress informed us that they were all made by the same person. The eggs on the Avocado toast were not very good. The bacon was nicely done. I was also satisfied with my blueberry pancakes, but I thankfully asked for their sauce on the side as it was terrible. Others at the table tasted it and did not like it either. Our impression of the female Asian server was that she does not enjoy her job. She seemed to have a bit of an attitude - not that friendly. Never really saw her smile or show much personality until she brought the check. All in all, one would expect far better service and a higher caliber cuisine and consistency for this hotel.

I have continued to support Pelican Hills Resort, through our various family occasions. I have to say though the last two times that I made reservations for the Coliseum I haven't had the best experience. I called in to ask about the Summer Sensation deal and was given different information regarding the hours and the menu options. Upon arrival, I was made to wait a while before we were seated even though there were multiple table open. We dined with Coliseum twice within the span of a couple of days, and you would think that they would read the notes in my reservation that mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, but they didn't. The last time I had to mention that we had a birthday multiple times for them to acknowledge it. I also ordered three burgers but only had one ketchup bottle at the table, and after speaking to three or four servers they found other bottles for us. I do love the ambiance of the location but with this type of service, It's hard to write a good review.

Not very organized. Their managers had no idea which tables were being utilized and which ones were not. I personally think it is too much for any restaurant to serve both a buffet and have a regular menu option. Their kitchen was disorganized and slow. Understandably slow It wasn't horrible but the golf club restaurant is far better.

The only thing this restaurant has going for it is the outdoor seating near a pool with a view of the ocean, period.
There were 4 of us and we all agreed the food and drinks were expensive and not at all tasty. The service was extremely unprofessional and poor.
