The ahi poke was very tasty and fresh. The margarita pizza was good (though a little small) and cooked perfectly. Our server, Karen was very accommodating and listened to our specific instructions. Love the beautiful setting of this property. We have stayed in the bungalows and dined there on multiple occasions. We brought our friends who were very impressed with the tranquility and beauty of the grounds and structures. We look forward to returning.

Been to the Coliseum more than 30 times. This is the first time the staffs under-performed. Service was very slow and not up to par for some reasons. Maybe overbooked or understaffed. Still gave them 20% even though they probably did not merit it.

I've been to Coliseum many times and have really enjoyed the food, great service and fantastic location. This visit was not good due to the service. The waiter dropped off our food and never returned. Very frustrating as the order was not correct. Eventually another waiter came to our table and took over. We were told our waiter went to another section. ???

No one waited on us after we’d been seated for over 10 minutes. When a family sat down next to us and was immediately waited on, we left. When a manager asked how our experience was, I let him know how unacceptable things were. He said he was sorry but made no effort to improve our impression of the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not return.

Excellent service as usual and good quality food. What I wish would be improved is request for outdoor seating...I specifically requested in the reservation but upon arrival it would have been another 20 minute wait so we chose to be seated in doors.

Sorry, but horrible experience. Stayed in our villa for a month & frankly all your restaurants could use some major work. We have spent probably $600k at Pelican over the last seven years and $65 for that buffet is a joke, no wonder you have no guests choosing it. It took 30 minutes for our food to finally show up, no server once checked on us. My mother had to send her granola back three times, 3 times! There’s definitely the mentality of “if I dont ask how things are or stop by, they won’t notice or get more upset” Wrong, completely wrong attitude. The acting pool manager on Sunday was friendly enough, but wouldn’t you have a manager of the brunch actually there on a Sunday? Sorry but Denny’s serves a better breakfast , not to mention Beachcomber down the hill, which kills it & is delicious.

My wife and I frequent pelican Hill for dinners and breakfast.
This time I decided to do the breakfast buffet while my wife ordered off the menu.
I was onto my 2nd plate and it took over 25 minutes for my wife’s small omelette to be brought to our table.
It was so so.

My family and I love dining here. The atmosphere is relaxed with a beautiful view of the ocean and golf course. The food and service is consistently great and reasonably priced. It’s a wonderful place for family gatherings.

The view at the Coliseum Pool & Grill is Spectacular. It overlooks the expansive round pool with the sunset in the background. It is breathtaking. We all had a wonderful evening. The service was excellent and the food was good. I would highly recommend it.

Lovely venue with gorgeous ocean view. Food was good. When you have to ask the waitress for water with your meal on a really hot day I found that poor service. All other restaurants bring water to your table without even asking. Small detail but it’s noticed!!

The scenery was very nice and the food was very good. The service was very slow. Most likely understaffed with nobody to clean off empty buffet plates. Sub par service for a buffet that cost $130 for 2 people (not including tip).

Service was terrible. They recently went through a menu change and price increase. It’s a nice restaurant don’t get me wrong but $32 for a Mediterranean salad with salmon seems a bit much.

I've been to Pelican Grill a few years back. My memory of your restaurant was still good, but I was very disappointed about the food. I had the Pizza which was terrible a real insult. My friend had the Cobb Salad and stopped eating after a few bites. A real waste of money.
I was told that you"ll give the guest of honor a Birthday Cake She turned 70 years old.
All she got was a glass of champagne with a Strawberry & candle no cake. She doesn't drink,nobody asked...
The Service was good, but our waiter way too busy to -pay more attention to us.
You used to have an excellent reputation, but you are not good anymore.
We were All disappointed Sorry to say .
We had such great expectations & we were hoping to make it a SPECIAL 70th Birthday Celebration!
It was a great downer.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and it was the best hospitality experience. Everything was perfect, valet, hostess, and sunset. Our waitress was amazing, so detailed and alert. Loved it, and will be coming again.

Even though we had a reservation they weren’t able to accommodate us to seat outside. They said there would be a one hour wait. The overall service was good except that our waitress brought the check before even asking if we wanted any deserts.
