Was a great place, with good food. A little pricey, but convenient to Chelsea. Loved the atmosphere. Sad to see it close.
I love this place. I can't believe it is now closed. One of the true gems in NYC. Great food and service, plus a spacious dining room. One of the few places you could go and not be sitting on top of other people. And need I mention those high ceilings and walls of windows.
Nice setting and food was pretty good. Service a bit arrogant but to be expected. Good location. A bit on expensive side for dessert. Super small dessert portions so beware. Quality of food items good.

Pastries were amazing! We left well-fed and very satisfied.
We ordered the burrata with peaches sooooooo good and fresh! Next was the pretzel it was meh cheese was cold pretzel was bland. I ordered the duck pasta very good. My hubby ordered the short rib and polenta it was a show stopper sooooo good! Desserts were great drinks were great
LOVE LOVE LOVED our experience at Colicchio & Sons. My husband and I went for our anniversary and received the royal treatment. So sad they closed. Can't wait to experience their new restaurant!
Disappointing dinner at a usual fave. Salad was spectacular, as always, but lamb entree was undercooked and then cooked more, but tough. Red wines by the glass should have a greater range of offerings.
We were made to feel very special for our anniversary dinner. Food was simple and delicious, not pretentious. The pasta entre and zeppole dessert were especially terrific. The overall experience was outstanding and did not break the bank. Highly recommended.
Food is mediocre. Not as good as advertised. Hamburger over cooked. Brought out wrong meal for one member of our party. Parker house rolls were hard and small.
Love this place. I go every time I am in NY. The service is always prompt and impeccable the food excellent. The dining room is very romantic. This time we ate in the bar because it was three ladies.
Went here on a date. The overall setup is very nice and the restaurant has a very modern look. I was only here for drinks and my date and I split a pizza. The server was very attentive. I would visit again.
Sat in the tap room, enjoyable meal and solid accommodating service
Will definitely go back
Amazing environment and friendly and attentive service. In our party of 7 we ordered a little bit of everything and we're not disappointed in any dish. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in excellent food and dining!
The food was superb, and the service impeccable!
The food was average and the portions were tiny. The wait staff was slow and didn't seem to know what was going on. We all ended up going out for pizza after Colicchio's dinner.
good for meeting friends for low key evening. nice big bright room, nice food and service. relaxing nice place.
Great spot for a quick bite or to lounge. It's a mystery to me why their TC burger is t on every best burger list! Great wine, beer and drinks list.
Great food and service, excellent wine list. Highly recommended.
To the point:
The service was fine but very nosey where they checked in far too often and then weren't there when they were needed...and it was not overly busy at 630pm.
The halibut was far over cooked to the point it was the butter and oils didn't Shoah through anymore and it tasted dry and greasy...a shame for such a nice price of fish
The beef with fingerling potatoes was 70 percent incredible in the the meat was perfect as was the topping and yet the potatoes were unseared and much like the fish, was gummy and greasy.
The wine selection was amazing and you pretty much couldn't go wrong.
I'd say skip this spot due to poor execution
Good restaurant for the family or large groups. Food and service were fine - the pork belly with corn was definitely the winner of the table. Dessert seemed very overpriced (10-15) so we opted out. Took a long time for entrees to arrive after apps, but overall service was very attentive.
Enjoyed the tap room...but the menu is small....and not that exciting..it was convenient...
But not memorable
Excellent as always. The Tap Room is perfect for business dinner because it is quiet enough to conduct a conversation yet still vibrant. Food is excellent as always.
We came to Colicchio & Sons-Tap Room to celebrate my sister-in-law's 60th birthday and were not the least bit disappointed. Sara, our waitress, was absolutely the right amount of attentive and respectful, there when we needed something, but not intruding upon our conversations and celebration. Everything about this restaurant was fantastic, from the decor, to the service, to the food. It was a great evening and I would not hesitate in the least to return or to recommend this restaurant to others.
The brisket dish was amazing!!!
Amazing meal and experience!
This was perfect for a pretheater birthday meal with my husband. The food was fabulous, but not too upscale or heavy for what we wanted. Our server was amazing (Sara, I believe). Highly recommend and would love to go back later at night when it is busier.
The food and the service were perfect! High quality meal in a casual, unpretentious atmosphere!
The staff could not have been nicer, when they called to confirm the reservation they asked if it was a special occasion and I responded yes our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were unfortunately in a hurry to see a show, so we asked that the service be aware of that. At the table there was a card wishing us a happy anniversary and the menu had our names at the top and again happy anniversary, the waitress was lovely and said she would ask the kitchen to be fast, luckily we were eating early and there were not very many other diners yet. The food came out super fast and was delicious. We declined dessert, again due to the time crunch but as we paid the check she brought a plate with a small dessert and happy anniversary written in chocolate! This was the perfect end to a lovely experience. My only complaint, would be the chips served with the signature burger were a little over cooked and not appetizing, I think they should rethink that side. But as the burger was huge and delicious not eating the chips was fine!
Duck Confit and Watercress pizza was delicious. Very good cocktails also and good service
My friends took me here for my birthday and the restaurant made the extra effort from start to finish, including a handwritten birthday card waiting for me at the table when we arrived to an added birthday cake at the end.
They made my birthday very special. They had written me a card, brought out dessert, and had the manager wish me a happy birthday personally. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. I will definitely be returning. Amazing all around experience
We had Sunday brunch at Colicchio & Sons. It was our first visit. The menu was very limited, especially for someone who was gluten free. I probably would not go back.
Great neighborhood spot and delicious food: one of the best burgers I've ever had due to the careful and innovative preparation. Everything was terrific, from the greeting, to the service, to the food. Will return anytime I'm in the city.
Great service. They wrote happy birthday and my son's name on the top of our menus. A slice of birthday cake was also presented to my son with a lit birthday candle in it too. Very thoughtful of them. The food was very tasty too
We were meeting relatives and a friend who needed to be at the train station by 730. We booked a 530 reservation (which is when they start serving dinner), we were at the bar and they graciously seated us at 515 without any input from our group. Our server was terrific, our dinner was awesome. We shared the burrata and peach appetizer as well as the sugar snap pea appetizer. Two of us had the brisket with polenta, which was great. My husband had the pork belly, again delicious. Will definitely be back!
Amazing brunch and very kind service.
Had the burger liked everything about it: the temp, consistency, sides etc but the meat flavor was a little too bland.
I was starving so a burger should have been tasty to me no matter what but it did not have that much flavor.
Will I come again and try other items on the menu? Yes of course.
Will I have TC burger again? Prob not.
The place is beautiful, and beautifully located, right below the High Line, right next to a small park. Our server was wonderful. We had mostly brunch food - I had the prawn, pork belly and polenta, my son the equivalent of french toast, my other son a pizza, I forget what my daughter had, and my wife the pistachio pesto cavatelli. All good, but not exquisite. And the pork belly was very salty.
If you like salt...and if you like beer (too many choices, and I was driving)...then this is a good place.
I work in hospitality and I have never seen such an amazing above and beyond customer service for a birthday celebration. I will definitely be back. What an awesome experience!
