Always excellent! Our food was fantastic, as was the service. Our favorite place to dine in Columbia.
Mussels only average but the Braised Beef and pan salute' Corvina were excellent ....
Great food and ambiance.
Was pretty loud for a business meeting. Food was great.
Service was outstanding. Food was very good but not the best I've had at Cola's. A nice meal overall.
Bday for oldest daughter
The menu is a little pricey, but all of the food is incredible. Wonderful atmosphere and experience.
Excellent food preparation and service.
Not a huge variety of menu items, but unique selection. Very good food and nice presentation. Excellent service. Unique ambiance (one wall has double garage style overhead doors that open onto the street.) lots of brick and metal, therefore noisy.
If your looking for exceptional dining, with a scenic and quant ambiance, Colas is the place to be.
The food was exceptional and the venue is very nice.
Outstanding food, service and all around enjoyment. Our Server was very professional and enjoyment to talk too. Food came fast, hot and excellent taste. Its become our go to place for friends and business associates that come to town.
Always great food. We have enjoyed everything on the menu we’ve tried. Service is top notch. A little noisy, but we were sitting close to the bar. We will definitely be back.
Not a bad experience at all. The service was excellent, our server was super helpful and
We had a great time...food was excellent! Our server was very friendly and provided prompt service. Cola’s is a favorite restaurant of ours in Columbia.
Outstanding! Great food! Great service! We thoroughly enjoyed it! The flounder was outstanding!
Our favorite place got even better. Our waitress and the chef were amazingly able to make a pasta dish with zucchini noodles to allow my wife to avoid gluten allergies. Our guests from Charleston thought it was the best fish they’ve ever had ( I already think that ). They were psyched to learn the restaurant has a sister near them there. From the craft cocktail to the oyster Rockefeller special to the poached pear salad , all dishes and desserts - the food was delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. All this on a very busy weekend in peak dinner rush. Thank you!!
We had a birthday dinner. The cocktails were delicious (I recommend the strawberry basil martini) and so was the wine. We started with oysters’ Rockefeller and fried deviled eggs. Both were spectacular; the oysters were perfect - large, cooked just right, and not smothered in so much stuff that you can’t find the oyster (which is a risk when ordering that). Of the entrees, I would highly recommend the whole crispy flounder or the seared tuna special but you really can’t go wrong. This is where we go for all our special occasions and we’ve never been disappointed.
Service good, some interesting food choices, very conscious of gluten free requirements.
Good little American diner in a cool part of the city
Food was good quality
atmosphere was good but I would ask to sit in the main bar part of the restaurant as better atmosphere..
Re price - it was a bit high for what it was - if it was 10% lower in price then it would probably get 5/5
Defo worth a visit though!
During a visit to Columbia to see the Avett Bro's. my wife asked if we could go here. We were promptly seated within a few mins of our reservation time and we ordered drinks while looking over the menu. I ordered a blackened ribeye that was a nightly special and my wife had shrimp and grits. The steak was good but easily forgettable but the shrimp and grits were fantastic. Next time we are in the area ill likely stop back in and have the shrimp and grits or one of the other seafood dishes for myself.
Too loud. Carpet over the ugly red tile. Easy fix!!!!
Good experience and good food. It was a bit noisy for me, but could have been a function of all the Masters visitors coming back from Augusta and being amped up.
Excellent food and service as always
Reservation was held as assigned on Open Table. We were seated promptly. The restaurant is beautifully appointed. The waiter was extremely attentive and met our dining needs with ease. The timing of each course allowed for a casual dining experience. We however delayed our entree orders after tasting several of the appetizers and soup/salad course. Entrees were very generous sized portions and were easily shared.
The food, atmosphere, and service are always first rate. This is my go-to restaurant for business meals and special, out of town guests!

The food and atmosphere were great for a date night out. We enjoyed our meal and dining experience.
We celebrated our son's 30th birthday at Cola's this past Saturday. Darlene was our server, and she provided an exemplary customer experience for us. We started off with pre-dinner drinks, with my son and husband selecting beer from the extensive beer offerings, my daughter-in-law selecting a favorite white wine and, at Darlene's suggestion, I had a delicious blood orange martini. We followed up with 3 appetizers--deep fried deviled eggs, pulled pork BBQ egg rolls and--my personal favorite--the crispy sesame asparagus. All were fabulous. Two of us then ordered blackened maui maui, which was a special fish selection for the evening. It was wonderful! The other two ordered blacked chicken pasta primavera and the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection. My daughter-in-law had alerted someone on Cola's staff that it was my son's 30th birthday, and they brought him a scrumptious almond basket, which was filled with vanilla bean ice cream and topped with assorted berries.
We have dined at Cola's on several occasions and have never been disappointed. We will definitely be back.
We went on our anniversary and were expecting it to be amazing! Having gone to Colas before, we expected the same experience but this time was much different. We notified them it was our wedding anniversary and they put us at a table facing the wall in the furthest corner of the room. Our waitress couldn't have been less interested in us and our dining experience. The food was ok, its pretty expensive for the experience we received. I expect much more for a nice expensive night out.
Wonderful drinks and food! Every time we go it's great!
Enjoyed the business dinner there. Good food and great time.
Nice service and great food! Lovely date night.
Everything was awesome. Great waitress. Good food. Great drinks. Excellent girls night out.
Food and service were wonderful!!! We were sitted before our reservation and everything was quick and delicious.
We were looking forward to a celebratory dinner. Unfortunately, our server, Cameron, was extremely rude and unkind to our table, including my parents. The food was delicious, and I'm sure with different waitstaff we would've had a great experience, but Cameron's condescending and annoyed attitude were over the top. It's unfortunate that he chose to act like a snob.
I loved every minute of dining at Cola’s. The food was to die for and our waiter was great. Will definitely be back in the future.
Very nice meal with creative dishes and approachable wine list.
Amazing meal and service. Ask for Wally, he was very knowledgeable about t the food and wine list.
I had a reservation which worked out well because as soon as I got there they took us to our table and had glasses of water awaiting us. Or waitress Morgan was very nice and sweet, but she was very forgetful. My cup of water went empty 3 times and I had to point out my glass is empty. Rule #1 in waiting tables is never allow your guest to go without something to drink. The appetizer was good, we ordered a seafood dip. For my entree I had the shrimp and grits and it was the worst grits I have ever had. It was very pasty and the shrimp was very small. I didn't eat it and the manager came over and offered to bring me something else. Although the manager was sweet and genuine she reeked of cigarettes. As if she smoked a whole pack before coming to my table which made me not want to try anything else. Overall, I will not be visiting again. The pricing was too high for mediocre to nasty food.
Food was fabulous, service as well. Only downside was being seated at a huge booth -- we were a party of two -- out in Siberia. The place was hopping, but there were open tables in the main room. Host indicated they were reserved but led me to believe he would see if something could be done. Never heard from him again -- guess he was too busy reading his book.
