Cola's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
This was the first time that my moms and I had gone to Cola's. The food is delicious and fresh. Our waitress was so sweet and helped to make my birthday celebration even better. She understood our dietary needs and made sure to tell the kitchen. At Cola's the atmosphere is beautiful and not very loud. They also have very good cocktails. You will not regret a meal at Cola's
Great, now I can never eat any other food ever because I had no idea food could even taste that good. I’m going back to college just so I can get a job where I can afford this restaurant on a regular basis. If I knew about this 4 years ago, I would’ve gone into debt for this steak instead of that Walmart credit card I’ll never pay off. Holy macaroni.
Outstanding meal. This was our first visit to Cola's and we could not have been more pleased. The service was great and the food was spectacular. There are so many delicious options on the menu. The flounder was amazing. The pork chop was amazing. Loved our experience!
It was my wife’s birthday, and our first time there, but my daughter’s third time, who was surprised by her boyfriend proposing marriage to her in the restaurant, that evening. She said yes while he was on his knee.
Loved the food, had the braised beef dish and the scallops entree. Both exceeded expectations. Loved the filet cooked to a perfect medium temperature, shrimp and grits and the vegetable sides, as well as the fried oyster Caesar salad in a fried parmesan cheese shell.
Also, enjoyed the apps, the shrimp dumplings in a nice soy sauce, and the cheese board, which needed more toasted slices of bread to use up the ample cheddar cheese spread... which they quickly brought to us upon our request.
Our party of 6 had different needs, but the staff were very attentive to all of them, including graciously cutting and serving the birthday cake we had brought into the restaurant for our celebration.
It’s a little pricey, but you’re not eating at Outback or Olive Garden.
The overall vibe of the place is energized and fun and we will be back.
It even has a few TVs at the bar to watch the sports events dujour. Bon appetite!
Food was great. This was my first visit and this was the best meal i have gotten in Columbia. I order the 16oz New York strip medium well and it was cook perfect. I will defiantly be going back. The only place i know that serves coffee Ice cream. Everything was perfect.
Our 2nd New Years Eve meal here. Loved it last year but a little disappointed this year. I had the filet (ordered med-rare) it was a little over cooked but not terribly, however it was just warm not hot and, i would guess, sat for several minutes waiting to be served. My wife had the braised beef (again) see loved it last year and enjoyed it again but realized it was chuck steak for $34. A little pricy for that cut. We may dine there again but will also look at other restaurants.
Made reservations and got there a little early and was seated right away on a busy night. The food was very good and service good as well. It was a bit noisy and hard to hear people sitting across the table but on a busy night around the holidays I expected this so really not an issue.
Beautiful restuarant in the Vista. The food was spectacular. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We started with the pimento cheese board. They had a large wine menu and the waiter was very knowledgeable and able to help us choose a great wine. For dinner the shrimp and grits was perfect! The only complaint I have was our table was very close to others. I would ask for a booth next time. I will definitely be back.
Didn't know you had to reserve a specific table. Asking to be moved from the table in front of the bathrooms caught the staff off guard and took several minutes to move our water glasses to a new table before we could be seated. Once seated, the serve staff was extremely professional and well trained.
I booked table 2 weeks ahead & got a table that was almost in the bar- annoyoying NOISE& & people traffic. If I wanted to eat at the bar wouldn't have made reservations.!Great food, awful ambience& they need some barrier between entrance & tables, freezing.
Love Cola’s. Our family dined there Christmas Eve. Waitress was exceptional. Food was great as always. Only disappointment was being packed in side room next to rather loud individual who read (actually!) the menu out loud. He was entertaining at least. Open spaces on main floor would have been nicer. Wish we were given a choice of tables. Can’t thank the team from Cola’s for providing a great holiday dining experience!
My wife and I really enjoyed our meal. I had a tomato and crab bisque soup that tasted wonderful. Followed by an almond crusted tilapia. A solid dish just needed a little extra seasoning on the sauce. We had the almond basket for dessert and loved it. A unique dessert for sure, but a nice balance of sweet and tart from tasty ice cream and fresh blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries resting on top of almond fried flowering basket. We moved here a few months ago and this is the best eatery we have found thus far.
Although we were dining with people in town for business, this particular dinner was casual just since it was around the holidays, and we just wanted to enjoy a meal together.
We’ve been here a time or two before on business dinners and, everyone enjoys the Cola’s very much. The menu, the atmosphere, and the decor of the restaurant is fantastic, always comfortable and the staff always make you feel so relaxed and welcome.
I certainly would recommend Cola’s to others.
