Cola's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Exceptional service! The food was very good, but one dish caught the entire table off guard and two folks at the table ordered it, the Black Bass. The presentation stunned everyone and then the laughing started. I had to ding the waiter on this and hate to because he really was good. However, it would have been nice if the menu or the waiter would have made us aware that it was being served as a whole fish. I had to take a photo which I've attached. Even with the slightly off-putting event of having to pick thru bones, it was tasty. I will go back, but next time know to question my selection a little more before actually ordering.
My daughter, sister and niece enjoyed a great evening at Cola’s. The drinks, appetizers and dinner were delicious! We sat on a different side than I usually sit at the restaurant- it was just perfect for us to be able to talk and hear each other. However, I do enjoy the bar side. A little more lively atmosphere! Thanks Cola’s for making our evening so enjoyable!
The Oysters Rockefeller were outstanding! I had the Chicken Parmesan without breading. It was very good. I loved the marinara. My date's steak was a little under cooked but not enough to complain about. Dessert was great - chocolate! We will definitely come back to Cola.
Enjoyable business dinner. Booth was spacious and noise level surprising low considering the number of other diners.
Menu had some interesting options, and the specials had good, local components.
Moderately sized and priced wine list, lots of beers by the bottle.
Attentive and knowledgeable service. Our server knew the menu quite well and made good recommendations from both the standard menu and nightly specials.
Definitely still on the list - probably moving ahead of Oak Table.
Cola's once again produced an outstanding traditional turkey dinner Thanksgiving Day for those of us wanting to celebrate, but not in the kitchen. Service and food were impeccable, as always. Our appreciation for this service to the community on the part of restaurant management and staff.
Nice atmosphere, great service. I asked for gluten free recommendations, waiter probably not very well informed, as I got glutened anyway. I knew that was a chance I was taking, though. I bring this up because the reason we chose this restaurant in the first place was they offered a gluten free menu. Other than that, the waiter was great! I do feel that the food is very overpriced. I have had better food for much lower prices.
About fourth time I have been and was disappointed with service this time. We had a 6:45 reservation for three. Arrived about 10 minutes early to an almost empty restaurant -- told to wait at bar and someone would get us. I then had to return to front door and ask to be seated close to 6:50. The food was pretty good, but the pimiento cheese plate comes with a generous helping of pimiento cheese (which is appreciated) and only four slices of baguette. We asked for more bread and were met with response that would be a dollar charge. Really?!? Your ambience does not match this kind of response, IMO. Just not the unique dining experience I was expecting this time around. Busy business travelers....
As usual, Cola’s was an amazing dining experience. The only downside this visit, was a waiter who continually forgot everything we requested, like bread, a straw, coffee and no soft drink refills throughout our meal. That is not what we normally experience . We hope our gratuity sends him a message and he will not disappoint other patrons of this great establishment.
First time visit to Cola's. I got reservations on-line. They had a table for two set when we arrived and we were seated immediately. I had the pimento burger, which was awesome! It was prepared just the way I ordered it, medium-well. My wife enjoyed her seared half chicken with spice rub. The mac-n-cheese was very tasty. Only complaint would be the noise. Very open restaurant that carried noise. They had cushions on the ceiling to help with it, but I think they need a LOT more. Will definitely be back!
I have thoroughly enjoyed each of my visits to Cola's. The food is outstanding, the service top notch and the atmosphere very spirited. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our waiter Wednesday night, Tory, was on her game and gave excellent service. A great spot for gathering with friends after work or for special occasions.
We drove 2 hours to meet a friend that we had not seen in many years and picked Cola’s as it was a half way point for both of us! Wow!!! It was amazing! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun and casual, and the service was great! We arrive a bit late due to the drive and Dusty was so kind about it and held our table for us when we called to let her know.
Thank you Cola’s for such a great time! We would love to come back!!!
