Coconut Cove at The Ritz-Carlton, St. Thomas
Flour tortilla, pickled slaw, cilantro sour cream, queso fresco. Choice of:
Grilled Steak Wrap
Caramelized onions and peppers, arugula, Pepper jack cheese, horseradish cream
Steamed vegetables, Creole rice, mojito cream
Loved it! Live Steel Pan was playing was which was wonderful, but a little loud to be able to have a conversation with our guests!
Typical hotel/beach restaurant. Food good but somewhat overpriced as you would expect from the Ritz Carl to on.
Excellent lunch, and not as pricey as I thought. Had mahi tuna over a huge salad for $25 which was a good deal. Beautiful setting and ambiance polite waiters
We have stayed at many Ritz-Carltons over the years and are Platinum Marriott members. This Ritz is not up to par with others. We have a 2nd home on St. Thomas and were there for the holidays. I made reservations on the St. Thomas/Ritz-Carlton website for lunch on Christmas day. When we arrived, we were treated like we were UNWANTED because we were not staying at the resort. Our waitress was nice, but made the comment "our reservation really shouldn't be allowed be we were not staying at the resort" because the resort was full. The food and drinks were just okay, but not up par with other Ritz-Carltons. I would not recommend this restaurant or resort.
This was such a great experience. Great food and unparalleled service from Nicole. The Manager even stopped by and she was delightful!
Just took a cab to the Ritz and this beachside cafe was simple but quite good. No fancy gourmet but quality food.
Cajun chicken pasta - excellent
Fish tacos - excellent
Burger - very good
Amazing view and good food!
Spent New Years Eve @ Coconut Cove with the whole Family. Fantastic Food and family Fun Evening
Service was excellent Charlesworth and staff did a Fantastic job the whole night. JTH
Good food and casual island atmosphere.
Was a very nice buffet. Food was delicious 😋 loved the steel drum music
Mosquitos very aggressive. Servers appeared overworked, difficulty taking care of customers. Disorganized and very loud.
The best calamari I have ever had. The fish tacos were outstanding as was the coconut Bellini. Great place to get a quick lunch. Right on the beach so ocean views aplenty! You think Ritz and dressy, not at all. Everything from shorts to swim attire. Sundresses are perfect. Give it a try for a great lunch with a perfect view!
Great food and not too expensive for being a ritz hotel restaurant.
Perfect location, right on the beach.
Smoothies are awesome
Excellent meal, excellent service with Judith! Thank you so much for making our meal fantastic!
Tonight was Caribbean buffet and it was good, proteins included skirt steak, Mahi mahi, chicken, seafood coppino. Lots of sides and the sweet plantains were great. Also salad and small deserts.
Great way to enjoy the gorgeous views of St. Thomas and the ocean breezes.
Jasmin and JUDITH were awesome. Friendly, helpful and always there when we needed something.
Positives: Beautiful resort property (Ritz), waterfront, shuttle service on property to get to restaurant, good service.
Negatives: Quite a long shuttle ride as the property is HUGE, Food quality was not as great as we were expecting, very high priced for what you get, STRAY CATS walking around while eating YUCK.
The setting doesn't get any nicer than this. The restaurant is on the grounds of the Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas. It's next to the pool and practically on the beach. The staff is also extremely nice and accommodating. Unfortunately we didn't love the food. The nachos were good, but none of us enjoyed our main course very much. For a hotel that has a lot of kids, the menu wasn't teen friendly. Our girls had a hard time finding something they liked to eat.
If you go here for dinner just order the bar food. There is not a regular dinner menu as advertised on the Ritz website. We were given a choice between bar menu of burgers and pizza or Caribbean buffet. We initially said no to the buffet but were pressured into it. The food was disgusting and the bill came back 60 per person for this tiny buffet of gross food. Not pleased.
Beautiful setting at the Ritz overlooking the water. Great variety of food reasonably priced (for the Ritz!). We visited a few times during our week-long stay in St Thomas. We came back for the delicious Caesar salad topped with a good sized piece of lobster for only $19 extra. Seafood pasta as well as the fresh catch of the day - which is often mahi mahi - were delicious.
It's the Ritz, enough said.
The service was slow. Selling a burger for $20 is absolutely fine, but at the very least do not serve it stone cold.
The food was excellent!
We ate here for Christmas evening, while staying in St. Thomas over the holiday. Figured... It's The Ritz, it's gotta be outstanding, right?? (We were not staying at this hotel)
The food was just... Meh. Nothing really to say about it. HOWEVER, I could not believe the way the parents let their children behave here! Running all around, being loud, shouting "NO" at their parents AND staff. Now, maybe this is how the rich raise their kids, but it completely ruined any chance of a romantic holiday dinner. I also could not believe that no staff members ever told any of these parents to make their kids behave!
VERY disappointing, Ritz Carlton! Would never recommended this place to anyone!
Open air dining with some tables outdoor and uncovered. They have bug spray that you will need. It rained while we were eating and they helped us move out meals to an inside table. Eat at the Bleuwater.
I took my mother and grandmother to this restaurant for a casual mother's day dinner. To avoid hitting the hilly roads of St. Thomas late at night (and to make my grandmother happy) we made an early dinner reservation for 5 PM. I called prior to ask if there was a special menu for mother's day, etc and was told that it was the regular full menu. Once there we were treated wonderfully and all the staff was lovely to us including driving us from the entrance to the restaurant so that my grandmother didn't have to walk. The waitstaff was also lovely but once there we were told that the full dinner menu doesn't start until 6:30 pm and only a light fare menu was available. I wish I would have known and could have changed my plans.
Excellent service, food, drink and views!
Had Christmas dinner here. The food and scenery was perfect. I felt sorry for the staff having to endure certain less than gracious guests on such a great holiday evening. Prices were reasonable for a nice meal on the island. Both fish dishes were well prepared. Slightly small servings.
The best services in St. Thomas. We had a great server/manager of the restaurant that went out of her way and talk to every guest. If you want the best services/food this is the place to eat and celebrate.
This was are favorite spot at the Ritz, the staff, and the food was always amazing and we ended up going a few times. What an incredible view as you eat dinner. Outstanding.
We did not end up eating here because they wanted $25.00 for a cheeseburger!
Do not go for the Caribbean Buffet. Terrible selection, poorly prepared, and not kept filled. Dry fish, overcooked meats.
good food. amazing view.
The service, ambiance, and overall quality was excellent. The Ritz-Carlton and Coconut Grove are well worth a visit.
