Food and drinks were all served on time. One hiccup, our sons burger came fully loaded when we ordered it PLAIN so he didn't get to eat with us. We had to wait for him to finish since our food was already done by the time they remade his burger. But he did like it. the green avocado salsa is amazing!

Hard to find in the dark if you've never been there before and Apple maps didn't have the right location so was bit of pain to get there. But the place is nice and the service and drinks were great .

We've eaten here multiple times, but this time I was a little disappointed with my meal. My companions seemed to enjoy theirs. Our server was very good, although he brought one dish that we didn't order - but it came back to the table later. I'll explain: I ordered the Tierra y Mar, basically steak and shrimp. I specified medium on the steak. It came rather raw inside. So I sent it back. While waiting, the dish we didn't order was offered and we accepted the three mini-burgers aka "sliders." My undercooked dish arrived back but it was STILL undercooked! I'd say very rare rather than raw. Nevermind, I'll eat it anyway.

Drinks ordered by my companions were good(I was the designated driver); some ordered salad plus two appetizers but my lady ordered the salmon which she pronounced as very good. And there were no complaints about the appetizers. Sooooo maybe don't get the steak? Unless you like it super rare?

Took my beautiful 7 year old her on a date after the local daddy daughter dance. Place is nice food is unique. Most items are spicy and you cannot change the spicy. Waiter said the sauces come pre-made.

Not a real good experience Saturday night. Extremely loud with band playing and a group of 25 being loud. Could hardly here our waitress. Not a relaxing meal at all. Food was good and service good up to the point where our waitress (Tammi) forgot our crab cakes. She told us they gave them to somebody else. Really! Then after waiting 20 more minutes they still did not come. We asked for the bill and told them forget the cakes. Yep sure enough she charged us for them. Not a good experience

Service was good, the cocktails were great, the food was also quite good.
I'd recommend the lamb lolly pops, empanadas and the curry paella.

I celebrated my birthday last year, and wanted to take my sister there for Valentine's Day. At the time of the reservation I was unaware that Coco Cabana would have a prix fix menu. Although it wasn't planned to spend that much, I do not regret it. The food was amazing, the service was exceptional and I will be back soon.

Co Co Cabana's Valentine Special was delicious! The food was amazing and did not disappoint! We got the rack of lamb and the chicken dishes. So good!
Server was sweet and attentive. We love this place!

The food was good, we ordered Tapas. The service was very good, the waiter was attentive. The bar was too close to the dinning area. The loud drunk woman ruined our romantic dinner. The chairs were very uncomfortable; hard and short for the legs.

My boyfriend and I had a really good experience at CoCo Cabana. We opted for the tapas and they were amazing! Our favorites were lamb lollipops (3 pieces), mazatlan corn (3 pieces) and the crab cakes (unfortunately, you only get two small pieces). Definitely would come back here again and try their entree or brunch!

Food temperature was cold. Asked to bring back another and still came back warm. Dishes tasted gone but seemed as if foot has been pre prepared and reheated. Service was also not good. Has to ask to take meal off bull instead of it being offered to be taken off. Waitress had very little interaction, and did not check back on us. We had a big party and therefore gratuity was included which was not deserved.

Most of the restaurant was rented out for a party. There was tons of balloons and a bad DJ that was loud. It was like eating at a wedding you weren't invited to. Don't take other guests if you rent out the place! Food was tasty but ordinary. No cuban decor, seems more like a bat then a dinning experience. I never got a chance for a second drink.

Winner of the "Not my Job Award 2017"
This rating is mainly for service or more accurately the lack of - can't rate on food because we never made it past the reception.

My party had an opentable reservation at 6.30 pm for dinner on a weeknight. Arrived about 10 mins late due to the heavy storm. Tried to check in but was told that they were closing at 7 pm due to an "employee party" and would not seat us. I asked why they allowed us to make a reservation when they knew they would be closing early. Answer : "you used a third party system so it was out of our control". Fact: Open table does enable restaurants to black out times so reservations can't be made.
My next question: "couldn't you have tried to contact us to let us know". Answer : "That is not our job".

A while back, I had a reservation at a small restaurant in Davis. Two hours before the time, I get a call from them saying they had a pipe burst and the dining area was flooded. Now that is the kind of situation that is really out of their control. Then they asked me if they could set us up in the patio or we could cancel. Now this is quality customer service before we even arrived at the restaurant.

At the end of the day, I had so many good experiences at many great establishments, I had to eventually run into a bad one. I am still out ahead.

The waiters were friendly and attentive. The curry mussels sauce was too thick and would have been better thiner. The seafood dish was bland and not recommended. We did enjoy the taco salad and dessert of beignets were light and delicious.

Consistently good food...this is my (I've lost count) time I've eaten at Coco and I enjoy the food, drinks and atmosphere on each visit. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu as it's all good.

We tried CocoCabana based on a friend's recommendation. My friend had a salad and I ordered two tapas. Everything was fresh, tasty, well prepared and nicely presented. Each of us had one drink and a cup of coffee. The bill came to $70, which I thought was spendy, considering how little food we ordered. Next time, I'll get there a little earlier to take advantage of Happy Hour prices. (Beware: Their online menu mistakenly says Happy Hour ends at 7 pm, but it really ends at 6 pm.) When we first arrived, the waiter was attentive, but his attention quickly waned--although the tables were 50% empty--and in the end we had to flag down the busboy to order coffee. No water refills, either.

We have been many times and the food is always good. We like to do small plates. The noise level is usually higher but last Saturday we had trouble hearing each other when the music started we gave up talking finished fast and went somewhere where we could have conversation.

We went on a night that featured live music. We dine here all the time but the music wasn't why we went. The music while it wasn't horrible it made the dining experience less than desirable. We could not hear each other and basically had to yell. 4 people at a table and it was not

This is the first time my husband and I have been to this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. The drinks we ordered were really good and the Tapas were very tasty and not overly priced. Will definitely be coming back.
