Donna was our waitstaff at 6:30 to closing. She was fast, made recommendations, added to our enjoyment. I hadn't been there for dinner for a while and I will be recommending it. I was hoping Peddler's Village would have their lights up and on but was told no until mid-November. So it was dark in the Village with little lighting. Might be more enticing to shops and restaurants if that were remedied. But our meal and Apple Sangria were great!

Dined here with my boyfriend on a Saturday night during the Apple Festival at Peddler’s Village. We thought we’d sit and have a nice meal before heading home back to NJ. I had not been here for about 20 years. My last recollection here was it was a good place to eat. Our experience this time was not the same. Our glassware was filthy. We asked if they could bring new glasses. They were also dirty. The wine was also in dirty stemware. When I say dirty I mean you could not see through the glass with old lipstick print on the rim. We asked for a new glass of wine, next glass was just as dirty but wet as if it was rinsed (not dried). Stemware also.

Our food was not acceptable as well. We ordered truffle fries and believe the truffle oil was forgotten. What we were served were French fries with Parmesan cheese for $10. Our meals were over cooked.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience and paid over $100 between wine and meal. Waitress was very, very nice. Service was very pleasant but hygiene and food was not acceptable.

Four of five meals were cold, 1 was warm. Waitress never ask how dinners were, had to get buss person to return two cold prime rib dinners to kitchen. After approximately 15 minute the waitress dropped two new prime rib dinners on the table and left. They were also COLD. After another 10 minute or more I got her attention and ask her to remove them from the bill. She picked up the two dinners and left saying nothing. After 20 minute and no response I ask to see the manager. While I was off speaking with manager the waitress left the check at the table with the 2 dinners removed. She never asked if we would like coffee or anything else, just dropped the check and left. The manger apologized and said there were problems in the kitchen. The problem was a rude waitress!

The food was just okay. I expected better. Food took a while to come out. Server was attentive and very good. Stopped by several time to let us know he was checking on the food. Friends had Prime Rib that was very very fatty. We had chicken. It was just okay.

One waiteress running her head off. Trying really hard.
But at the end of the night, food was not good, service was extremely slow and many little items were lost.
Expected a lot more.

Chicken pot pie and prime rib were our choices and we were not disappointed. Ambiance is fabulous. General manager Cindy was absolutely incredible. She went out of her way to welcome us, get us bread and salad, checked on us, and talked to us several times during our dinner. We will definitely be back

We went on a Sunday for lunch and were unaware that the only option was brunch prior to arriving. We were also unaware that the restaurant was closing at 2 for an event at 3. Our reservations were for 1245p and we felt rushed to eat. The food and service was mediocre for the price. We were sat in a corner by the windows. Our seating was crowded and it was difficult to get up and get food if you were sitting in the corner. It was also unbearably hot with the sun coming in through the windows.

Went to Sunday brunch. We have gone dozens of times. The las few times it appeared to be slipping in quality, service and all around. On this trip the food was either cold, or they ran out of things and took forever to replenish, clean plates for the buffet we’re missing and it felt like they came out 1 at a time. Same with Clean glasses for juice. The service was poor to say the least. Had to hunt the waiter down every time we wanted a water or coffee.

Terrible, waited despite reservation. When seated, half the restaurant was empty with dirty tables and 75% remained uncleared during our dinner. Clams casino came mushy, not hot. Red wine came white. Waited 20 minutes between seating, first drink, then again after app served for salad, then again for main plate. Waitress needs training. Some other servers, hostess were hustling. Our server didn't do much to ready herself for the day and offered kitchen/bartender excuses with all of her service at our table and the others in her territory. The place needs good management turnaround and spiffy up the decor.

The murder mystery actors / actresses were excellent . The food was delicious but the salad was awful. The waitress to my table was miserable . She skipped my daughter and I at desert . I reminded her .The tables are too crowded . Noise level of the table behind us was awful . They were clearly drunk and loud . The staff should have told them to respect the actors/ actresses for the show .
As a side note the actor who played Uncle Artie was absolutely funny , well prepared and worth the time .

Overall we were not impressed. Great drinks, decent food and lackluster staff. The hostess noted our reservation which included only one request ( a 'nice' table) for our wedding anniversary. She then proceeded to seat us without any attention as to where, and the place was 80 % empty. We won't be back. We can find a better place for celebrating.

Very disappointed! We both sent back the prime rib dinner and left w/out eating. The prime rib was undercooked with tons of fat. The presentation (or lack of) prime rib covering the mashed potatoes and vegetable made me sick to my stomach. The restaurant was so loud we had to yell at each other. The waitress forgot our soup, dropped out bread that she carried under her arm and tried to convince us that the meat was cooked.
This is a tourist trap and is over rated!!!

While the waiter was terrific and the food was very good, the service in terms of having to wait and wait for our food was terrible. We waited an hour for our dinner. It was very clear that there was not enough wait staff for the amount of people in the restaurant. About 5 or 6 tables, that we could see, were not bussed for 1/2 an hour or more. Hostesses and manager (?) were running around trying to get things cleared off. Bus girl came around but worked very slowly to clear tables. One of the hostesses was taking pictures of un-bussed tables with her iPad. Why? Although I cannot prove it, I suspect that the wine I had was watered down. Full glass but tasted weak and strange. Saw what I suspect were water bubbles in my glass. My husband's Arnold Palmer was very weak. He also suspected that it was watered down. The waiter we had was fabulous, but he was running around trying to serve too many tables and could not get around to all of them in a reasonable amount of time. He was great though and this was not his fault. When we got our food, it was hot and good. So, that part was fine. I could not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The OWNER needs to hire more wait staff and/or reduce the amount of people they are serving. We were packed in like sardines. This is the first time we'd been back to this restaurant in about 10 years. It use to be great but no more! Very sad for us and anyone who enjoyed this restaurant before. What is happening here is the responsibility of the OWNER and not the manager or wait staff. Up to that person to change what is going on and improve this restaurant.

My future son in laws parents were in from Ohio as we planned on having the rehearsal dinner there so they could see it and try the food!
We have been coming there for a very long time and and never have been so disappointed.
It was quite obvious the the waitress was very stressed! Not that it was her fault that it was very understaffed! Waited almost a half hour for drinks and food took way to long and arrived cold!
Needless to say we won’t be having the rehearsal dinner there.
Sorry to say won’t be back any time soon!

Had the Chicken Pot Pie & NY Strip, both were of average size, seasoned well & tasty but could have been a bit bigger. Salad or soup was extra, one or the other should have been included at this price point, bread basket was stale sliced bread and no longer offers fresh baked rolls. Except for special occasions & scenic shop views, we'll trying new places sorry to say.

The food was good, although not great, but the real problem lies with the management. We had a 6pm reservation and were not seated until a little after 6:30pm. It's always annoying to have to wait that long after your reservation, but the most maddening part was the fact that the hostess told every party checking-in it would be "about 5 minutes." Clearly not the case when the entrance is bursting at the seams with people who are becoming angrier by the minute. After making it into the dining room there were many empty tables, a good portion of which had not been cleared nor reset. The waiter was doing the best he could but was so overwhelmed that it felt like we were under interrogation each time he asked a question/offered to bring something. To top it all off, the ladies room was out or order leaving every woman in the restaurant to fight for the one handicapped restroom (that's not to mention all the elderly people who were also trying to use that single facility). This was not a huge issue for me personally as my mother and I were able to walk outside to the public restroom, but there were many elderly people who seemed like they would have struggled with this. I understand things break at the most inconvenient times but it didn't seem like the staff a) knew the ladies room was closed or b) had any sense of urgency when it came to calling maintenance and getting it back up on a busy Saturday night. My family has been coming to Peddlers Village for 40+ years and always had positive experiences at this restaurant prior to this time. I'm not sure what was going on behind the scenes but management needs to iron it out or I would not be surprised if this "institution" goes under.

The server forgot the appetizer that we ordered then recommended the same appetizer. When the calamari came out it was over cooked and burned. Let it slide. The entrees came out. The wife asked for medium steak with fresh asparagus yet it came out as well well done with string beans. Sent it back. Took another 1/2 hour. Customers were complaining at every table. Not sure if this is the norm but won’t be going back anytime soon. Barely even an apology. Major kicker was when they told OpenTable we never honored our reservation.

The food was good the pork chop dinner was a very tastey with potatoes and apples make sure you ask for it cooked all the way through its a thick chop. The shrimp scampi came on linguini with tomatoes and aspargus mix in, it was a generous portion. We had the complimentary salad bar with our meal so that left no room for desert. If we were in the area again we would consider dining here maybe when they have one of the special functions and bring some friends.
