Wonderful service- host & server extremely friendly and helpful. While there was not a Sunday brunch menu; the food was excellent. Each entre had plenty to share. The buffalo prepared cauliflower was scrumptious. Will definitely consider dining there again!

We were seated right away , The server was very educated on thr menu and very thorough. The apps and entrees were top notch. One of thr best Beef Stroganoff dishes I've ever experienced. Highly recommended The Cock and Bull for anyone who is looking for a nice quiet dinner with very warm atmosphere and excellent food.

Great hopes dashed. The experience was decent at best. The food was nothing spectacular, the menu did not accurately describe what was brought to the table (even the waitress said so), and the noise was unbearable. We will not return.

I came with my family for Mother’s Day. The staff was very friendly and attentive! However, the food was bland, but passable. The fruit salad sat for too long in its juices and hadn’t been replenished. The prime rib was too rare. The broccoli seamed burnt. The roasted carrots were dry. The butter was so cold it was unspreadable on the bread. The food was not as savory as it has been in the past. I expected more.

Went for Mother’s Day. For $50 per person, the food was brutal. It was a brunch buffet with dried out selections. Waiter was okay but looked like he truly did not enjoy his time there. Won’t be back.

We visited the restaurant prior to the Sherlock Holmes mystery show. This was our second time visiting and I definitely preferred this visit better. The server was helpful and knowledgeable, the food was delicious and the cocktails were tasty. We would definitely visit again.

We have been patrons of the Cock and Bull for many years. I feel I need to take this opportunity to critique this last visit. We were greeted by the hostess with “reservations?”. No “hello” or “good evening”. We were seated and immediately our waitress Britney came over to introduce herself and offer beverages. She was a wonderful waitress and went out of her way to accommodate us. The menu has remained limited since the beginning of covid. It offered only one soup- French Onion. No salad bar but it had been that way for years. No offering of bread (especially corn bread) as well. The chicken pot pie was good but now missing the apple slaw that was to accompanied it. It the combination of these changes/ omissions that have brought my review to three stars instead of five.

We had a table for 8 at 5pm at the Easter Buffet. Service was excellent, and there wasn’t any lines at the buffet but the food selection was very disappointing. Was not like last year. $20.00 for children to eat hot dogs and grilled cheese was a disgrace. At least last year they had chicken fingers with waffles. The selection of vegetables this year was horrible also. We go to the buffet every year for Easter and Mother’s Day and this has been the worst. Buffet trays were not marked with its contents, rather they had one big sign at the end of the table listing all the food on the table. Not organized very well.

This was their EASTER BUFFET. Sorry to say, after 50 yrs of coming here, I am writing a negative review. Although we had an excellent waitress, the servers and kitchen staff in charge of the buffet were anything but. The buffet itself was sloppily attended to. Serving spoons were missing or unusable. The food itself was not replenished properly. It was allowed to get cold due to poor attention. A lot of the food ran out and was not refilled. This was an expensive meal and it did not live up to COCK N BULLS reputation or our prior visits over rhe yesrs. Very sad.
