We went to the Easter buffet at 2:00. Most of the food trays were empty when we got up in line. Desserts were gone by the time we got to them. We had to ask our server if the kids good at least have ice cream and were told they could not. Eventually they brought out some cookies and jello cups. This buffet was NOT worth the $40 per person price tag. Would not recommend and will not go back.

My girlfriends and I met at Peddler’s Village to catch up & enjoy shopping and lunch while doing so. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The table was very close to the other tables around us so we asked if we could move to a table that wasn’t quite as crowded and the waitress was very accommodating. Many of the tables are located near long walls of windows so the dining room is has really nice natural light. All three of us had salads (one Strawberry & two Apple) and agreed they were delicious. The shrimp I added to my salad was cooked perfectly. We took our time eating and lingered after we were finished since we had so much to talk about and our waitress never made us feel like we needed to leave. I would definitely recommend dining here if in the area.

It was empty and now I know why. Server was nice which was the only good part. The food was all greasy and heavily sauced. Chicken pot pie was almost all gravy. A few pieces of chicken, ONE carrot and ONE pearl onion. Mixed drink was bitter. Floors were dirty and sticky. Expensive for how poor quality it was. Not how I remembered it as eating there as a kid.

Conveniently located In Peddlers village but “average” all around. A bit worn inside. My food was served at room temperature but should have been hot. A lot of food for price, though. Nice server.

Good was awful. I ordered salmon. It was over cooked, dry and tasted like mothballs. The “potato hash” was fingerling potatoes in beef gravy. Rolls were still frozen on the bottom. Ordered a lemon drop martini. It tasted like rubbing alcohol with a lemon wedge. I would associate this place to where my grandparents would go for a weekday meal

My wife and I have been dining at The Cock'n Bull for the past 10 years. We never had a bad meal and love the old world charm of the place. Food is exceptional and prices are reasonable! The wait staff are knowledgeable of the menu and make excellent recommendations as they are treated to the menu items by the chef, so they can better perform their duties. We highly recommend if you are in the area of Peddlers Village in Lahaska, PA, take the time to have a meal at this establishment. It's well worth it!

Brunch at the Cock n Bull is worth every penny. We were getting family together. We were not rushed, the wait staff was excellent and the variety of food is outstanding. I will absolutely return and I highly recommend this choice to anyone who asks. I didn't have to worry about the picky eaters in the family since everyone was able to find more than one thing to suit their palate. I'm considering them for the family get together in December (even though I know it will be much more crowded at the holidays.) We did deliberately stay away from any weekend events at Peddler's Village, since those days are much more crowded than 'off' weekends. A fabulous time.

I've been going to cock n bull periodically for about 2o years usually always clean great food n great service. It waa a lil slow this time the potatoes were not desirable n the women's room was at least to say revolting. Don't know what happened. Everyone has a bad night Maybe I just happened to be there. Hopefully will be better my next time.

My wife and I haven't been to C&B for almost 40 years because we moved out of the area (I think I wore a leisure suit the last time we went? :) ). However, it was a special occasion place way back when, and we decided try it again since our schedule permitted. We were both very happy to see it has maintained its charm, excellent service, and food. We'll do our best to not let 40 years go by before our next visit!

This place needs help. Once a staple of the community it has become a has been fraud for fine dining. It is sad. Plastic side dishes, flavorless food and terrible service. The cheese board was a joke, and the entrees were terrible. The fish had no flavor and the crab cakes looked like frozen scrapple. Our waitress was so unprofessional and her and the hostess got into an argument while bussing a table and exchanged a “dont you dare I will kill you tonight” loud enough for all to hear. To which we were told we were getting dinner and a show. If I hadnt used a girftcard I would have never paid. Laughable attempt for a dining experience. My time was better spent at Clusters, the popcorn shop next door. Your couldn’t pay me to go back. Like I stated, this is sad because it should be a great place. I have some ideas, starting with the professionalism and dress of the staff, the name, the 90s sitcom decor and the quality of the menu. This is what happens when the fine dining hits a Cracker Barrel.

I am not sure if we had an off night. We went to celebrate valentines day the saturday after and had the special set valentines menu. My wife had lobster bisque which oddly had no lobster in it, her main course was chicken and risotto rice , its very difficult to enjoy your food when it comes out cold. I had prime rib which was overly salted to the point you could only taste salt. Desert was decent. Overall considering it was $35 a person.... I do not think we will be returning. Not the best way to spend valentines day. It was also an odd experience. As from when we ordered it took over 1 hour for the appetizer of the set menu to come up which was lobster bisque soup and ravioli. After we finished our appetizer we wait another 30 minutes for food. Our dessert showed up before we were even done dinner. Nothing like getting rushed out when they have people waiting and their kitchen is running show, and you have waited an hour and half to receive your dinner.

Terrible restaurant experience.

Had reservations for 7:00 PM and were seated right at 7:00 which was very good. Then we sat until 7:25 before our server finally showed up and then just to tell us that they were very busy with some large parties and she would be right back. After another 10 minute wait she took our drink order and suggested that we order our entrees then because the kitchen was so busy with the large parties. We said we would but that we didn't want our entrees to be served until we had some time to relax and enjoy our drinks for a few minutes. We waited another 15 minutes before our drinks came and, wait for it, our entrees showed up at the same time! We complained to our server but she never actually apologized, just kept telling us how busy they were. We've been going to the Cock N Bull for several years and, although the food has always been excellent, the service has deteriorated over the years and this experience was the worst we've ever had there.

Confusion about who was going to waitress our table. Waited for 15 min after seated by a bus boy no hostess at the entrance.
Table for2 was ok wish they had candles on the table for nicer ambience. Finally someone apologized and said our waitress was backed up so she asked us about drinks, 15 min later for drinks. Then 15 min after someone else again apologized and said she was helping the waitress and would take our order. Got the food a half hour later and they had forgotten my salad. Lastly, another person apologized about the mix up that was the general manager. Problem was no body knew who was assigned to our table. They did pay for our meal and gave a gift certificate to come back. This will definitely be a memorable birthday dinner!

It’s been years since I have been there. There was only 1 other table and I know why. The rolls were stale and rock hard. The red wine was way too cold and over priced. Seems like it was opened weeks ago and stored in the refrigerator. Dinner was mediocre and also overpriced. The waitress was very friendly and kind . She gets 5 stars but the restaurant gets -1.

We have dined at Cock n' Bull in the past and, to be honest, have never been overly impressed by the overall experience. However, our experience there on New Years Eve was very different - everything was excellent, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. The lobby and restaurant areas were very nicely decorated for the holidays, the menu was fantastic with something for everyone, the quality of the food was great and our server (Mike) was outgoing and made our dinner a little more fun! We will definitely be back again soon!
