Open kitchen was fun to watch. The smells inside restaurant were great and food was fabulous
The place seemed new and clean. Service was ok. Didn’t realize I had to ask for a refill for soda. Food was not good as I hoped it would be. The salmon was supposed to have a ginger sauce and all I could taste was butter. Veggies had so much butter too. Dessert was also disappointing—had the apple crisp. It was kinda watery and really didn’t have a taste. For the same amount of money we spent at Fat Canary, it was sad.
Kelli was a superb waitress. We will definitely be asking for her in the future.
Great food & service.
The whole experience was wonderful. Highly recommend
We were seated immediately and ordered cocktails and wine. The wine list was very pleasing. One of our party ordered the fried oysters and said they were the best he’d ever had. Entries were two ducking and one salmon. My duck was outstanding. The service was excellent. We’ll return!
We were lucky to have picked Cochon on 2nd. Flawless. So much so, that, by the end of the meal, we had made another reservation there for the next night. So, two nights in a row we had perfectly prepared food, and great service in a very comfortable atmosphere.
We ordered from a combination of items from the Dinner menu and the Bar menu. The Malbec I had was outstanding. First time, we will be back.
We had an excellent meal and great service. Would be a great place for a special occasion. Our only regret is that we only had one night to eat there!
Terrific place to dine. We had a 5 year old with us and they went out of their way to make her happy by sending the chef out for milk and thus her mom happy on her birthday. Attentive service but not overly so, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was fine dining but not pretentious. Nice work and I’m sure we’ll be back.
Great service and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
My boys couldn't come home for Easter so they had brunch together and had a really enjoyable Easter away from home. The tuna poke and rack of lamb were off the charts.
My husband and I tried Cochon on 2nd for Easter brunch. It was a 4 course meal that was absolutely outstanding. We had the Chateau Briand and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back for another meal!
Our waitress was very nice. We waited quite awhile for our entree after ordering. Not sure why. Our salmon was ok.
what a delicious and special meal we enjoyed on our visit to Williamsburg. HIGHLY recommend-
The staff was so warm and welcoming. Upscale, delicious menu but accommodating to my 10 year old son.
Always enjoy dining at Cochon when we are in town!
Excellent food and service will comeback for sure!!!
My wife and I spent a lovely evening at Cochon on 2nd. We were seated immediatly at a table for two, spaced perfectly. Started with Ceasar salad and rockfish. Wonderful! We will return.
Great food, service and practicing social Distancing. Highly recommend
Excellent eating place. Have been there several times.
The food was amazing. I had to pork chop that cooked perfectly!
The ambience was lovely. The menu looked great but in taste fell flat. The lobster bisque had neither lobster or bisque consistence. My husband called it essence of lobster broth! The scallops had a burned after taste. My salmon was tasty but the Brussels sprouts needed a bit more time to cook to remove the bitterness. My mixed drink and my husbands wine selection were good. My potato’s were delicious. Great ambience, maybe we should have selected different entrees?
Celebrated Birthday on Sat night with a party of four. The drinks were excellent, food was delicious and service was outstanding. Highly recommend Cochon Restaurant.
Had the scallops and they were terrible! So gritty they were hard to eat. Service was poor at best. Salmon was pretty good but overpriced. Did enjoy the creme brule.
Food is on par if not better than Le Yaca making it arguably the best restaurant in Williamsburg. The ambience is darker than the other big three of Wiliamsburg - Fat Canary, Le Yaca, Opus 9. Service was impeccable and friendly. Prices were pretty similar to the other high end restaurants of Williamsburg. Overall, very impressed.
We are frequent diners to Cochon and enjoy it each time we go there.
Food was ok, I would consider it overpriced for what I got. Atmosphere was a little too noisy.
Spent our 30th Anniversary (COVID style) all involved were masked. Food presentation excellent . Promptly served and food high quality
The food was outstanding! We had never been before and I found this looking online. We will go back! Service was great too1
Great drinks and food.
Get well Neil.
I have had nearly everything on the menu. I have enjoyed every bite. My wife and I probably eat there at least once a week.
Great food, great service.
Came for dual Birthdays and was not disappointed. Very nice ambiance by a fireplace white table cloth setting. Food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Would love to go again if I’m the area.
Best meal ever.. The whole evening was wonderful. Will defiantly go back
This was our 4th visit. We love the food and the atmosphere. This time our waitress wasn't very knowledgeable as the wait staff has been in the past. We still enjoyed our meal!
I only have one word to describe this hidden gem ...... perfect. We've traveled the world, enjoy 5 star restaurants, have enjoyed many cuisines and many many restaurants. But this restaurant right here ....... perfect.
The food was ok, but not what I would have expected for the prices they are charging. The main issue they have is the amount of time it takes for them to get meals out of the kitchen. We had dinner reservations for 7:30. We were seated almost immediately. Everything else after that was incredibly slow. We were there for two and a half hours. Over an hour went by from the time we finished our salads until our entrees came out. By the time we ate and ended up being able to pay, it was already 10:00. It was a long slow night with average food unfortunately.
Wonderfully romantic Valentine's meal!
