Several friends joined my husband and I for a lovely dinner. Adding 2 xtra to our reservation was accommodated which we appreciated.
Cochon has to be one of the best, if not the best restaurants in the Williamsburg area. Our expectations have always been met and exceeded
Excellent restaurant. Chef/owner very involved with the customers. A little expensive but any restaurant this good has the right to a decent return on their efforts.
Delicious food, solicitous service, and warm ambience. One of my favorite places in Williamsburg for any occasion.
The food and service was exceptional. Best crab cakes I have ever eaten!
Our third year dining there on our spa weekend. 3 of our meals were excellent but the 4th was rockfish and tasted fishy vs fresh fish taste but well prepared. Desserts were delish
In town for a conference and wanted to try a venue for the first time. I called prior to our reservation and they were very gracious to accommodate our travel delay and pushed back our reservation time.
Upon arrival we started with wine and a specialty martini, unwinding from our travel and leading into a culinary adventure.
Now, the food is outstanding. We ate way too much as we wanted to try as much as possible since it all sounded so good. Bottom line, it was. Shrimp app, duck sausage taco app, duck breast, rockfish, bread pudding w/hm ice cream! Wine btg gave ample opportunity to have red and white.
The decor is unique, attractive, thought provoking and yet soothing and complementary to the level of cuisine. We will definitely return and encourage others to make Cochon a destination. There's a nice bar area as well...
Absolutely the best restaurant in Williamsburg. Chris, our waiter was very knowledgeable and great.
Cochon delivered an excellent dinner for our special birthday.
Excellent menu and service
Excellent food, just wish we lived closer! We were there for the New Year's Eve 2020 celebration. It was also our wedding anniversary and they made everything so special for us!
New Year’s Eve was wonderful. The food, atmosphere, service and accommodations were superb!! Could not think of a better place to spend the evening.
Our true favorite. Exceptional food, service and all around quality experience.
Lamb was too salty. They did provide another lamb dish but still charged us for it. My wife waited for the lamb to be done while the rest of us already finished our meal. Price is too high for the food, way overpriced. $36 for scallops is excessive. I don’t think their prices were this high in the past.
Fabulous restaurant, service and food superb, definitely will be coming back
Outstanding on every level, Chris (with the Beard) was our server and truly a professional, Great Host with recommendations...I cannot do justice in describing the meal other than from start to finish it was a dining pleasure.
Excellent service and the food was great!
There were not enough staff in the kitchen. Service between courses was slow and waits between courses induced occasional boredom.
Excellent in every way. My wife and I travelled from Texas to spend Christmas in Williamsburg and Cochon was a memorable part of the holiday experience.
We experienced quite a lag waiting for our drinks to be served. After that, things ran smoothly.
Great ambience and our server was fantastic, but the food took way too long to arrive. We waited quite a while for each course — (including soup) — but especially the entrees. The food was good, but not worth the price.
Great new spot for us, and a can’t miss recommendation. Came highly rated and didn’t disappoint. Awesome entrees, salads, and apps. Beef Tenderloin was perfect and Salmon was as good as it gets. One highlight was the Scalloped Potatoes au Gratin— as great a “side” as you’ll ever get. Service superb, and atmosphere cozy and romantic. We’ll
definitely go back whenever we’re in Williamsburg. Great job to the Chef and staff.
My sister in laws $55 steak was chewy. She sent it back and was given a filet which was much better. At $55 for a steak that should have been tender, it was so over priced. Feel this restaurant’s quality of cooking has gone way down while it remains pricy for this inferior quality. We won’t be back and have heard this from others.
Excellent all around. Great dining experience. Leaves the competition far behind!
Great food and the service by Sabrina was outstanding. This is the third time we have been to Cochon and I would recommend it!
The food and the service were excellent but the noise level made conversation difficult and frankly detracted from the overall dinner experience
As always Cochon doesn't disappoint! My salmon was perfection with just a bit of crisp on the outside while moist and flaky inside. The vegetables of asparagus and carrots were delicious and my fork slid right through them. Service was very good and we felt catered to with care.
Fabulous fabulous. Delectable ...don’t change a thing.
Great service and great food; our server Jesse was awesome!
Food is not only delicious but prepared with care and presented beautifully . I like sitting by the “ open kitchen” where I can watch the Chef prepare his specialties.
Excellent food and spirits! Would recommend to friends.
Birthday dinner for my daughter and 1st time here. We had great food (firecracker shrimp, lamb shank and scallops, yum!) and the ambiance was perfect with a roaring fireplace to boot. They actually printed out a special menu with my daughter's name and birthday wishes. She had Bananas foster bread pudding and I had chocolate mousse cake, both made a great end to a great dinner. Shout out to the bartender who gives a great pour.
Dining in Williamsburg remains an issue -- there are so few good places, even adequate places. Cochon is adequate on a relative scale (relative being Williamsburg), but on an absolute scale, like every other restaurant in our fair city, it falls well short. I remain mystified: how can a town with such an affluent, college educated population be so bereft of fine dining?!
Outstanding food and service would recommend this to everyone thanks.
Very welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter Chris, gave us excellent recommendations for dinner I had the whole fried snapper! Beautiful presentation and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this dish. My husband had the scallops which were also delicious and cooked perfectly. What was also nice is that we were able to take our time and enjoy the food and conversation. Never once did we feel rushed to order or settle the check, it made for a very relaxing experience.
Wonderful food and nice menu choices. Service was great and the place is beautifully decorated. Would recommend to anyone visiting Williamsburg
Great Place mildly eclectic ordinary food. Great presentation. We had the Scallops and Mushrooms, Arugula Salad and New York Strip. Outstanding !!!! The use of the big green egg within their culinary scheme really hits a home note. Great job, we will definitely return and tell many.
Really a pleasant find for us.
Everything was exceptional — the steak salad, the service, and the attention to detail.
We visited Cochon for our ninth Anniversary. It was exactly just right. We shared a salad and a meal. We like that you can share a meal and they will plate the split for you. With the entree they will provide extra vegetable and potatoes. We had the Rocket Arugula salad that was so delicious and was the perfect start to our dining. Then we had the Red Snapper with prawns, superb. We took home leftovers for another meal the next day. We feel that Cochon just gets better and better each time we visit. As a special touch, they printed menus with our names and an Anniversary wish.
